Overall really impressed. Really spacious villa with 4 good (evenly) sized bedrooms - all air conditioned and with plenty of storage space. Upstairs, as well as the bedrooms, there is a really large bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath and double wash basin and a separate loo. Downstairs is a large L-shaped living room / dining / kitchen with French windows onto a terrace with lounging area and dining table. There is a DVD (and CD) player so I'd recommend taking a few DVDs with you if you are planning an evening in. There's also WiFi.
Outside there is a lovely pool (steps into it at the shallow end) and the garden seems to get the sunshine for most of the day. We didn't have children with us but we would have felt safe if we had as there was a child safety lock to access the pool.
The village (Marseillan) is within easy walking distance and the restaurants were great - really quite reasonably priced and, of course, seafood (particularly shellfish) is plentiful. We ate out a lot and didn't had a bad meal. The local wine, of course, was excellent.
There's a Carrefour supermarket just down the road (with a great fish counter) which was really convenient. Locally, we explored Marseillan, Pezenas, Cap d'Adge, Sete and (a bit further away) Carcassone.
We only had to call the local property manager once with a query and she was really helpful.
We went in early September and the weather was very good - I had expected a bit more cloud, but it was lovely.
I can't think of any negatives. All in all a really great stay.
