Short stay

Very nice place to stay, well located for beech ,and Hunstanton, Heacham we really enjoyed are stay and would go back .

Lovely stay

This is one of the best places in Holme next the sea, wonderful location you can walk to the beach and reserve.dishwasher, plenty hot water,nice and warm , everything you need.it’s not modern but it’s clean and suits us, would recommend, good communication from owner, will stay again.

We had a lovely few days at 'Lavenders'. It was just right for a short break away with our three granddaughters, who loved having a beach they could walk to from the house and spent many happy hours playing in the surf. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and the welcome milk in the fridge was great for a cup of tea when we arrived. The girls said their beds were comfortable, though there was some arguing over who was going to have the top bunk! The house was generally clean and tidy. Thanks for a lovely stay

Lavenders

Fabulous break; recommend the property fully. Close to a variety of beaches and lots of things to do in the area. A lovely family holiday.

Beautiful clean well equipped bungalow in perfect location

Had such a lovely time at Lavenders it was clean and well equipped property . It really felt like home where we could all relax. The garden space and outlook was perfect for us all with the added benefit of having the beach and beautiful walks within walking distance. We had an age range of between 10 years- 67 years and everyone of our group had an amazing time thank you

Well equipped cottage near quiet beach

Had a really relaxed short break here. Cottage was well equipped. Really enjoyed the very peaceful garden and proximity to quiet beach. Beds and easy chairs not the most comfortable, and house wasn't spotlessly clean, but in spite of that we would like to return

Away from it all

Stayed at the Lavenders, Holme, with husband, mum in law and pet spaniel. Such a fabulous location for us all - especially the dog. The proximity of the beach and walks from the house meant we could leave the car keys to one side and really relax. The nearby pub was great although a limited and quite pricey menu. Other than a bit more sunshine we had everything we needed….even some wildlife in the beautiful garden! With just 1 bathroom, a full house of guests could be a struggle.

A true "find"

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we were going to have a great time at the Lavenders. It is unpretentious (some might call it a bit old fashioned) but so cosy and very homely. The kitchen was so well equipped and absolutely everything in and around the bungalow is organised with the holiday makers' needs in mind. The location is perfect. We loved staying there and will be going back.

Holiday cottage ‘ Lavenders’.

Lovely location . Desperately needs modernising and also a further bathroom . No mirrors in any of the bedrooms. Had to sit in the hall to do hair, makeup etc. Oven appeared dirty also hidden corners not clean. Garden was well kept but in no way dog proof. On the positive side the property had good heating facilities plus plenty of hot water . Kitchen was well equipped. Repairs were actioned quickly.

A very special location and position in the village. A light and bright bungalow.

We love Nth Norfolk and would love to own this lovely bungalow and give it some TLC. The garden was not secure enough for us to risk our hound and terrier off lead in ( chkn wire in bottom of long hedge boundaries) but OK for some dogs it seems and it was a lovely garden with wildlife visiting. Generally clean just a bit grubby in parts, maybe some things need more deep cleaning. We cleaned some things on arrival and it felt and smelt better than when we arrived. Guess we all have different standards, a left over bit of burnt on Indian meal in roof of microwave didn't help😝and that will have been the fault of a previous disrespectful guest. A very comfy bed and clean bedding. Biscuits, tea, coffee,sugar condiments cleaning stuff etc were provided if needed. Dined at village pub twice, prices very reasonable. A very special peaceful holiday with fab walks from the door, thankyou.

A very suitable property for our extended family stay. Lovely garden and all well equipped for adults and children. Really wished the VBRO website worked on my android devices.

Excellent Bungalow

Very comfortable bungalow.Peaceful location with a visit from a muntjack deer on our first day.Our dogs loved the large well kept garden and settled in straight away..The beach is 10 minute walk and some charming coastal towns and villages within easy reach by car.. David is an excellent and helpful host. We would definitely return.

LAVENDERS

Lovely bungalow and garden. Spacious and well appointed, furnished and decorated. Dog-friendly garden which was a huge bonus. We had a very happy and relaxing holiday.

I wish I could stay longer

This property is exactly the break my sister & I needed. So peaceful…all we could hear was the odd golf shot & the birds. 10 min walk from the beach. Lovely walks in the beach with my dog. I just wish we could have stayed longer. I will return in the future.

Great location for a peaceful holiday

This house is 5 mins walk from an amazing huge beach and 10 mins walk from a lovely pub. The village is super quiet but just a short drive from hunstanton. It was perfect for a relaxing break with our dog. The garden was perfect for her and we could let her roam around without worrying about her escaping which was great! The garden was a real plus for this property - it would be great to come back in the summer so we can take full advantage of it! We loved our holiday at Holme - thanks David!

Peaceful

Me, my husband and our 2 dogs Oscar and Poppy had a lovely peaceful stay. Everything we needed was there and beautiful walks from the door. The garden was lovely, with lots of birds and a visit from a beautiful muntjac deer. Perfect 😊

Next to the beach

Cozy , clean and warm. Excellent facilities . 1 min walk to beach and Norfolk sea wall. You can walk to Hunstanton cafe shops in 20 mins . Pub with excellent food walking distance from bungalow . A great place to have a break next to the coast .

Lovely Bungalow

Enjoyed our stay at Lavenders, Fantastic location, Clean ,Comfortable really warm and cosy, had great weather, felt relaxed and homely. Will definitely stay again , loved the birds and wildlife. Thankyou excellent host , good communication.
