Beautiful, home across from Harvey's Lake. Enjoy lovely views of the lake from the large, prow front deck, complete with gas grill and patio set. Master suite with bedroom and full bathroom upstairs. Two bedrooms and full bath on 1st floor. Open area includes kitchen, dining room and living room. Cable TV and Private Beach access with lifeguard on duty. Fishing/hiking/boating/huskiing and hunting available in winter. Close to Ricketts Glenn State Park, Seven Tubs State Park, Francis Slocum State Park, Mohegan Sun Casino, Montage Mountain Skiing, Snowboarding, Water Park and the Shops at Montage. Hill Side Farms is a perfect place to take the kids with petting zoo, ice cream, shops and beautifully restored glass hot houses. So much to do!

Love it here!

We’ve stayed at this house several summers over the years and love it at the lake! The host is a great person and her property is lovely! We look forward to staying there again!

Beautiful lake home with amazing views

This beautiful home provided my family with the perfect place to stay for our son’s college graduation. Fully equipped kitchen, huge deck with amazing views, cute loft master bedroom overlooking the downstairs area. Cathy was responsive, helpful, and an overall wonderful host. Everything we could have needed was provided, from paper towels to dishes to toiletries—so thoughtful!

We had a great time. Home was clean and comfortable. Beach area was great for grandkids.

Home was great! It was clean and grandkids enjoyed the beach. Hope basement is finished soon to give more sleeping space.

Happy Place at Harvey's Lake

We rented this home as we were attending a family wedding at a local Inn and wanted a place to stay with our family. It was the perfect location. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather on the deck overlooking the lake, take long walks around the lake and relax with our family members. Catherine made the whole process very easy and we all enjoyed our stay. We will likely come back again!!

Great weekend get away

We came up for girls weekend and to hike Ricketts Glenn and we had an amazing time. The house is in a great location and the view of the lake is amazing from he sunny and roomy deck. The house is very nice and well kept with an open floor plan which worked great for our group. The house was clean and check in and check out was easy. We had a minor mid communication about extra sheets and pillows and where to find them. The host is responsive and helpful. I would stay again!!

Independence Stay

There was a little glitch with beach access, but Cathy did everything she could to try to rectify the problem as quickly as she could. We always love our time spent in her beautiful home at Harvey’s Lake.

Weekend at the lake

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Dallas, PA and this place was fantastic. Catherine was very easy to communicate with, very friendly and even hand delivered the beach passes to us. The proximity to the wedding venue was great, views of the lake were lovely and having the beach access was a great perk. House was clean and had plenty of space for our little family.

BEAUTIFUL UPDATED CHALET HOME !!!!!

This house was just perfect ! There was a BEAUTIFUL view of the lake from the deck......It was immaculate when we arrived....every amenity you could ask for plus more !!!! The owner was a pleasure to work with.....will definitely come back again.

A perfect August vacation

We had two couples, and everyone had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Gorgeous view of the lake and access to a beach was included. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee was divine. Plenty of dishes and silverware for the 4 of us, and also some visiting kids with grandkids! We are hoping for a longer vacation next summer.

Bachelorette Party

We hosted my daughter’s bachelorette party at this rental. It was very clean, roomy (we had six people staying here) and conveniently located to other destinations we visited throughout the weekend. Catherine was easy to reach and answered our questions leading up to the stay very promptly. The view of Harveys Lake was spectacular and fire pit area was perfect as we winded down in the evening. Definitely a place we’d stay at again, hoping for a yearly get together and will be back!

Wonderful home and GREAT host.

This was a very clean and well maintained home. The listing and pictures were exactly as the home was. Caroline the host was AMAZING! We had a terrible storm l, lost power and it caused damage to the outside table and Caroline was only concerned about our safety. She kept checking on us . Even offered to bring us coffee from Dunkin! I am absolutely thrilled with this stay! Highly recommend this home and Caroline!

