Villa sleeps six in three bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. The villa has its own private pool in a large and secluded patio area with a poolside pergola and additional terrace gardens. The villa is on three levels, the master bedroom on the upper level with own private balcony. On the ground level is the open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas leading to the pool and patio area. On the lower ground level are two ensuite bedrooms one double and one twin, both with access to the lower garden terrace and patio area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. Very spacious with everything you could possibly need available. Pool area was excellent with lovely areas to enjoy both sun and shade. The house manager attended to the garden and pool daily and kindly organised water refills for us. Easy walk into the old town and market area Taxi back up only 250 lira. Would definitely return. We had a fabulous stay. Thanks Amanda.

Lovely villa ,great size for all the family , very clean and well kept as , all 3 bedrooms with un suite bathrooms ,perfect size pool , amazing views , close to shops and restaurants down a few steep slopes , ok for the active , harder walk back but plenty of taxis available in town .

Amazing villa

We are very regular visitors to Kalkan and have stayed in some beautiful villas but this one was special. 3 great sized comfortable, air conditioned bedrooms each with en suite and outdoor space with amazing views. We had the best, relaxing time and would gladly rebook in the future.

Great location with amazing views

We had a very comfortable week in July staying at the villa. Lovely pool and outlook. The location is a 5 min walk down and your in the centre where all the shops & restaurants are, it is a very steep walk down and we did get a taxi back, cost was 80 Lira about £2.80. We would definitely stay at the villa again.

Convenient location

A lovely villa in a great location. The villa does not have parking on the property as stated in the listing - we parked at the top of the road and walked down from there, it’s very steep but very easy as there is a sidewalk. The villa is clean, neat and has everything you need for a relaxing week in the sun!

Fantastic villa, plenty of space. Great pool and outside area. Short walk to the village but very steep hills. Flat shoes and a good knees needed. Communication from villa manager was excellent. We had a power cut part way through the holiday and Zeki was with us within 30 mins to sort it out.

Lovely

Had a great time at the villa. It is up a steep hill (which we already knew from the other reviews) but it is VERY steep..! Views were stunning from the pool / patio and master bedroom. Very clean and nice villa in general. Host was very communicative and good.

Wonderful villa in a beautiful setting

Hi Amanda, Just to say that we have thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful week at your villa in Kalkan and will definitely be planning to return. Thank you very much for everything. We particularly enjoyed the Korsan Meze, The Fountain Bar and Wapiano for drinks and eating out. The Yildiz boats are excellent for gulet trips and there are numerous turtles in the bay, we swam with them often, just wonderful.

First trip to Kalkan

The villa and pool were amazing and location was good as 10 min into the beautiful town . Very steep walk in and we taxied back each night (approx £3.50) The beach clubs are good and reasonable with free water taxi’s - there is no beach but want missed as we had the pool and beach club you can go straight into a very warm sea - highly recommend the villa as perfect

Wonderful Family Holiday Villa in Fabulous Town

The villa exceeded all our expectations; after a long day travelling the view was enough to lift all our spirits! We never tired of it, it was spellbinding. The villa was a real home from home set in a real gem of a resort, we all absolutely loved Kalkan and the surrounding area. So much to do and see, we only scratched the surface. Beautiful view and great location

The view across Kalkan Bay from the infinity pool and terrace was amazing. It really adds to the experience of being able to gaze out on it without lifting a finger. It was only a few minutes walk down the hill into the old town with all the great restaurants and lovely atmosphere. Like all of Kalkan, you generally get a taxi back up but these are cheap and plentiful. It's a good set up for our family of 5 (3 teenagers and 2 adults), as the kids could have their own area and patio on the lower floor. All in all, it was a perfect villa and location for our family holiday.

Kalkan - Short Visit

We are old timers when it comes to Kalkan, having been coming back for many many years - it’s a place we love. The town and facilities are fantastic, restaurants are great (don’t always look to eat in town - restaurants towards Kalimar are also great). We booked last minute this year and ended up being above the main road that goes around the town, we were expecting to have to use taxis a lot but were really surprised at how close this Billa is to the town, less than 10 minutes walking. That said, a taxi home is a must as it’s very steeply uphill. The Villa was great, had all you would want, was quiet and had plenty of outdoor shade / seating. Would book again

Beautiful villa with a stunning view!

My family and I (three daughters age 15,15 and 11yrs) thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Kalkan. The villa was spotlessly clean and has the most stunning view of the bay. Truly breath-taking. The pool and garden is so well maintained and managed by Zeki who visited early each morning so as not to disturb us. There is also a resident tortoise that my daughters enjoyed feeding. The walk to the town is via a very steep hill, however this was managed each evening by my parents (75/78yrs) with a short taxi home. Amanda was a fantastic host with great communication and villa notes well in advance of our holiday and also helpfully booked our transfer. I would highly recommend this villa and would love to return one day.

