Villa Tala View lies in a beautiful setting in the small sleepy village of Kissonerga, amid lemon groves and banana plantations. Our three bedroom link detached villa, is set in landscaped gardens with a large 8 x 4m private swimming pool with Roman Steps, giving the feel of paradise. Beyond are the fantastic views of the Hills of Tala. This superb holiday accommodation contains every convenience for a comfortable and memorable holiday. Air-con, ceiling fans and fly-screens are provided. Shutters all around have been installed recently (January 2013) all designed to keep you nice and cool when inside. A complimentary welcome pack will greet you on arrival. Every window (June 2013) has a fly screen including bathrooms and en-suite, now the refreshing breezes can circulate inside and the horrible little whatsits will have to stay outside.
A recently purchased car is now available (13/01/2017) to enable guests to explore this fantastic country, photos of our Nissan Xtrail are available. A car is not essential for our property but is recommended.
Prices for the car range from £25- £40 per day dependant on season, payment could be made with final payment for villa 3 weeks before your holiday, this price also includes airport transfers, which avoids trying to find villa initially, often in the dark. There are no hidden extras with the car, it is fully comprehensively insured and will come with a full tank of petrol. It is ideal to cope with the roads in Cyprus, especially if you are planning off road, to maybe Lara Bay to see the Turtles or Akamas
You will picked up from the airport, and taken to the villa, where the car will be waiting for you.

In addition, with effect from June 2018, for guests staying 2 weeks or more then a weekly change of bedding and
towels will be done by my staff, at a prearranged time during your stay they will arrive to perform this duty, it so saves the hassle of having to do it yourself during your holiday, which has happened in the past.

After 30 years of negotiation, The Paphos Marina has been approved and a Developer appointed. It is a great time for us all, Potima Bay is approximately 1,5 miles from our Villa.
The Paphos marina at Potima bay, lying between Kissonerga and Pegeia will be a crucial project for Paphos. When finally built, it will have a capacity of 1,000 berths. The project will take approximately three years to be completed. In addition to berthing for 1,000 vessels, the project will include more than 42,000 square metres of residential and commercial developments.

Lovely Kissonerga

Ideally situated in a cul de sac of 7 villas and within walking distance of the village. Very quiet. The villa overlooks fields & hills to the back & has everything one needs. It is within a short drive to a large beach, to Pafos & ideally situated for other day trips. Or, just chill by the pool….

Early holiday in Cyprus April 2023

The villa has everything you would wish for and is maintained to a very high standard. Jill is a wonderful host, not forgetting her property manager and his partner who live next door, who were always on hand to provide help and advice if needed. The option to use Jill's car for our stay with transfers to and from the airport was well worth doing and made those journeys much easier.

Lovely comfortable villa

Lovely, comfortable villa, with a very well-equipped kitchen. John, the property manager, was really friendly and helpful. The car that is available to hire with the villa, was great and excellent value as transfers to and from the airport were included in the cost. The location is very convenient, a short drive from Coral Bay. We were first time visitors to Cyprus and the villa location made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. The garden and pool are lovely and very well kept. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Excellent property in great location

We had a wonderful week here (thank you Jill and neighbour John who manages the property). Hard to fault really, comfortable with all amenities, great location for access to paphos, coral bay etc. Also a good base for walking, either coastal or up the hills to tala and beyond. Plus easy access to key bus routes. Highly recommended.

Amazing holiday

Had a wonderful time staying at Jills beautiful house which has everything you could want/need. The private pool was lovely and everything was spotlessly clean. The villa is a short car ride to Coral Beach, one of the best beaches in Cyprus. Plenty of nice restaraunts, bars and supermarkets within walking distance. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone and will be returning in the near future. Thanks to Jill and John for making our holiday so perfect.

Wunderschöne Villa

Wir haben vom 9.-16.04.22 mit unseren Kindern in Jill's Villa einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt gehabt. Die großzügigen Räume mit absoluter Vollausstattung und toller Lage haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Gepflegter Pool, Sonnendeck und Gasgrill haben den Urlaub abgerundet. Gerne würden wir hier nochmals buchen.

