We had an amazing stay at this villa. The solitude and tranquility were lovely and seeing and hearing the goats and sheep in the distance on their daily walk was something we really looked forward to.The owners communicationnwas quick, concise and useful. A real 5* experience in a lovely part of Crete. I would highly recommend staying here

Amazing location with incredible views. The pool was brilliant and the property had good facilities, even a couple of family games to use during bad weather. We had a sand storm during our stay that knocked out the WiFi, but our host was helpful and efficient at sorting it out quickly. We had a great stay and would love to visit again.

Peaceful Paradise

Such a beautiful house in very well maintained gardens with large pool. Amazing views in every direction. We completely relaxed and barely dragged ourselves away from the pool. Great BBQ facilities and everything you need for an amazing relaxing holiday. Cannot fault it.

Lovely peaceful villa out of the way down a bumpy track (car essential!) Vultures circling overheard, butterflies and goat bells. Beautiful views of sea and mountains. Kitchen well equipped, comfortable lounge with everything you need if the weather is not perfect. There are loud cats that want to be fed. Lovely pool and outside space as well as balconies. We had a very relaxing stay. Our only criticism is that some of the bedrooms are quite musty smelling and very dusty - could do with a deep clean.

Pure bliss off the beaten track

Perfect view of sea and mountains off the beaten track. Bit tricky to find but well worth it. The villa had everything you need and the manager responded to queries very quickly over WhatsApp . It was lovely waking up to the sound of the sheep and goats running past with their little bells. A car is a must and there’s lots to do in surrounding areas. Such a lovely holiday

A graet week in a wonderful Villa

We had a great week in this wonderful villa.we had holiday with our family of five adults and there was enough place to all. We enjoyed the pool and the view you have from the house. Everything was nice and clean, and we got quick answer from the owner if we had some questions. The directions to the villa, the owner send in advance, was very detailed and we had no problems to find the villa. Super. We can highly recommend this accommodation

We spent 10 days in Pon's villa. We really enjoyed it. The view, the peace and quiet, the landscape and especially the pool. Our children had a lot of fun jumping into the pool and swimming every day. The pool is a great size, so we could play and swim in together. Pon was always helpful, no matter what. Relaxing Holiday

If you want a quiet, relaxing, first class holiday, this is for you. Lovely, well equipped Villa, superb infinity pool, really well kept gardens and absolutely fantastic views over the bay and the mountains. You need a car as the Villa is at the end of a 900 meter dirt track but that has its advantages as there is no passing traffic except maybe the goats and sheep! There are local tavernas and mini market but if you are prepared to go a little further afield there are lots of beaches, restaurants and shops within easy reach. We had a superb holiday and would not hesitate to go back (travel restrictions allowing)

Great place for a relaxing holiday

The villa is a bit remote, but a great place. We took a few days just to stay there and relax in this beautiful place with wonderful view to the sea and the mountains. But all the sights in the west of Crete are also in good distance; we hiked the Samaria Gorge, made a beach trip to Elafonisi, visited the monastery Arkadi and the nearby beautiful Chania. In the house everything was perfect, the pool very refreshing and the terrace an awesome place to relax. The communication with our host Pon was always quick and very friendly, the access no problem with detailed pictures and description. Small supermarkets and nice tavernas are within a short drive. If we come back to Crete some day, we'll definetely return here!

We had the most wonderful stay at this exclusive villa in Kefalas. The location is breath-taking – with panoramic views of the sea and the White Mountains that changed beautifully throughout the day. The villa itself is private, peaceful, and has a true home-from-home feel, with everything you need to settle in comfortably. The pool was a great size and got lots of use! Fantastic BBQ area too. Our host was outstanding – always available, incredibly helpful, and made everything so easy for us. We especially loved the little touches of local life, like hearing the goats in the mornings and evenings, which made the experience even more memorable.Local amenities are just a short drive into the village, and beaches like Almirida, Kalives, and Georgioupoli are an easy drive away. Chania airport was also very convenient, about 45 minutes.We couldn’t recommend this villa more highly – it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for comfort, peace, and views that you’ll never forget.

Stunning location

The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday.

Very quietly located spacious villa with great views and nice pool

During our stay of only 2 days we enjoyed the villa and the surroundings. The villa is accessible via a dirt road, so nice and secluded but still reasonably close to a small village. If you like peace and quiet, this villa is highly recommended. Because the villa was already fully booked on the other days, we could unfortunately only stay here for 2 days. Otherwise we would have liked to have stayed here longer. The contact with Pon, the host, was very pleasant. If we had to mention a point of criticism it is that after the booking it turned out that an amount had to be paid extra because the stay was shorter than 4 days, which was not apparent from the description on the website, but this will probably be a shortcoming of the platform. Maybe this could be added to Vrbo's website.

