Here is your next vacation hide-away in the center of Historic Taos! Come and stay at the best kept secret in Taos! And it is the perfect place to stay while you are feeding your creative soul at one of the many workshops and events that Taos has to offer (see links below).

Inger Jirby's Guest Houses are located in downtown Taos, walking distance to Taos Plaza and the Blumenschein and Harwood Museums, part of a 200-year-old adobe compound on Historic Ledoux Street. The Guest Houses offer accessibility to the shops, restaurants, and galleries in the heart of Taos, while still being quiet and homey.

Comfortable and large, both Guest Houses have air conditioning, are beautifully furnished and sleep 4 people. Equipped with all the comforts of home: full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, Roku.

The main bedroom and bathroom are in a lofted space and are accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. There is also a trundle bed on the main floor which sleeps 2.

Enjoy the comfort and beauty of Inger Jirby's Gallery and Guest Houses for a true Taos experience.

Parking is right in front of the casitas. It will accommodate three vehicles, so if you're first in, please park to the far right.

PLEASE NOTE: NO CHECK-INS ON NEW YEAR'S DAY, CHRISTMAS DAY, EASTER SUNDAY OR THANKSGIVING DAY. Your stay may cover those days, and you may check out, but check-ins are not available.

We love staying in these casitas. Ms Jirby is a treasure and she has curated her places with the authentic vibe that draws you to Taos to begin with. When you add in the beautiful, original artwork that decorates the place it’s like spending a night in a museum. The casitas are well appointed with a homes necessities so you can embed yourself there and be self sufficient and it’s so centrally located that you can stroll to all the lovely places to serve you if you desire. We are already checking our calendar for an opportunity to return. We now think of this casita as the destination and Taos as the accommodation.

Casita is spacious, "artfully"decorated and so cozy. Cannot get a better location in Taos! I have stayed in the other unit before - both are excellent. However I did not realize the bathroom is on the seconf floor of #8. Parking is tight but once you get into your spot, there's no need to move - everything in town is walking distance. The owner is very responsive if you have to contact with questions. Thanks for a great stay!!

This casita was PERFECT! Exactly as pictured and in a great location in Taos. We walked to the Plaza, to dinner and probably could have walk to the grocery store if need be, although we had a car. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast before we got in with our day. Although we didn’t use it, there is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Taos again.

We were delighted with our stay at the Casita! It was a perfect location for exploring in town and easy to get to hiking, hot springs and other adventures. The piano was a welcome surprise. The art in the unit was wonderful. Easy access to coffee shops, galleries and grocery stores. The well supplied kitchen made it easy to cook at home. The only suggestion was to consider a topper to soften the living room bed and fluffier pillows. :) Thank you for a wonderful week in Taos. We will return!

Charming Casita adjacent to the plaza

This charming casita is perfectly situated right off the plaza on a quiet street. We highly recommend it for anyone who is comfortable with using a narrow, spiral staircase. We will certainly stay here again.

Simply delightful

Loved the casita! one must be mobile with the spiral staircase so plan ahead.I wanted for nothing as the casita is well provisioned. Location is terrific for Taos Plaza access.Be sure to walk to La Cueva Cafe for excellent food.

Glad to stay here again!"Spacious" is right. I used the well equipped kitchen every morning and the easy-to-work laundry machines a few times.The location is superb for walking access to galleries, restaurants, the plaza and a public park, and for vehicular access to connecting roads for shopping and public trails in the area.Bring grippy-soled shoes for the spiral staircase that connects the main floor to the loft bedroom and bathroom.

Clean and convenient

Nice large casita w lovely pieces of art by the owner. A few things caused our moderate rating of our experience- VERY BRIGHT, making it hard to sleep, very narrow spiral staircase that was difficult for 2 people in their 70s to go up and down and the bathroom was upstairs.

Wonderful apartment in the middle of Taos' art district.

This wonderful apartment is right next to the Inger Jirby gallery on Ledoux St. in Taos and is filled with examples of her art. It is easy walking distance to the Harwood Museum, the Plaza and Bent St. Charming place in a perfect location.
