An authentic antique log cabin, transported and rebuilt in the Timberidge community of Gatlinburg, the cabin sits at the end of the road on a hill with spectacular views. Yet, it is only minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the national park. This cabin will make you feel a world away with the hand hewn logs from the 1800's and stacked stone chimney. Sit back in the rocking chairs on the front porch and take in the wonderful view of the smoky mountains or relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and shopping. Inside, you will find with the rustic feel of the cabin are all the conveniences of today. A fully equipped kitchen and wood burning fireplace for those romantic evenings spent in the cabin, a king sized Beautyrest pillow top bed, as well as free WIFI will provide the amenities you deserve on your vacation. Cabin also has a full sized washer, dryer, and hi def TV. The beauty of nature abounds at Honeymoon Hideaway. Many guests have seen the family of bears that stroll through the property from time to time. Take in the beautiful long range views and listen to wild turkey calls in the morning while you drink coffee on the porch in your rocking chair.

My wife and I loved this cabin. It was just as described, clean, well maintained and easy to find. Nice Mountain View and sunsets every night. We would stay here again.

Outstanding location with great sunsets. Quiet and secluded as promised. Well equipped and easy to access. Taylor was very responsive to our couple of questions. Would definitely use again if we’re back in the Smokeys!

Top of the mountain solitude with astounding views . Privacy was unsurpassed and the whole stay was wonderful. Had a big storm and lost power but they restored it in a few hours. We had candles, flashlights and headlamps so it actually added to the experience. Great place with an excellent host.

We had a lot of rain but driving wasn’t bad. Got to see a bear. But not as cute as last year with the mom and 2 cubs playing. The cabin is like a giant motel room but much better

The cabin was exactly as advertised. The view was awesome. Directions were easy. We loved staying there and would definitely come back. Had a bear encounter which was highlight of trip. Only thing I would suggest is better lighting in kitchen.

(this was in the middle of the night) You have to watch for the Black bears, they were everywhere on that mountain. went after our truck and tried tearing the bed cover off. The bear tried opening the doors of the truck and couldn't Thank God!!! (this was in the afternoon) The black bear came back during the day and tried coming on the porch with us, the bear had snuck up on us, from under the porch. We never saw him nor heard him until we saw him at the bottom of the porch steps!!! I did let the owner know about the bear and the damage he had done to our truck. WE HAD NO FOOD NOR DRINKS IN OUR TRUCK AT THE TIME OF THE FIRST BEAR ATTACK.

Wildlife is abundant in the area. Bears are naturally curious, and may try to get into a vehicle, especially if they smell something that interests them. We recommend that guests keep their vehicles locked at all times.

We absolutely love the community where this cabin is located. Each cabin sits on almost an acre and is secluded from the others in the neighborhood. We found that to be a rarity compared to most cabin areas that are stacked on top of each other. The authentic logs that were used to rebuild the cabin give it a romantic charm that make it stand out from cabins in other communities in the area.
Although secluded, the cabin has a great view and is easily accessed with vehicle and very close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and downtown Gatlinburg.
