Secluded Villa with heated private pool and far-reaching sea views

Casa Udi is an old and rustic refurbished Finca set on a beautiful plot overlooking vine terraces with views across to the sea, some 4km away. It's an excellent family hideaway, with its own private pool (8 x 4m), a large terrace with a lovely outdoor shower, natural shade, and superb far-reaching views. A charming, traditional and cosy retreat. "You have a truly wonderful, peaceful, picturesque and beautiful home! Oh and the scenery, beautiful!"

Important:
We do not have a barbecue, as there have been wildfires in the hot summer months.
There is no television or radio

There is no air conditioning. Please respect the rule about your own portable air conditioning as this will affect your security deposit.

Please note: In the summer months, we book Saturday to Saturday only.
The pool is only heated out of season from the end of September to mid-May.
There is an additional charge for heating the pool.
The drive up to the house is very steep.

Fantastic house with amazing view

The property was really nice with an amazing view, very peaceful and the swimming pool was great. Location is just perfect next to everything, 10 minutes from supermarket and about 15 minutes from all beaches. We really enjoyed our stay. We recommend this house. Thanks Nick for everything.

What a view

Not your average villa, this old farmhouse has bags of character, is very well equipped and has an amazing view down the valley to the sea.

It is a fantastic private atmosphere in that old and smart little house in the middle of nothing but not far away of everything! A beautyful view! And you feel like visiting private friends with that personell interieur !!!

A little bit of paradise

This has been my third visit, and I'm missing it already. The house is rustic, but that's what I love. It has all the essentials, wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, so you can still travel light. If you want a holiday to escape the noises & stresses of modern day living, this house is like medicine. Yet it's a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Moraira with the sea, shops & restaurants. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

We just loved it!

Beautifully located at the top of a valley with distant sea views and a breeze blowing in to cool you down on the hottest of days. Total privacy and seclusion which is what I wanted to get away from it all. Spacious villa with a small single room and a single bed in an alcove downstairs and 2 giant bedrooms up stairs, both with a double and single bed within. Glorious generous sized pool with a wonderful view was a jewel to have. Nick the owner couldn’t have been more helpful with communication and advice. All in all just wonderful.

A quiet and relaxing hideaway!

This year we wanted to treat the family to a well earned break and to celebrate the finishing of school for both our children! Well, Casa Udi was the perfect place to do this and everyone, even the teenagers, found it to be the perfect holiday! The villa is set in a quiet and beautiful location, amongst vineyards and a scattering of other properties. It is very private and not overlooked. I would recommend a car for convenience and to explore the local area and beaches, particularly El Portet at Moraira and Granadella nearby for an early morning dip! Local markets or supermarkets close by when needed. The pool was a godsend due to the high temperatures and well maintained and clean and we did our best to keep the pine needles out as a welcome gentle breeze picked up during the day. The villa is very comfortable and simply fitted out ( as fincas should be) but extremely functional and well equipped! We were very hot at night as the temperature didn't drop much so glad to have plenty of fans available. Nick, the owner, was brilliant and kindly phoned before we left to make some recommendations for our stay! All of his advice was spot on and made for an even better stay. He is an excellent communicator and responded promptly to any queries we had. All in all it really was a fantastic, relaxing, scenic and comfortable stay in a beautiful part of Spain and highly recommended! Certainly plan to return but maybe earlier or later Summer months. Thank you Nick for sharing Casa Udi with us - it is a gem!

Tranquila

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos cerca de todo pero sin ruidos, relajados, fresquitos. Una gran cocina y un gran patio para pasar unos días en familia y la zona fantástica.

Wir waren geblendet von den vielen positiven Bewertungen, die wir nicht so nachvollziehen können. Der Vermieter Nick hat sich alle Mühe gegeben, war immer erreichbar und die Kommunikation war gut. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war Mega. Die Piniennadeln im Pool waren sehr nervig. Sonnenhungrige sollten beachten da? der Pool sehr schattig ist und in der zweiten Urlaubswoche nur 20 Grad Wassertemperatur hatte da es mit der versprochenen Wasserheizung nicht so ernst genommen wurde. Das Grundstück ist schwer einsehbar so dass man sich auch nackt sonnen kann. Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig, enge Straße mit Gras welches das Auto zerkratzt, steile Auffahrt. Die Fliegengitter waren nicht dicht da sie schlecht befestigt sind. Das Haus roch stickig und ein durchlüften war kaum möglich da es in jedem Raum nur ein Fliegengitter gab. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal. Der zweite Schlüssel war nicht vorhanden. Im Haus selbst führt eine etwas steilere Treppe zu den Schlafräumen und die Stufen sind größer als normal. Auf dem Weg zum Bad stößt man sich gern mal den Kopf wenn man wie ich über 1,8 Meter groß ist. Die Durchgangshöhe beträgt ca. 1,77 Meter. Es gibt weder Fernsehen noch Radio. Die Sauberkeit war schlecht. Spinnweben, dreckige Polsterüberwürfe der Sofas, verschmutze Schränke, schmutzige Stuhlauflage, dreckiges Geschirr. Waldschaben und Ameisen. Alle Gasflaschen leer. Der Vermieter Nick bat mich eine Gasflasche zu kaufen. Die Unkosten wurden nicht wie versprochen überwiesen.