The Perfect Villa

We chose this villa based on the amazing reviews from previous guests - and now we'll add our own. The location of the Villa is perfect high on the cliffs looking out over the sea. It feels remote, but it is only two minutes from Kefalas with a couple of tavernas and a mini market and 20 minutes drive from Georgioupoli and Almyrida with more amenities. The villa and grounds are both of a good size, with a superb infinity pool and the BBQ house/outdoor kitchen is a great addition. Being so high up, there was a cooling breeze to keep the edge off the heat as well which was a bonus. We could have spent all week at the Villa but there are plenty of lovely beaches and swim/snorkelling spots within easy reach - Octopus Bay was the best for a snorkel. It goes without saying a hire car is needed here and the track is rough but entirely manageable if you take it slowly. Communication with Pon was simple and easy, he helpfully advised where we could hire a boat (Antonis in Almyrida), the best supermarket etc. and directions were detailed and very helpful. Overall we had an amazing week in the most amazing Villa, thank you Pon!

I'll start by saying that the views from this Villa are very beautiful. To find the Villa, use google maps! The roads are very rocky but if you have a bigger vehicle, you should be fine. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our visit, so we weren't able to use the pool at all. This is something that can't be controlled but when booking because of the pool, make sure to come during the summer season. Hopefully the host will consider making the pool a heated pool so guests who come when it's cold, can still enjoy the pool. For cleanliness, I expected it to be cleaner. For example, the tablecloth on the dining table was very dirty. We tried cleaning it but ended up just taking it off during our stay. The towels we were given were very old and stained (they were once white but looked grey), I would have appreciated some newer and cleaner towels. Although this is true, the host was very considerate as they provided a crib and highchair for my one year old, which made things a lot easier. One thing I really wasn't happy with, was the internet. This was an extra fee which I didn't think was fair and it wasn't great and only worked when you were downstairs. I'm sure the villa is more enjoyable during the summer, but all in all, this Villa was beautiful, but it could benefit from some upgrades and changes like new games, a heated pool, new towels and a binder that gave all the information and instructions you would need during the stay.

Home needs some love, outside view and pool are lovely

A beautiful view with a great outside patio. With that being said the inside of the home was dirty and smelly. There were ants in the kitchen and while watching TV an error message kept appearing, something about the wireless adapter. All channels were in German. Again, we loved the outside pool, view and grill area but inside of the home needs some work. Owner called me the day of making reservation and asked how many people were staying. Upon answering he said he has to charge extra for additional cleaning services. I did not understand this explanation as cleaning services are already included in the cost of the rental. After researching this same home for different dates with 4 guests, the price did not change. Had the home inside been cleaner, maintained and without insects we would have been much happier with our stay.

séjour idyllique en Crête

Nous y étions en avril. Un accueil très sympathique de la part du propriétaire et de son équipe; une villa très agréable, bien conçue, décorée avec goût; une piscine tout à fait conforme; un petit jardin coquet; un paysage merveilleux, au milieu de la nature, des chèvres et des moutons; un petit village très sympathique avec des habitants très accueillants, à quelque minutes de la villa; des petits restos typiques; des visites à faire à ne plus savoir que choisir. Schöne Villa mit Pool und toller Meer-Sicht

Hübsche und geräumige Villa mit drei Terrassen und grossem gepflegten Garten. Von zwei Seiten aus hat man eine überwältigenden Blick auf die Almyra Bucht und die Berge. Der Pool ist gross genug zum Schwimmen und sehr gepflegt. Die Villa liegt etwas ausserhalb von Kefalas, so dass Privatsphäre garantiert ist und dennoch Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorliegen. Ein Auto ist allerdings unverzichtbar. Die Gegend ist abwechslungsreich, man ist schnell an schönen Stränden, pittoresken und ursprünglichen Dörfern oder in grösseren Ortschaften wie Rethymno, Georgiopolis, Chania. Auch Tagesausflüge an die Südküste sind gut möglich. Wir waren zu zweit in der Villa und können sie absolut weiter empfehlen, auch für Familien und Gruppen! Das Essen in der Gegend ist phantastisch und es gibt viele kulturelle und archäologische Stätten zu besuchen.

Die Villa in atembraubender Lage ist ein sehr schön aufgeteiltes Gebäude mit eigener Sonnenterasse für jedes der drei Schlafzimmer. Alles ist war sauber und vor allem gemütlich. Bei der Einrichtung hat es uns in unseren zwei Wochen an nichts gefehlt. Pool und Terrasse mit Blick über fantastischem die Bucht waren für uns Großstädter eine tägliche Sensation.Die Anfahrt zur Villa gleicht eher einer Geländesafarie, wenn man zum ersten Mal hinfährt sollte man unbedingt bei Tageslicht ankommen. Achtung: FEWO-direkt hat uns eine falsche Adresse der Villa gemailt, die Informationen zur Anfahrt, die der Besitzer Pon versendet, waren hingegen korrekt und hilfreich. Darüber hinaus hat sich Pon als sehr netter und zugverlässlicher Vermieter gezeigt: Immer erreichbar, immer geduldig. Alles top!

