Coastguard Cottage With Sea Views

This victorian coast guard cottage sits high on top of the cliff in acres of country parkland. With spectacular views from every window ! A paradise for walkers, ( and dogs ! ) it also has the benefit of being 10 mins drive from Hastings Old Town with its famous fishing community, eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, beach and rail link to London and Brighton.
15 mins in the other direction takes you to the beautiful clique port town of Rye and the white sand beach at Camber beyond.
The new visitor centre in the country park , is a stroll away, good for breakfast or light lunch .
“The Cove “ is a 20 min walk across the cliff top into Fairlight village. A very good foodie pub, using local produce and serving local beer, it has something for everyone with lovely atmosphere.

The views from the cottahe are unbelievable. Every way you look there is another stunning view. The coastal path passes right by the door and the nature reserve has a great cafe. This cottage has been beautifully renovated to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation. It has everything you could need for a short break and the location is just amazing. Incredible stay.

We have stayed in a good few properties in the UK so can say with experience that Coastguard Cottage rates as one of the best if not the best accommodation to date. The views are something else and to be situated in Hastings Country Park was fabulous. We had everything that we needed and more. Super comfy beds and sofa's and proper cutlery! In fact the kitchen equipment was exceptional overall. We will definitely be back for a Winter visit. Loved it....

Great cottage in a fantastic location. We really enjoyed the walks from the doorstep, local attractions as well as downtime in the house. The bath was definitely an added luxury.

It was amazing again! Such a lovely place. The house is very authentic and has many spots to sit and enjoy, inside and outside. The weather was beautifully this week which made the vacation even better.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. The location is amazing and the cottage lovely to stay in. It was no punishment to stay at home when the weather was to bad to go out. the vieuws were stunning.Go for a nice dinner at the Cove in Fairlight. Good food and nice staff.We had a great stay.

Cosy and rustic cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Amazing views and walks on your doorstep. Great pub in the village close by.

Wonderful property, amazing location, relaxing break

We loved Karen's house, it is beautifully appointed and in the most amazing location. We would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again in the future. The house has loads of light and is very comfortable and well equipped.

Our family bought the cottage eight years ago, Over the years we fell in love with the area and have now moved to Hastings old town ! As our children are now grown up . it has lots to do ... has a very village neighbourly feeling ..great pubs and good food ...as well as great vintage shops where a bargain can still be found!!! But for peace and tranquility and the views you can't beat the cottage and I still find my self staring out of windows entranced..... On a clear night you can see the lights of France twinkling across the sea. 'Stanley our dog is in heaven chasing rabbits along the cliff top, and the birds across the beach. One day we may retire to the cottage but for now we are happy to share our little piece of heaven with you !
