We first visited Montenegro in 2003 and after falling in love with this then little known jewel in the Adriatic, have traveled the length and breadth of the country since and have never ceased to be amazed by it's beautiful photogenic scenery, good food, wine, beaches, castles, monasteries, olive groves, vineyards and colorful locals. We decided early on that we had to buy a holiday home here and after carefully researching each and every area over some three years (we lived in the apartment for a while) including the villages around the bay. We settled on these elevated properties in Dobrota, although in a quiet vicinity you are still only minutes away from both beaches and mountain locations, which makes this an ideal base for a vacation. We still take our holidays here every year.
