This review mentions a shower curtain which is strange because the cottage does not have a shower. We are fortunate in that the vast majority of guests report high levels of comfort in all regards with this cottage. However, during colder periods we can expect some condensation on the windows. The cottage is well ventilated dispelling moisture quickly. Please be aware that this cottage dates back to the 16th century. This is not a modern property; it is a traditional Cornish cottage which was neither built nor designed to be a sealed, sterile dwelling. Built in the days when fishing was a life priority it is a living, breathing piece of history with flagstone floors, beams, wood-burning stove and thick, solid stone walls.
