This fully licensed, custom home is situated on a private 1-acre property with stunning views of the Tofino Inlet, Clayoquot Sound and Meares Island. This true west coast gem and long-time favourite of renters, the Tofino View House is a luxurious oceanfront home with custom interior design, featuring 9 ft. ceilings, rough cut timber framing, wide plank fir flooring, heated slate flooring, large gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a large, private, water-facing deck with hot tub.
The Tofino View House is conveniently located within 2 km of the town of Tofino and 2 km of world-renowned Chesterman Beach (2 min drive).

The home is pet friendly (upon request). Organized events and parties are prohibited, including weddings and wedding receptions.

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. It’s a perfect setting for our family to spend time together. Activities nearby (surfing, biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing, exploring, etc) when you want them, or a quiet oasis when you want to relax. Highly recommended.

Absolutely as advertised in every way. A truly gorgeous home with a beautiful property and stunning views! The kitchen was a joy to cook in and there was loads of space for a family of six adults to relax and enjoy our time together. The hot tub looking out over the water was a huge hit with us all, as well.Peter was a great host and immediately helpful if we had a question.Highly recommend this property!

The views of the inlet from the kitchen, living room, and backyard were absolutely stunning. We were captivated by its beauty and peacefulness, whether enjoying the morning light on the water as the tide came in or unwinding at the end of the day.

Home was well equipped it had everything a family would need. It’s hard to think of any necessity that was missing. One simple suggestion- we had excellent weather with highs in the low to mid seventies, the upstairs bedrooms, especially the guest rooms got a bit warm, even with the windows open. A small fan would have been a nice addition.

This is a beautiful property suitable for 8 people. It had a very well equipped kitchen with lots of dishes, pots, pans coffee machines etc. The hot tub was wonderful with views of snow capped mountains. It could not have been better.

What an amazing stay! This was our first time in Tofino, and Pete and his stay made it unforgettable! From the jaw dropping scenery to the hot tub to the feeling of being alone in the woods while actually being close to everything, we were beyond pleased with our stay! Pete was super communicative and very quick to repond to any questions we had. Several weeks later, we still can't stop talking about this trip and hope to come back again!

Amazing Stay!

My family and I had a great stay here over Christmas. Other than the view and house be gorgeous, it was stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had quality equipment which was a plus!We had a great time and will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I have been Tofino locals for over 25 years and have an appreciation for the natural beauty and solitude of wilderness. We have owned other properties in Tofino in the past, however, when we visited the View House we fell in love with the privacy and tranquility of inlet waterfront. Sharing this experience with others is something we cherish.

When we first visited the Tofino View House we fell in love with the beautiful views of Meares Island and the privacy this 1 acre provides. There are at least 5 massive, old-growth cedar trees on the property and the atmosphere is of nature and tranquility.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

One of the unique benefits of our property is the absolute privacy and quiet that 1 acre provides. Most rooms in the house are north/east facing with have stunning views of Tofino Inlet & Meares Island. The bird life is amazing, including eagles, owls and herons fishing at low tide. As you look up from the hot-tub the starlit sky is framed by a 250+ yr. cedar tree. The property is conveniently located between the main town and the best beaches in the area, both a 2 minute drive. There is also a paved walking/cycling path leading to the town and beaches, accessed at the top of our driveway. A quintessential Tofino experience!