Nous avons vraiment passé de très belles vacances en famille et avons pleinement profité de notre séjour à proximité de Moraira.Ce séjour a été particulièrement spécial pour nous, car cela fait maintenant plus de 23 ans que nous connaissons Moraira et ses alentours. Revenir dans cette région nous a permis de revivre de très beaux souvenirs de mon enfance et de partager de magnifiques moments en famille.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces deux semaines passées tous ensemble, à profiter simplement du temps en famille, à nous retrouver et à créer de nouveaux souvenirs.Ce fut un séjour très agréable, reposant et rempli de beaux moments que nous garderons tous précieusement en mémoire.

Rustieke woning met een geweldige en goed onderhouden zwembad omringd door pijnbomen. Voor wie van rust houdt en geniet van de natuur is dit een ideale plek. Je hoort de vogels, de krekels, de wind,.. en er zijn geen naaste buren. Nick is een goede gastheer en stuurt je tijdig de juiste informatie over het huis en de ligging. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien: koelkast met vriezer, vaatwasser, wasmachine, oven, waterkoker, broodrooster. Op het terras heb je genoeg zit en ligplekken rondom het zwembad. En een goede internetverbinding.Vanuit het huis zie je Moraira en Calpe liggen en zoals op de foto’s ook de zee.Je kan naar het dorpje Poble Nou de Benitatxell in 15 minuten wandelen als je niet elke dag met de auto op pad wilt. Casa Udi is zeker een aanrader!

Cette villa rustique a répondu à toutes nos attentes! L'emplacement est parfait, au calme tout en étant proche de tout. (Commerces, plages, etc...). La piscine est incroyable, et la maison offre le nécessaire pour un séjour des plus agréables.

Très belle villa cosy et originale. Belle piscine et la terrasse est accueillante. Les petits déjeuners avec cette vue... Juste magnifique. Pas très loin de Moraira et des plages alentours.

Très beu séjour !

Le cadre de la maison est parfait pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. Il n’y a pas de vis à vis ni de voisins proches ce qui rend cet emplacement très paisible. Les commerces sont à proximité en voiture. Seuls bémols, il n’y a pas de barbecue et la wifi ne fonctionne pas de façon régulière.

Ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, privater Pool!

Das Haus ist schön gelegen in den Weinbergen. Dadurch ist es schön ruhig dort. Die ganze Familie hat vor allem den Pool sehr genossen, sogar abends noch mit den Lichtern gebadet. Verschiedene Strände waren auch nicht weit mit dem Auto entfernt. Super zum abschalten und einfach nur Urlaub machen.

Mooi huis op een fantastische plek

Vergeleken met de gebruikelijke accommodaties in dit gebied is dit een uniek huis. Geheel vrij gelegen, 100% privacy, met vanaf het terras prachtig uitzicht op zee. Naast strand en zee (op enkele kilometers afstand) ook volop mogelijkheden voor meer of minder uitdagende wandelingen. Een aanrader.

Casa Udi

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette maison rustique et charmante dotée d'une très belle piscine. Le spectacle depuis la terrasse est époustouflant: les vignes, les montagnes et la mer... Il ne passe presque personne sur la petite route au pied du jardin, on n'entend que les cigales! Ce n'est pas à proprement parler une côte de plages, l'accès à la mer se fait par de petites criques (galets ou rochers) enserrées entre les falaises; grosse affluence en été... Malgré ce détail et l'urbanisation souvent désastreuse à proximité des côtes, c'est une belle région au climat très doux. La destination idéale pour une semaine de farniente!

Très jolie villa, calme et vue magnifique

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à la Casa Udi. Les explications et la disponibilité de Nick ont été parfaites... tout s'est fait a distance, de manière très professionnelle. On regrette juste de ne pas avoir fait sa connaissance et n'avoir vu personne pendant notre séjour. La maison est parfaite pour passer une semaine dans la région : calme et magnifique vue sur la montagne et la mer... propice au repos et à une totale déconnection. Les repas et la sieste à l'ombre du pin... parfaits. La maison est mignonne et authentique, aménagée dans une ancienne ferme ou bergerie, lui donnant un certain charme. Une très jolie piscine pour couronner le tout. Les enfants se sont éclatés et nous avons pu profiter de bains en toute tranquillité, nageant avec une jolie vue sur la mer au loin ! Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir à la Cada Udi si on revient dans la région.
