"High Cotton" is the home that will have you and your guests pre-reserving for years to come! Enjoy it's high ceilings, gourmet kitchen, luxury furnishings and the VIEW! Perfect family home for a DeBordieu beach vacation. Wonderfully decorated and spacious this four bedroom home features two king size suites on the lower level as well as an open living/dining and kitchen combination. Wide porch and screened in area on the Oceanside make a perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect South Carolina weather. Upstairs guests will find two additional bedrooms with private bathrooms and an additional living room with balcony overlooking the beach. Wifi, cable, keurig, tea kettle, elevator, garage and much more! DeBordieu is truly one of the best kept secrets of The Grand Strand place where families vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy this gem for a week, a month or a long weekend!

Easy check in and communication with the realty company. We enjoyed the bicycle rentals along with chairs and cornhole boards during the stay. The elevator is a nice amenity to use also.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs A/C unit was out for the first three days of our stay which made for a few uncomfortable nights, but the TideLife staff was very responsive and the owner made an accommodation for our troubles, which we very much appreciated. Otherwise, we had a wonderful vacation. This was our second stay at High Cotton, which is in a perfect location. We love DeBordieu and have been vacationing there for ~20 years. The house was clean, well-appointed, and well-maintained. High Cotton perfectly fits our family's needs. We hope to return again.

Wonderful stay

Such a lovely place to enjoy some slow paced, family time. Only complaint were the ants in the kitchen. They got to all of our dry groceries and while management quickly brought traps and spray, it wasn’t enough to keep them away. The ants stayed with us all weekend which was not ideal for the premium, we we’re happy to pay, to be there. Otherwise, everything was lovely and we look forward to staying there again soon - sans ants.

Awesome trip

House was amazing. We decided we are going to book this house every year. Beautiful view of the ocean. Cleaning job could have been better, but other than that, amazing trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful. But...

For the most part we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. Unfortunately there had been a dog in the house a week prior and we were greeted with feces and a urine soaked rug in the office of the home which we needed as an extra bedroom. Very unfortunate.

This is a great house! The view is OUTSTANDING! You feel like the house is actually on the water. Our families were very comfortable and the layout was fantastic. House was clean and orderly. There were some stains on the upstairs sectional and some construction that was extremely noisy going on next door but the latter was only for a few hours a day and luckily didn't disturb us too much. Aside from those two things it was pretty close to perfect! Would come back to this house in a heartbeat and certainly hope to do just that!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We completely fell in love with everything about this house. It was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we needed for our family. You also can’t beat the location as it’s perfectly placed steps away from water. We watched beautiful sunrises with dolphins playing in the water, and then the dramatic shift of a storm coming in off the back porch. A short walk from the house gets you to the wildlife preserve area of beach which is so serene. Very hard place to leave and we will definitely be returning as often as possible.
