Just arrived home from a perfect 2 week stay. The gite was everything we could ask for. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and private. The pool was used everyday but we also found lots to do in the area. Chateaux, caves, walks, pretty towns and the Velorail. Sally was very welcoming and had thought of absolutely everything but was nearby should there have been a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Sally and Richard had gone to great lengths to provide as many facilities as we could possibly need. We were warmly welcomed and felt well looked after during our stay. The area gave lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and enjoying the outdoors. But if simply relaxing in a beautiful place is for you, the gite was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We think we'd like to come here again. Thanks very much for helping us have a lovely relaxing holiday.

A perfect retreat

We spent a lovely two weeks in this lovely rural setting. The Gite is a perfect size for 2 and feels very private. Sally and Richard were very good hosts throughout. A good location if you want to get away from everything.

Little haven

Lovely, quiet and peaceful, highly recommend. Sally and Richard are great, they were a huge help with some transport problems we had. The cottage has everything you would need for a relaxing time.

A perfect week in paradise

Sally is a fantastic person who makes you feel welcome and well from the first minute! And the location is perfect for 2 to relax, to go on walks, cycletours, kajaking and so on. We had a brilliant time and enjoyed every single moment!! Thank you very much!!

Wonderful gite!

Great property, very private although there are houses close by, beautiful views sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the garden. Very well equipped. Sally and Richard were very welcoming and helpful. The WiFi was a little hit and miss, but that’s to be expected in such a rural location and we didn’t use it much anyway. Wonderful hilly walking routes leaving right from the house and very clearly marked all the way. Very pretty towns to visit nearby too. We had a fantastic stay and would like to go back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at the gite. Both Sally and Richard were very welcoming. Rural location with very little noise. The pool was greatly appreciated in very high temperatures.

Agréable maison dans un havre de paix. Très bien équipée, propre. Pour se prposer au calme et visiter, choisissez cette petite maison de poupée avec des propriétaires gentils et discrets. Je recommande vivement !

PAS LOIN DU PARADIS

La maison est particulièrement bien équipée et décorée avec un goût très sûr, mêlant moderne et rustique. Le lit est très confortable et tout est accueillant. L'eau de la piscine était encore fraîche mais très agréable pendant les jours chauds. L'environnement bucolique et la nature très présente nous ont ravis. En résumé : on n'est pas loin du paradis !

Perfect

Loved this cosy Gite, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The property had everything you could possibly need, a comfy bed and power shower. There were some great walks from the property which could be extended to suit all fitness levels. Totally private outside space with seating in shade and sun. Hosts were very discreet but there in a flash if needed. Would recommend.

Eine Idylle für Großstädter

Die Eigentümer haben den Charme eines alten, kleinen Steinhauses beibehalten, ohne dass es an Komfort fehlt. Von der Terrasse blickt man auf Weide und Wald, nachts ruft das Käuzchen. Wer Ruhe sucht, der findet sie im Le Suquet. Zwar etwas abseits aller touristischen Attraktionen gelegen, ist die Lage dennoch ideal, um Ausflüge in die nahegelegenen Städtchen, wie Perigueux oder Bergerac zu unternehmen. Ein absolutes MUSS ist Lascaux IV. Auch wenn das moderne und super organisierte Besucherzentrum "nur" eine Nachbildung der tatsächlichen Höhle mit den beeindruckenden Felszeichnungen zu bieten hat, das Replikat ist perfekt. Für uns ein Highlight in diesem herrlichen Urlaub im Périgord. Danke an Sally und Richard, die uns ihr Cottage zur Verfügung gestellt haben!

Un coin de paradis

Petite maison très agréable et fonctionnelle. En pleine campagne au calme au milieu de la nature, très bien pour retrouver la sérénité, nombreux sites historiques à visiter à moindre coût.

Peace and Tranquility

The gite is in a little hamlet which is delightful. The downside is access to shops or a restaurant. While there are bikes available to use, the reality is you'll probably need to drive to most places. The kitchen is well equipped, basics such as coffee and sugar were provided. There is a gas BBQ out the back if that's more your thing.