Was für eine großartige Unterkunft. Sehr ruhig gelegen (man hört nur morgens und abends die vorbeilaufenden Schafe und Ziegen) und ein grandioser Ausblick aufs Meer, die Küste und die Berge. Das Haus selber ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Betten fanden wir bequem und die Balkone an jedem Schlafzimmer waren auch toll. Und der tolle Pool ist natürlich auch ein Highlite. Die Umgebung und die angrenzenden Dörfer haben uns sehr gut gefallen, wenig Tourismus und wir fanden viele tolle Tavernen in der Nähe (keine Touristenfallen). Natürlich ist ein Auto in der Abgeschiedenheit Pflicht, Schotterzufahrt zum Haus konnte problemlos befahren werden trotz vorherigem Regen und Unwetter. Chania und Rethymno sind in unter 1 Stunde erreichbar. Etwas Planung erfordert der Einkauf, wir empfehlen einen Großeinkauf bei Lidl auf dem Hinweg vom Flughafen (z.B. hinter Rethymno), ansonsten sind nur sehr kleine Läden in der Nähe.Pon, der Gastgeber, war auch großartig. Sehr netter und guter Kontakt via WhatsApp, wir hatten 2 Problem, die wurden innerhalb von einer 1/2 Stunde von ihm gelöst/geklärt. Beim Ausfall des Warmwassers war ein Techniker innerhalb von einer 1/2 Stunde vor Ort und hat alles repariert. Noch nie so einen guten Service in einem Ferienhaus gehabt. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf dieser Finca! Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft und das gesamte Anwesen wunderschön. Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich, und der Pool war wirklich der absolute Knaller – perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen.Der Vermieter war bei Fragen und Problemen jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns beispielsweise bei einem Problem mit der Kaffeemaschine schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Vielen Dank an Pon für alles!Ein kleines Manko ist die Anfahrt zur Finca, da der Weg teilweise sehr steinig und holprig ist. Außerdem war ein Zimmer für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da das Bett recht hart war.Alles in allem können wir die Finca aber absolut empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Nächstes Jahr kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Bezüglich der Matratze haben wir Verständnis dafür, dass der persönliche Schlafkomfort sehr unterschiedlich sein kann. Manche Gäste bevorzugen eine weichere Matratze, während andere lieber auf einer festeren Matratze schlafen. Wir wissen Ihr Feedback sehr zu schätzen und berücksichtigen die Anmerkungen unserer Gäste stets bei der Pflege und weiteren Verbesserung unserer Villa. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa idéalement située si on aime le calme. La vue est splendide et le propriétaire est très serviable. Nous n'avons rien à reprocher si ce n'est que le séjour était trop court.

Wir hatten einen absolut traumhaften Urlaub in dieser Villa in der Region Chania. Das Haus liegt malerisch auf einem Berg mit atemberaubendem Meerblick. Ein tägliches Highlight war der Sonnenaufgang, den man direkt vom Balkon des Hauptschlafzimmers aus über dem Wasser beobachten kann. Jedes der 3 Schlafzimmer besitzt einen eigenen Balkon und eine Klimaanlage, genau wie der Wohnbereich. Die zwei Bäder sind super ausgestattet, eines davon mit Waschmaschine. Auch in der Küche fehlt es an nichts: Sie bietet eine Spülmaschine sowie einen riesigen Kühlschrank samt großem Gefrierfach. Draußen erwartet einen eine riesige Terrasse mit einem Tisch unter einer angenehmen Lamellen-Verschattung. Direkt daneben steht ein kleines Haus als Außenküche mit einem gemauerten Kohlegrill. Der Garten ist gepflegt und blüht wunderschön. Der riesige, saubere Pool wurde unter der Woche nochmals gereinigt. Auf der Terrasse gibt es ausreichend Sonnenliegen. Morgens und abends sieht man die süßen Ziegen direkt hinter dem Grundstück grasen. Am Pool trinken ab und zu Wespen, die uns aber völlig in Ruhe gelassen haben, und manchmal schaut eine verschmuste Katze vorbei. Ein Auto ist nötig, doch Lebensmittelläden, Tavernen, Metzgereien und Strand sind schnell erreicht. Ein riesiges Dankeschön gilt dem Vermieter Pon für seine außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit, sehr gute Erreichbarkeit und absolute Hilfsbereitschaft! Auch z.B. durch den extrem großzügigen späten Check-out am Abreisetag! Wir kommen wieder!!!!!!!!!