Wedding getaway

My partner and I booked Jill's beautiful Villa for our stay in Paphos ahead of our wedding. We wanted somewhere special, somewhere we could relax but also be within acceptable distance to meet up with our guests located in various places in Paphos, so not too isolated. Jill's villa did not disappoint. A hidden gem nestled in a quiet location not far from a small little village, it was not difficult to get around although we found the car hire offered with our booking essential for us personally due to needing to meet with friends, family and travel to our venue several times for meetings- it is possible to use taxis and the local bus service too. John the property manager is only next door should you require anything, John and Pat both went the extra mile with their kindness and friendliness to make our stay extra special, as did Jill with regular communication and well wishes on our wedding, nothing was too much trouble and they were all available should we require anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to come back in the future! We wandered out a few evenings, visited the the Village Inn for some good homely pub grub, friendly staff made us feel welcome. We also spent time in Coral Bay, not far from the villa, plenty to see and do. Jill has a wealth of information at the villa for ideas and places to visit, I found this a thoughtful touch. We were within easy distance of Paphos Harbour too which we regularly visited to meet with friends staying in hotels there. There are plenty of recommended places to dine out locally and very good supermarkets nearby. We liked Philippos in Coral Bay and the Kings Avenue Mall near Paphos Harbour! Jill's villa was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need and more for a self catering break away. The beds are comfortable and rooms spacious with plenty of storage. Bathrooms were great, showers powerful. The downstairs layout is great for cozy nights in or evenings of entertaining, there is plenty of space and modern facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings for breakfast overlooking the pool and views of Tala, quite often on the balcony too. We made use of the pool during our stay for the last week of October, weather was still warm enough to be comfortable making use of this. John kept the pool clean and garden tidy for the duration of our stay. All in all we rate this property 5 stars as it really did make our stay that little bit more special!

Wow stunning what more can I say.

Absolutely stunning villa, very clean, spacious and in a perfect quiet location, all the utensils you can imagine. Owner is very helpful and stayed in contact with us, I would recommend this villa to anybody. Convenient that the handy man Is next door who again also help and tops up the pool and keeps is looking nice and refresh for your stay. I will definitely be going again in 2020. I do not have a bad word to say.

Utopia

The villa is extremely well equipped and is home from home.The outdoor area is well maintained and the pool is a welcome relief after a day looking around the many local villages.Hiring Jill’s car made things easier and it’s something I would recommend as it’s there waiting for you upon arrival.John the property manager lives next to the villa and although not required he was there if needed which was nice to know.The local village is a 10-15 min walk away where can be found a couple of local and a couple of catering more for the British taste eateries all of which we found very good but I would suggest a drive to one of the villages in the hills for something more traditional.Jill clearly has made a great effort to ensure the villa is to a very high standard and it was .Thanks again Jill.

Fabulous. This villa lived up to all our expectations

From booking to our final day Jill and her villa made our whole Cyprus experience fabulous. The communication from Jill was prompt, extremely helpful and prepared us well for our visit. During our stay she also helped with any queries we had very quickly. What a lovely lady. The villa had everything it promised. Well equipped and all of the finishes were excellent within each room. The pool was an absolute blessing with temperatures above 30 every day. This was also cleaned well during our stay. We found the local village really handy walking distance for eating and fresh bread every day and the use of the car invaluable for exploring and supermarket trips. We would recommend ‘Seriani’ restaurant in Coral Bay for scrumptious seafood and ‘Sea You Beach Bar’ for very indulgent breakfast or dessert Crepes. We would definitely return here in the future and recommend for a relaxed holiday. Thank you Jill

Delightful villa in Kissonerga

We returned to this villa a second time and found it even more enjoyable. It’s more like you’re staying in someone’s well loved home than renting a holiday home. It’s clean, comfortable and well cared for and communication from the owner was helpful. Any request or query was promptly responded to. We’ll definately return here again.

