EVERYTHING IN TOWN AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!
5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 kitchens, and an office/hang out room. Just minutes walking distance to all restaurants, sports bars, shops and beautiful beaches in the heart of kona, yet in a quiet neighborhood with no traffic noise in a very peaceful area . A perfect spot that really is hard to beat.
A spacious 2500 sq. ft. two story house. On top, a lookout patio with stairway and downstairs a covered patio with bbq. Washer and dryer in unit, another full laundry room on site. Free Private parking close by to the unitfor easy access. An area with beach and snorkle gear. Our neighborhood is away from the main highway, up a little hill in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with no traffic noise, yet just minutes walking to all oftown. The surrounding banyan and ficus trees give you a feeling like you could be in a tropical jungle, yet you’re right in town. This truly is a perfect spot being as close to town to walk everywhere, yet there is zero traffic. Please enjoy and see for yourself! Aloha!

This was our third golf trip to kona and also our third time renting here. Things couldnt have gone smoother. We also just happened to have the misfortune of staying here just as hurricane lala appeared. We had no electricity but the propane gas grill provided was a god send. We had a very happy night of grilled steaks in the dark i will definitely continue to stay here in my future trips to kona

The house was perfect for our family gathering if 12 and centrally located. Very nice and well kept home with lots of room. Friendly neighbors around and lots to do around town.

The host was absolutely lovely. The property was listed as air conditioned and maybe my bad for not looking at the detail below. The description should state clearly no AC in bedrooms. We do poorly in the heat, the portable A/C units, which cannot be moved, made the living/dining area tolerable but still warm. The bedrooms, even with windows/ doors open and fans on was just too hot. The low was 80 degrees and we couldn’t sleep. The host sent the check in instructions at the last minute, which I guess was ok, but sent the check out instructions check out and we were already gone. The kitchen had a great deal of spices/seasonings which was appreciated. The downstairs set up was a bit weird, one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through the bathroom. During our stay, the other downstairs toilet wasn’t working so that left a bit weird of a situation for the person in the bedroom that needed to exit through the bathroom. True, we could have gone upstairs, but the heat was worse there, and climbing up the stairs in the middle of the night wouldn’t have worked for my elderly parents. It is a large unit and could easily fit 2 families.

Great family Getaway

We had a great stay in Kona- 3 families (6 adults) with kids from 18 months to 10. The location was very convenient to everything and the host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great stay…well stocked!!

We are 3 families wide range of ages and the 2 levels with ample living and sleeping space. Highly recommended rental.

Great Place to Stay with the whole family.

Our stay was great. It was frustrating at the start to not have an address. Once we got there, the accommodations worked great for our whole family.

We love the space in the house for all of us to have our own rooms for reasonable price. The owners are responsive and look out for us. We like the grill and ability to prepare our own meals. Close to grocery store to replenish supplies.

Kona House

The property was great and the host was very nice. She provided some Christmas decorations and we had fun decorating. Hawaii is very beautiful and the house was in a good location. Loved it. We all had a great time.

Great house

We were a group of 10 and this house was great for us. We had plenty of room for everyone and it was close to shopping, beaches and a beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this house

Friends' vacation

We had plenty of private and communal space to rest and hang out with each other. We like being so close to town, so we don't always have to drive each time we went out.

Perfect for our group

This was the perfect fit for our group of two families. Each floor had a different kitchen and living area. The house was clean and within walking distance to fun restaurants and stores. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Kona Getaway

We had a great time at the Downtown Gem. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and main street in Kona. The area around the unit is a little run down but the house itself is great. Perfect for a large group.

Great Stay

Perfect home for our family of 10. Great location-10-15 min walk to restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Beach towels, beach toys and coolers are provided. The kids loved the boogie boards! Quiet neighborhood. We would definitely book this home again.

Perfect for the whole family

Huge house with room enough for our entire extended family (7 adults and 3 kids). The upstairs living room was very airy and comfortable. Lots of room for people to spread out and not be on top of each other in between excursions. Very close to downtown.

Wonderful location and beautiful house!! Had all we needed and plenty of room!!

This house was great!! It went above and beyond our expectations. There is plenty of room for everyone and two kitchens!! We enjoyed staying here very much and hope to be back. Jeri and her managers were extremely helpful. The house is gorgeous and decorated wonderfully. We felt right at home here.

Hillside home

This property was perfect for us, our adult children & our grandchildren. We walked down to the pier each of the evenings that we were in Kona to view the beautiful sunsets. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away & restaurants downtown.

In accommodating so many thousands of guests through the years, we notice that many keep all the windows closed. I would just like to clarify, that in Hawaii it is accustomed to open windows to let the cool Hawaiian breeze flow through the house. And along with ceiling and floor fans throughout the house, it then blows that cool air all throughout. As for the comment about walking distances. We have checked multiple times doing multiple routes, and we are just under 15 minutes walking to all of downtown and to a beautiful swimming beach. My young children and family do it all the time. You do have to enjoy walking, although some guests do feel it challenging and takes them longer. It really is a pleasant stroll to town, yet located in a no traffic noise and peaceful neighborhood. A perfect spot! Hope this review doesn’t deter and guests. See you in paradise, this truly is the perfect location to be at and won’t be disappointed. Aloha!

We love the location close to town, where the beach is just a few minutes walking distance. Shops and restaurants are endless fun, and the Farmer's Market provides local fruits and vegetables, flowers, and local gift shopping.

If you’re looking for a location in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with zero traffic and town noise, yet just a quick walk to all of the city, you will not find anything better than this. The view from the upper floor is beautiful, with the blue water sunsets, and with a classic view of the mountainside as well. The covered downstairs patio is a place to be outside with privacy. It is a nice cool, quiet, hilltop compound, where you can relax with your group, and also have the convenience to do your own thing and walk to Starbucks, McDonald’s, or the bowling alley, and all restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very quiet with lots of shade. It is a very unique place, which made us fall in love with it!!
