Ammenities include a completely redone kitchen , bathrooms, 2 car garage, vaulted sunroom , roof, elec/plumb, , appliances, roof, furniture (beds/etc). "Classic Clev Hts" Architecture!! We just wrapped up this major renovation and is ready to host your next visit or get together. I wanted to also mention the home has wireless internet and cable tv.

Latest Rennovation: We just opened the 3rd floor master suite which includes another full bathroom, Queen bed and plenty of space to get away form at all.

Large house easily accommodated our group. It was clean. Beds were good. Pillows could be replaced, basics were available, Neighbors were friendly. Plenty of hot water and air conditioning was wonderful. Front porch was used often

Property was very spacious and accommodated our 5 Adults and an Infant well. While it is an older home, the kitchen and bathrooms had all of the modern amenities while the bedrooms kept the charm of the home. We had no issues, so limited interactions with host but check-in and out were smooth. Highly recommend considering it for your next visit to Cleveland.

The house was obviously remodeled so that was quite nice. However, we saw evidence of a mouse or rat on our second day that continued during our entire stay of 8 days. Frank, the host, did end up trapping one in the kitchen with a sticky pad just before we checked out and he was very friendly and responsive to our issue with the TV reception.

Great house!

This house was just as advertised and had quite the character. Plenty of rooms and the was very clean. Great remodeled bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner was very responsive and flexible as well. Would definitely stay again.

2nd summer in a row that we've used this property to gather friends from a couple of different states to hang out and play games. The location, 5 beds, 2.5 baths, and large dining table are perfect for our needs.

Great home, location and space!

We stayed last week with another family to sight see around Cleveland and felt both families had plenty of space to relax. It was close to all the major attractions in Cleveland and the house was clean and well kept. Would recommend!

Very comfortable and relaxing home base

The property was clean, fully-stocked with what we needed, and in a good, quiet location. It was easy to get to University Circle, Downtown, and the highway. Plenty of room for a group of 6-8 people.

The perfect location and home for a girls weekend! Close to John Carroll and downtown, with all the conveniences nearby! The house was large and clean and everything we needed for a fabulous weekend! Thanks Frank!

wedding occasion

We were in town for our son’s wedding and wanted a place that we could gather with family. The property was very clean, warm and inviting - felt like a home away from home. We spent time relaxing on the front porch. The location was wonderful! The host was super nice. I only needed to contact the host once for a question and he responded immediately.

Just right for our family.

HUGE, solid brick home with lots of space. Perfect for a family like ours....3 generations, but no kids and no problems with stairs. (There are 3 floors!) Everyone had plenty of room and never a bathroom shortage! The neighborhood was quiet and it was wonderful to be able to have the dog with us!

The perfect stay!!

The home was beautiful! We were in town for my father in law's memorial service and needed a place for the siblings and a gathering place for family. Frank's property was PERFECT. We were able to receive and entertain family and guests comfortably. Every utensil I needed to cook was there. The backyard was perfect for the little ones to play and tire themselves out. We had no issues at all. Thanks again Frank for providing the perfect stay during one of the most difficult times in our lives.

Perfect for a family

My parents and siblings were gathering for my aunt’s funeral. My parents have never rented a house before and always stay in hotels, so they were skeptical of this whole process, but I wanted my mom to have a place that felt like home where should could spend time with her family to help her in these first tough days after the loss of her sister. This home was perfect. There was plenty of room for the family to spread out, including the first floor primary bedroom with its own bathroom, so my parents could have space to themselves if they needed it. There were plenty of bedrooms for siblings, partners, and grandchildren, and the living room and dining rooms were perfect gathering spaces. My mom loved the porches and spent lots of time reading and drinking tea. Everyone kept talking about how grateful we were for such a wonderful space that allowed us to be together.

Lots of space, including 5 bedrooms!

Stayed with my 3 daughters and granddaughters. We loved having room to spread out and esp. having 5 bedrooms. Located on a quiet street. House has a front porch, but we were disappointed there was no outside furniture. That would be a nice touch. Back yard is very small - it appeared to be larger in pictures. House was clean and well-furnished. Coffee maker was good, but there were only 2 full-size coffee cups. Others were only about half size. There were, however, at least 6 wine glasses. This property suited our needs and I recommend it.

So good to hear you enjoyed your stay with us!. I wasn't aware that we were running low on coffee mugs etc. They tend to walk away and we'll be sure to restock Immediately. The yard is a pretty standard size Cleveland heights yard, but we've found people really enjoy the larger than normal parking area behind the house ( near the new garage we had built). This century home was completely remodeled with all new electrical, plumbing , bathrooms , kitchen, mechanicals, windows and roof.... but we're always making improvements ( recently finished our brand new 3rd floor master suite)! We're always open to suggestions and constantly making changes....thanks again Kathy Frank & Sarah

This was a beautiful and clean property that was spacious and well kept for our stay. Anything we could need or want for our comfort was provided for us. Crest Road

House was as presented in the listing. Very comfortable and kitchen was great for cooking for a crowd. Enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and going for walks in the parks in the area.

Born and raised in Cleveland.....I stayed up here in Cleveland Hts right after graduating John Carroll University....and after a short stint in the corporate world I made the plunge into the world of remodeling and realestate. My wife and I are foodies and love the local fare as well as the close proximity to the downtown restaraunts.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This particular property was abandoned and in dire need of some serious TLC. As luck would have it, the "bones" and basic structure were sound and worth saving. Cleveland Hts is one of the original "inner ring" suburbs and as such they have some of the most interesting architecture and homes you'll find in the area. I'm in the process of researching the homes history but I was attracted to the large front porch with classic Clev Hts spindles and the farm house look. Over the past 8 months we've completely revamped the mechanicals, gutted bathrooms and the kitchen and even vaulted the sunroom ceiling.

Some of the major benefits to guest would be all the modern amenities: updated electrical with grounded outlets throughout (This is one of the few homes with ALL new wiring ) The furnace and ac are new and energy efficient and all the windows have all been replaced and are easy to operate. The entire house has been modernized with all the creature comforts you could want.