GOOD EXPERIENCE

MY SISTER S AND THEIR SPOUSES WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, I LIVE 1 MILE AWAY SO THEY ONLY SLEPT AND SHOWERED AND HAD COFFEE AT THE CHALET, NO NEED T COOK AND GRILL BUT EVERYONE WAS COMFORTABLE.

Wonderfull Chalet / Great view of the lake

We traveled to Harvey's Lake to spend Christmas with our adult daughters. Catherine had set up a small Christmas tree for us . Even with the frigid cold we had a wonderful family Christmas. We love Harvey's Lake and have fond memories of keeping our boat there for 25yrs. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. We have rented it 3 times and would highly recommend renting it. This house is my first choice when travelling back to PA.

Celebrate Christmas

This was our fourth time renting Catherine's Chalet. We traveled to PA to celebrate Christmas with our adult daughters. Catherine had set up a Christmas tree and the house was perfect as always. We attended Christmas eve mass at the church 2 doors away. The Chalet has a beautiful view of Harvey's Lake. Catherine is great at responding to any request and we really had a wonderful Christmas.

Harvey's Lake July 2020

We enjoyed our stay! The house was as advertised...spacious and clean. It made s nice central location for our trips for hiking, fishing, and kayaking. It was unfortunate that the nearby public beach was closed (thanks, Covid) but we were able to use another one easily. The owner was very helpful and informative...and I asked LOTS of questions. :) Altogether a nice few days away from all the crazy. Thank yoi!

Wedding weekend in the mountains

The home was beautiful, well supplied with linens, pots , pans and anything else you would need to have an enjoyable stay at the lake house. We enjoyed our mornings at the private beach the kids and adults had a blast we all even went off the diving board and down the slide. Reliving our youth lol . We will defiantly rent again next year and bring our grandchildren from S.C. Catherine was a gracious host,our nephew who was first to arrive met Catherine in person and she gave him the grand tour. We could have not asked for a better family fun long weekend.

Great memories

Thank you , Catherine, for making us so welcome in your home. We had a terrific time with family and friends. Really made the most of the house and the neighborhood- from the expansive deck to the local beach- it was so sweet. Had cousins over one day which was wonderful. The kitchen had the space we needed for food and drinks. A couple of My cousins even walked down for 4pm mass. They were thrilled to be so close. Very good memories. All the best! We will be back!

Wonderful deck to enjoy the quiet surroundings and view of the lake.

A clean, comfortable house for 3 couples to enjoy while visiting our sister!!! Steep driveway and grassy path to get up to the house, big beautiful deck, plenty of chairs and table with umbrella for breakfasts and relaxing. Beds were very comfortable, we were a little nervous about double beds but actually roomy enough for 2 adults!! Linens and towels were good quality, very homey! The kitchen was clean, easy to use and find what we needed, plenty of dishes and utensils for use. We only prepared for breakfasts out on the deck, so awesome! Catherine was prompt with correspondence, easy to work with and flexible with check out. Very much appreciated. We all enjoyed the house and would stay again if in need of a place at Harvey's Lake!!!!

Great host beautiful home

Catherine was awesome. Due to the covid this year our family missed out on 3 vacations and on short notice she was able to accommodate us. The house was spotless (she was still cleaning when we checked in at 3 and had help) so with that being said with the pandemic going on we felt more than comfortable with knowing the cleanliness was well above mosts standards. It was so nice to not have to pack normal necessities and have somewhere we could include our 3 fur babies. The only issue was the dock near the house was closed and that's not of anything she can control. As a family that typically travels non stop and has been all over this was definitely one on the nicest hosts and most comfortable experiences we have had. We dont want to brag her up anymore due to wanting to be able to reserve again next year. As a large family we do recommend this spot for anyone and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did

Relaxing getaway.

Beautiful lake view from the deck & back yard fire pit for sunny warmer days & cooler fall evenings. Comfortable house with nice side streets for dog walking. Awesome view of fall foliage. Peaceful and relaxing.
