3,400 square foot home located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood close to everything Alamosa has to offer! Great Sand Dunes National Park is 30 minutes away and a short drive to both Wolf Creek & Monarch Ski Areas. Beautifully furnished with unique art and plenty of space to relax. 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, fully furnished including all bedding & towels. Master suite includes jetted tub, brand new glass shower, coffee station, 55 inch TV, and private deck. Gourmet kitchen complete with a commercial 6 burner stove is ready for you to prepare full meals along with a gas grill located on the patio. Formal dining room is perfect for enjoying a family meal. Large fenced in yard with mature trees including a wood burning fire pit and hammock. Projection screen TV room with Dish TV and DVD library as well as 72 inch TV located in the main living room. Full laundry room.
This rental includes FREE admission at Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs located 30 minutes north of Alamosa for up to 10 guests per day that you stay with us. Check out the hot springs perk at www.sanddunespool.com

Great house for a getaway weekend!

Family trip

We came for the weekend to celebrate Father's Day with extended family. This house was the perfect place for our little family to reset at the beginning and end of each day. The house and neighborhood were beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Perfect Fit

This house was a perfect fit for my family. We needed a place to gather as we were in town for the funeral of my mom. The City House checked all the boxes. It was big enough for several of us to stay there and for all family members to get together and not be stepping on each other toes. I highly recommend this property if you are having a family gathering for whatever reason.

European House

Nice clean home with large kitchen. No hairdryer Needs a screen on the master bedroom balcony door (no air conditioner). Fun to see deer in the neighborhood. Fire pit made for a yummy evening (s’mores). Overall great experience.

Comfortable house in a nice neighborhood

5 of us “gal pals” stayed in this home. 7 of us originally committed but 2 had to cancel, one last minute. The house definitely accommodated all of us comfortably. The house is located in a nice neighborhood and the property manager was SUPERB at community with me prior to arrival & while we were there. We discovered a few items that didn’t function but didn’t affect our stay. The property manager appreciated us being their attention to those items. I highly recommend. Note: 3 of the 4 bedrooms are upstairs but that didn’t pose a problem for us.

Relaxing space after long days

House was large enough for all 11 of us. We loved the quiet neighborhood and it's walkability. Big kitchen, large yard, and two family type living rooms. Lots of fans to help with the warm temperatures. Our only issue was regulating the water temperature in the showers fast enough. Lovely space and relaxing after our long days on the train, alligator farm and sand dunes. Thank you!

A warm experience!

Nice sized house for a larger family gathering. It was above average temperatures (about 90 - average is 82) and this house does not have central A/C. The extremely noisy cheap window A/C unit in the family room next to the kitchen does nothing noticeable and an assortment of portable fans did very little to remove heat from the house making indoor time (such as sleeping) less enjoyable. The house appears wired for ceiling fans and one in every bedroom would have been nice for silent air movement. Opening windows and running noisy portable fans all night made it feel like being next to the busy freeway. We usually stay at a VRBO once a year and so far this has been the one that could use the most TLC to enhance comfort. The yard is nicely maintained but we had to clean up a number of deposits left by prior pet visitors so the kids could play on the grass. We otherwise enjoyed our stay and the complimentary hot springs pool passes.

Perfect house for the family wedding

The house was absolutely perfect for our family wedding stay. We had plenty of room for the family to visit in between activities. Couldn’t have asked for more❤️

Beautiful Home Conveniently Located

This house is so cute and was the perfect accomodations for my family! Everyone loved it. Everything was conveniently located and it was nice to have a grocery store so close. We had a few family members who had never fished and found a place close, and two out of four caught fish. This was a very memorable trip and I hope to come back to this house soon!

Perfect spot for Christmas family reunion

We absolutely loved the “City House”! We chose Alamosa as a central location for our multi-generational family reunion for Christmas and we were extremely fortunate to have found this property. We had 8 adults ranging from 22-62 and 3 kids, 5, 7 & 12. The property was perfect with plenty of room for all of us. Our dogs loved the large fenced back yard. Two different living room areas with big screen TV’s allowed us variety in watching sports and also Xmas movies. Location is great as well with very nice park just a short walk away. The bonus amenity of free day passes to Sand Dunes hot springs cannot be overstated; that place is amazing. All in all we could have been happier and strongly recommend this place. We will be back!!!

Large home with lots of space.

The house is nice with lovely yard and outside furniture. We've stayed here before and it was nice to have the queen bed in downstairs bedroom added! Nice to have all the coffee provided. Unfortunately, the house is dirty. Floors had dirt on them. Walking barefoot proved this one! The counters were gritty. Still using the same dishes and glassware from a year ago. Mis matched and not even enough iced tea glasses for 6 people. Looks like the owners haven't replaced anything for a while. Sheets should be crisp, cotton. These were pilly old thin ones. Only one hand towel in bathrooms. The house is hot in summer. Need screens on the master door so that it can be left open to let the cool night air in without bugs. Lots of mosquitos. Window air conditioners would make sleeping way more comfortable in ALL bedrooms. Neighbors dogs are a problem. Barking very early on a Sunday morning! The owners need to attend to details.

Large, comfortable home

Spacious, clean house in nice neighborhood. Comfortable beds in 4 separate bedrooms all connected to bathrooms. Although there isn't central air-conditioning, there are plenty of fans and bedroom windows open to let in cool evening air. Home theater and large flatscreen TV in two separate living rooms allowed the kids to watch one movie while the adults watched another. Spacious kitchen is complete with all the pots and pans you'll need including a slow cooker! We enjoyed our stay at "the fancy house" (as referred to by my grandkids) and would stay there again!

Great house in a great part of Alamosa

This house is big, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We also took advantage of the free passes to Sand Dunes Recreation Center; the little kids loved swimming there. We would stay again!

Alamosa Stay

The house was all it said as far as rooms. Plenty of sleeping, bathrooms and living space. Loved having the VIP pool passes included. The concrete floors weren’t baby friendly for one trying to sit on own or pull up or beginning to walk. The cleaning fee should be refunded as under the furniture had not been cleaned in some time.!

Very fun house

We had a complete ball here over New Years. Great neighborhood - very quiet. Great kitchen and loved the projection screen. Minutes into town (great Pizza at Purple Pig). Bathrooms were amazing. Felt like staying in giant luxury hotel. Would certainly return!

Spacious home for large groups - great experience!

Alamosa was the central location for three families meeting up for Thanksgiving. This home perfectly accommodated 6 adults, 3 teens, and our canine buddies. Everyone had plenty of space to both spread out, as well as to be together. The yard is amazing, and allowed the pups plenty of room to stretch their legs. In addition, the neighborhoood is very walkable, and their is a wonderful trail system just around the corner. The owners, Donnie and Carly, were incredibly responsive when I had questions. The pictures accurately represent the home; it is modernized and well-maintained. We had a wonderful experience staying here, and would highly recommend this Vrbo to others.