A great place for a holiday.

Great villa, full of everything you could need. The kitchen full of all the things you have at home, which has been sadly lacking in other villas we have used (Not with Home Away, other villa operators). Outside is the same, great pool that seem to stay very clean. load of seating outside and tables too. Like the new shutters and the fly screens on all the ranch slider doors and windows ( this means no flies in the villa), couple this with the ceiling fans meant the villa stayed cool without using the Aircon. John the guys that looks after you during the stay was very helpful and informative giving a number of recommendations for restaurants etc and they all proved excellent. We did have a couple of minor thing and John was instantly to fix and put right - Excellent John thanks. Jill (the owner) was excellent too, both during the booking process, before our trip and our stay, just an email away. A villa to be recommended.

Enjoyable relaxing holiday

Had a lovely relaxing hoilday once again at Jill,s property everything at hand that you need in the property , comfortable beds,furnishing ect property nice and clean pool was cold due to time of year but grandson still made use of it, many thanks to John and Pat once again for picking us up and dropping us back at airport ,car came in very handy to get out and about as it is a fair distance to big supermarkets, nice bite to eat at Julie's bar in village ,also Coral King, and Haris little village restaurant . Many thanks to Jill for the smooth communications during booking and follow up information regarding the property .

Very comfortable and attractive villa. Use of the owner's car was an added bonus.

One of the main benefits for us for choosing this villa was the added bonus of the use of the owner's vehicle for an additional fee plus the benefit of being picked up and dropped off at the Airport by her neighbour John, giving us worry free travel. The Villa itself was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Unfortunately, we did not have very good weather for most of our stay and did not get the full benefit of the attractive outside space and pool but we enjoyed seeing many of the sights which the Island has to offer. Jill, the owner, was excellent at responding quickly to any queries we may have had and equally John next door was very friendly and helpful when we needed his assistance plus his two dogs were very cute. For those who prefer to be closer to shops and nightlife, this villa is perhaps not the choice for you, however, we enjoyed the more local village atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the bars and restaurants in the village which were a ten minute walk away. We would definitely consider renting Jill’s villa again should we visit the same area.

Lovely villa, great host!

Just come back from our wonderful stay in this villa. It was exactly as described, spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished, it was an ideal place for a holiday. From the moment I booked, Jill was very quick and easy to deal with, supplying me with all the necessary information to prepare for the stay, she also communicated with us in the run up to our holiday, while we were there and after, which was very reassuring. We hired her car as well, which was very useful to get around and made the arrangements simple, as we were picked up and dropped off at the airport by John her property manager. John was very helpful and always on hand during our holiday, he was only next door and chatted with us most days. The villa is in Kissonerga which had a few places to eat (as described in the description) and a small supermarket. We also went a bit further down into Lempa where there was an excellent Italian for coffee and a bakery which had lovely doughnuts and cakes. We ate out at Julies bar and Sunset Breeze (kissonerga) and Duomo (Pathos) and all are recommended, as they understood and provided gluten free food for my son, Duomo had gluten free pasta.. Would highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting to stay in a relaxing area close to Pathos

Peaceful villa with pool and views near Coral Bay

The Villa met our expectations and the owners description. The Owner Jill provided us with help and guidance during and leading up to our stay, the villa neighbors John and Pat were also extremely kind and helpful. The villa is clean, modern and welcoming with a useful pool in a peaceful, quiet setting with lovely views to the hill side village of Tala but also not very far from a number of good restaurants and Bars and within walking distance of Vardas beach. There is a service bus that runs between Paphos and Coral Bay which you can catch near Vardas beach which costs 1.50 euro to Paphos and runs all day until around midnight. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again with the only slightly negative point being the showers in the ensuite and bathroom seemed a little dated but fully functional

