Have been coming to Portscatho for over 20 years, this is one of our favourite places we have stayed. Well located, plenty of character, and a great host.

We really enjoyed our week in this house. The location is fantastic - you are right in the centre of the village. It's comfortable and light and good for small children.

Beautiful cottage in great location

We love Portscatho and Rose’s was everything the description promised and more. It’s a great location only a couple of minutes into the centre of the village and to the beach. The cottage was so cosy and clean with everything we needed to make our holiday comfortable from a well equipped kitchen to games for the kids and comfy beds. We really hope to be able to book again next year.

A beautiful and well appointed cottage in a really special location on the Roseland Peninsula

Thoughtfully equipped for a family holiday, the cottage feels welcoming and comfortable whilst still being smart and spotlessly clean. We loved sitting out on the decking in the evenings and were a stone's throw away from the village shop, pub, bistro and Harbour club. A beautiful cottage in a great location -loved Portscatho, such a pretty village and very friendly- you must visit the Harbour club which is the social club in the village and for a small fee you can access. Watching the sun go down from their balcony is a must. A short walk to The Hidden Hut on Porthcurnick beach, again great atmosphere and food. Towan beach beautiful and our favourite- white sand and turquoise sea and a great tea van in the courtyard behind beach. Also kayaked and sailed from St Mawes, a short drive away. In all a great holiday in a beautiful part of Cornwall, we were very sad to leave and will definitely return as we ran out of time to do everything! Would definitely go back to Portscatho as a base, a really special village and a lovely cottage to stay in.

Ein perfekte Ferienhaus!

Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit auf der wunderschönen Roseland Peninsula. Das Roses ist das perfekte Ferienhaus. Es ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Cottage ist mehr als komplett ausgestattet, so dass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Von der Angel bis zum Backofen ist wirklich alles vorhanden was ein Haushalt so braucht. Portscatho ist ein zauberhafter Ort und seine Bewohner sehr nett und äusserst hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.
