Beautiful veiws of the lake. Great community with lots to do. We traveled with two adults and 5 kids. The house was comfortable and nice. Just as pictured. The hosts were very communicative, quick to respond, and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

An absolutely great place for a getaway. The view across the lake is spectacular. Thoroughly enjoyed the fly fishing for trout. Mark was quick to respond to all questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Land Harbor! The kitchen was well stocked and tons of blankets were available to use. The home was clean and peaceful! We will be back!

A fantastic location both in the town-proximity to hiking and mountains and the views of their community lake. Quaint, clean home with a back porch and porch swing you do not want to leave!

Beautiful View

We loved the view from the house. It was so relaxing. And the neighborhood facilities, the pool, lake swimming area, nature walks are all amazing too! We had plenty of bedding and kitchen supplies and it was a cozy stay!

Excellent Weekend in the Mountains

My family had a wonderful time here! They layout was family friendly, the view amazing, the kitchen well stocked and the location ideal for our mountain wanders. Check-in was easy and the check-out routine was reasonable. Our only regret was not staying longer.

well maintained and clean. great neighborhood and community. only down side is it is a little ways from the lake but still easily walkable. fantastic views.easy commutes to restaraunts and stores

John, we're glad you enjoyed your vacation and the home. Next time try the steps right behind the home to the lake. They are steep, but you can't get much closer (~30 seconds or so) (and there's another trail not as steep to the lake not far from the home - it's just hard to find because it's in the woods). Come back soon and check them out! (See the welcome book for more information on the walking trails in the resort - around the lake and others). Mark

Beautiful cabin with every possible amenities

We had a great time in the cabin. We found everything so nicely arranged and every amenity present. No Internet but who wants it on a vacation! The location is just awesome right beside the lake. The value for money is excellent as well as it has room for at least 8 people to sleep comfortably.

Family Christmas

Our adult children used the cabin for Christmas. The view is spectacular. The check in process is very clear and detailed, easy. The home was clean.

Beautiful!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend escape! The property was beautiful and the home very inviting and charming. It was well kept and clean with everything we needed. We definitely recommend Tranquility to anyone who wants to get away from the fast paced lifestyle. We appreciate the owners sharing their home with us!

The perfect home for our family.

I’ve been visiting Land Harbor for 32 years. Staying with my aunt and then my parents who recently retired there two years ago. Mark and Kim’s home allowed my family the opportunity to have a fabulous Christmas holiday season shared by 4 generations. Your home was perfect for my family. Thank you for making it feel like our home away from home. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Everything listed about the house was correct. Nice quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the lake, clean house that had everything you would need. Did not want to leave this morning. We really hope to be able to stay again. The host was excellent in preparing us for our stay.Dab

A very enjoyable stay!

Communication was superb. All as described. We def enjoyed the lake view every AM, and relaxing in the evenings with that same breath taking view. The property is very cool! I loved, personally the bunk bed area. Very comfortable. Close to Sugar mountain, and local attractions! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us.

Best view on the lake

Really-the best view at Linville Land Harbor with great deck spaces to enjoy the view. I loved that this home felt like a traditional mountain cabin-comfortable and homey. We had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked - we did a lot of cooking. The kids really enjoyed the beach and pool and we all loved the lake. Mark is an outstanding host and the communication throughout our stay was stellar. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway!

We loved our stay! This mountain home is beautifully located near the lake. It is surrounded with foliage that makes it a private setting. You can sit in the living room and enjoy the beauty of the lake or go outdoors to the many levels of outdoor decks. My husband and I came for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary but will be back again with our children. There is plenty of space to spread out and many outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. Mark was easy to work with and made us feel welcome.

Wonderful mountain hideaway close to everything

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time here! It was the perfect location for us to explore Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Linville Caverns and well as the Viaduct! Exploring the community where this house was located proved to be as beautiful as the places we had come to see! The house is a bit dated and rustic, but it adds to its charm. The views of the lake were spectacular. And everything in the house worked and were easy to use. The guest book provided was very informative. And, we even got a surprise visit from a baby bear on our first morning there! Highly recommend!

This home was welcoming, clean, and well equipped. We loved the beautiful view from the covered deck even when it rained. The kitchen had many basic supplies that made our meals easier to put together. Overall this property was just what our family was looking for and the kayaks were a nice way to enjoy the lake.

40th Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our two week stay. Even the weather cooperated. The information book told us everything we needed to know.