Fabulous

Communication with Jill since booking the villa in 2017 has been second to none. I feel as if I know her personally, even though we have never met! Jill's responses were immediate and the information she provided was honest and succinct. the Villa was exactly as the description stated. The furniture, bedding, towels etc are comfortable and high quality and everything you need is there, a home from home! The garden is designed perfectly for recreation and we embraced it. For 7 days of our holiday there were six of us and at no point did we feel cramped, there is plenty of space. Our daughters are aged 15 and 17 and the Wi-Fi was very much appreciated! the air conditioning was invaluable at night time as it was very hot whilst we were there and in the daytime, the pool provide the perfect way to cool down and relax before firing up the BBQ and relaxing around the outside dining table. we travelled out on a few days and would recommend the waterpark at Limassol. we went there on one of the hottest days and it was well worth the drive. We opted to use the car provided by Jill and it was worth it. Hassle free car hire and a lift to and from the airport made the journey so much easier. The neighbour, John, is extremely helpful and approachable. His dogs are lovely too! All in all it was a fabulous holiday that we booked in march 2017 and had looked forward to for many months. We were not disappointed and we will book again.

Home from home

Loved our stay in kissonerga, the villa is immaculate as well set out. We did have an issue with the fridge on day one but it was all resolved by John next door he was a great help during our stay. We loved the pool with no hassle getting a bed either! Paphos is a good 20 mins away or €20 in a taxi so we were glad we hired the car. Jill is really easy to get on with, very thorough in her information and answers all emails very promptly We loved our stay and can't wait to go back,

Amazing in every way - 5 star

From initial enquiry regarding renting the property to our return home I really have found Jill to have thought of and covered every need a guest could possibly have. All correspondence was answered quickly and thoroughly. The Villa is beautiful, fabulous location near enough to good amenities but far enough away from the busy hype so easy to dip in and out of. Again, everything you could possibly need is in the villa which was clean and well furnished. The car was very useful and a good quality, safe vehicle which easily accommodated the 4 of us. The outside dining area along with a great, clean pool was our favourite place and at all times of the day shade could be found which was high on the list for me due to a sun allergy. The facilities in Kissonerga are good too, we visited Julies Bar as the Footie was on and the staff were great, food was lovely and very good value for money. The supermarket in town was useful but we did shop at the bigger one a few KMS down the road. We also ate at Dorias - stunning location and again fabulous staff, great food and fantastic evening was had by all. Jill sends you all the information you could possibly require so you just get there, sit back and relax from the minute you walk through the door. We were all so impressed with everything I am confident we will be revisiting this beautiful villa again - I have already recommended a stay here to many members of my family, as have the other members of the party. Also, the neighbours Pat are John are fabulous, friendly, helpful and really "salt of the earth" people, they were there for us at all times. At the moment we only holiday in Cyprus, escaping from the pressures of work relaxing with all of our new found friends, in such a beautiful historic country. It has been less than 10 years ago that Joe and I first visited Cyprus, we fell in love with it immediately and dreamt of buying a house in readiness for our retirement 15 years hence. We went home having had an amazing holiday, but after a cooling off period of four months, we returned to fulfil our dream.

We bought the villa off plan, the location was so important, we wanted to be a part of a village, but not far from the sea or the town. Kissonerga was perfect, we are literally 5 minutes walk from the village which has all the amenities that we need, including 2 great restaurants, a 15 minute relaxed stroll brings us to a stunning beach close to another outstanding restaurant.
5 minutes by car, you will find yourself at the very popular Coral Bay, 15 minutes drive in the opposite direction will find yourself at the picturesque Harbour in Paphos, surrounded by brightly painted fishing boats, and private yachts and all dominated by The Fort and the Mosaics and all only an hours drive to the Mountains of Troodos.

We took delivery of our villa in May ten years ago, and very soon discovered not only how much Cyprus and Paphos in particular had to offer, but also just how wonderful it was. To relax in the evenings alongside the pool, a glass of wine, soft music and succulent food from our barbecue, or to walk up the hill to the next village which is Tala, to sit in the Village Square and watch the world go by. It really is a taste of paradise