Fantastic stay!

We had an absolutely brilliant 11 nights at this beautiful villa. The house is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. Each bedroom is ensuite and there is air-conditioning throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need.The pool area with pergola is a great comfortable place to relax in with plenty of shade. The views from here and the upstairs balcony are the real stars of the show, absolutely jaw-dropping! It's an easy walk downhill to get to Kalkan old town and it's many fantastic restaurants and beach clubs. It's also very easy to get a taxi back up the hill from either of the 2 main taxi ranks at any time of day and costs 200TL (approx 3.70). Communication with Marina and Zeki (the housekeeper) was very easy and always answered straight away. Check in was simple and no problems at all.Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would love to come back one day!

Nice villa on a very steep hill

Property was good but difficult to find as we were unable to contact the manager even though he was supposed to meet us there. Luckily a local lady was able to guide us in. Had no visit at all from the manager during our week despite him saying he would come and make some repairs. No information in the villa at all about where to put rubbish etc so was all guesswork

Kathy, that is not fair. If you look at your communications with me on the VRBO website, on 13th June I sent you an attachment “Villa Notes”. In this attachment is all the information you need: how to get into the villa, a Google map link to the villa’s exact location, and pictures, with added directions on the image, of the route from the main road, the D400, to the villa entrance, and an image of the entrance itself on Piynar Sokak. Regarding the visit from the manager, he was there every morning hosing down the patios upstairs and downstairs, attending to the pool and cleaning up the cigarette butts on the patio downstairs. One morning he met one of your family members coming back from a run. Zeki asked him if all was OK; he replied that it was. I cannot expect him to be at the villa late at night to receive guests, that is why I have a lockbox with the key by the front door. I have often used VRBO to rent properties and I suggest this is standard. The repairs you mentioned, I assume it the toilet seat, as I received a picture of the it the day after you left. I have had the same cleaning crew and manager for ten years and I trust them completely. They are 100% reliable; it is not in my interest as a host, or in my manager’s interest as my employee to be careless and to miss something so obvious as a broken toilet seat. To close, I am sorry for any misunderstanding about the Villa Notes and comms. with my manager. I will cover the cost of repairs. Regards, Amanda

Fabulous Villa in Kalkan

My husband & I & our 2 daughters ages 18 & 20 are just back from an 11 night stay in this fabulous villa. Everything is provided that you could possibly need, it is very well equipped & spotless as is the pool area. It has a great outdoor area & shaded seating. The pool is cleaned each morning by Zeki, who is on hand for any queries you may have. Zeki also booked our transfer & got us some essentials in, for our first night. The views are spectacular & worth the steep short walk into town. We just jumped into a taxi home for 60 TL A 6 minute walk to the Carre4 supermarket, got a taxi back up the hill, 8 minutes to the market & about 8 minutes to the old town, so a fantastic location. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa & would definitely stay here again. The location is fabulous. The owner Amanda made the booking very easy & answered any questions we had promptly. The garden is lovely & we enjoyed lemons off the tree, we loved seeing the tortoise everyday & feeding it lettuce.

Stunning Location

We have just returned from two fantastic weeks at the villa. Everything was perfect and as expected from the listing. The views are spectacular, accommodation spotless, very well equipped too. The pool was great and the addition of the shallow plunge pool would be great for little ones. The seating area was a lovely spot in the evenings for watching the sun go down and provided welcome shade during the day. The gardens are beautiful, adorned with established plants and we had a tortoise visiting us most days. The lower terrace off the downstairs bedrooms gave the teens space of their own in the evenings before going out. Everything is within easy reach and we were prepared for the steep walk down the hill to get to the Old Town. There are an abundance of taxis to take you back. Communication with the property owner was faultless from start to finish and the local property manager could not have more helpful, booking transfers, looking after the pool etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and would love to return some time.

Lovely villa, lovely stay

We have just come back from a two weeks stay in this villa, my husband and I and our two sons age 14 and 17. The villa and the views are lovely, and we have absolutely nothing negative to say. We were well taken care of by Zeki during our stay, and the communication with Amanda from our first contact was very good. There is a steep hill from the villa down to the old town and harbour, a short and very managable walk into town, but have to admit we often took a taxi back. :) Absolutely worth it considering the view. This is our sixth visit to Kalkan, and the first villa we are considering booking again for next summer. Our very best recommendations!

However, our favourite place to be is still at our lovely villa, with its tremendous view over the bay, yet in close walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. We hope that you will enjoy magical Kalkan and the hospitality of the Turkish people as much as we do.
