Unbelievable...Unforgettable “The Best Trip We Evers Took”

Judy was unbelievable and her property was truly serene!!! We couldn’t have asked for more! The locals treated us like family! I highly recommend visiting and renting this beautiful property! We will be sure to return!

The pool was closed for the winter which was fine. The location is very remote and the owner did not provide much communication regarding the stay etc. The house was very cold when we got there and took awhile to heat up. We were charged for a "broken" shutter that we did not have any recollection of "breaking" other than we just had to pay. Overall a very average stay and would not stay at this property again

Hi I am afraid that your review is not accurate. The pool was clean and operational when you arrived and I can supply photos. As to the location, it is not at all remote as it is 6 minutes drive from the main road to Kyparissia and Kalo Nero village. You were visiting Greek friends who live in Kyparissia and they advised you where the villa was located. I sent you 5 emails explaining everything about the villa and the area plus detailed driving instructions and a video of the route. You had my mobile and I am contactable 24/7. The heating in the house works perfectly once you turned it on. I understand you are upset about being charged for the shutter but the repair man told me it was broken by you when you forced it open and I supplied you with photos. When you departed the villa you left the shutter broken and the toilet mechanism broken which I did not charge for as it is wear and tear. You also did not inform me. I am really sorry you did not enjoy your stay but I find your review to be completely inaccurate.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Our entire stay could not have been any better! The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need and more! Really light, spacious, amazing pizza oven, BBQ, football pitch, pool, table tennis! Kostas and Judy were also both lovely to deal with, really helpful and gave us great tips on what to do, including a boat trip, waterfalls, dinner recommendations, turtle survey etc. Could not recommend it anymore! Thank you for a brilliant holiday!!

Had a brilliant stay @ Judy's property!

Had a brilliant stay @ Judy's property! Enjoyed touring to various sights, the beach and also dinner up the mountain (wild mountain greens & beetroot salad ...). Spent a good deal of time around the pool and found the sunny days healing restorative! Judy's stone villa property is super well outfitted in every way ... for a large group of friends and or family. We were justus2 and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday time in Greece! Judy responded to all communiques promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa itself is located on an absolutely gorgeous property, with amazing views from basically everywhere. Plenty of space for 7 of us (5 adults, 2 kids). It's a short drive to the village of Kalo Nero, which has a beautiful rocky beach with big waves that our kids (11-almost-12 and 14) loved playing in. Other sandier beaches are a quick drive away. There is plenty to see in under an hour's drive from the villa, or within 1.5 hrs one-way if you are up for a longer drive in this gorgeous part of Greece. My only regret is that 4-full days wasn't quite enough time to see and do everything we wanted to do! Judy was so helpful and informative with recommendations and answers to questions. She's an excellent host and greatly enhanced our experience. Would definitely return!

This villa - everything you could wish for & more!

From the very moment of enquiring about this villa and leaving it the owners Judy and Kostas's communication was second to none; they simply could not have been more helpful. They carried out research for us on boats, hiring a car etc ... The property itself is situated on a hill, amongst the olive groves, overlooking a mountain, and I swear the house never has clouds over it as that mountain hugs any that come close! The mountain to one side, the olive groves at its feet, and the far reaching sea views give this villa the perfect situation. The view from the pool is spectacular, but that is only one view, there are multiple terraces - around the pool, the east terrace, the south terrace, and the roof terrace where you can watch the sun go down every evening. The villa is spacious with open plan living, ample sofas and seating, large dining table and chairs inside and out. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are also spacious and comfortable, one with a very clean white ensuite. All windows are fitted with mosquito guards, allowing you to keep the doors open at night, and enjoy the breeze and not the bites. Air con was provided but we found not necessary as leaving the doors between the bathroom and the terrace open provided enough breeze to get a good nights sleep. We opted to keep the animals onsite - the children loved looking after Xena the outdoor dog, the cats and the chickens. The villa is situated close to Kalo Nero where you will find an abundance of tavernas close to the seafront, and one or two away from the seafront which are quite good. At the bottom of the dusty track and road that the villa is situated you will find a bakers that is open early and sells fresh bread. Kyprissia is close by, which is buzzing a little more and you will find several banks close to the square, pharmacy etc, and lots of restaurants and music. A must is to meet the Turtle protection team early on the beach, and you might be lucky enough to see a loggerhead turtle hatch from one or more of the 1,700 nests on the beach, or attend a controlled excavation of a hatched nest. All in all there is plenty to do, great food, plenty of history - but this amazing villa may just capture you and you might not want to venture much further than the boundary walls! It's a piece of heaven

Sehr komfortable Villa, sehr viel Platz und schön eingerichtete Räume. Wir waren mit elf Personen dort, sechs Erwachsene und fünf Kinder. Die Kinder hatten im Untergeschoss ein sehr großes Spielzimmer, was sie mit Begeisterung nutzten, sogar eine Tischtennisplatte und sehr viel Spielzeug waren vorhanden . Die Ausstattung des Hauses war sehr gut, es gab ausreichend Küchenutensilien für eine große Gruppe, mehrere Sitzplätze außen und innen, ein sehr schöner Pool, im Oktober war er etwas kühl, aber wir konnten ihn trotzdem täglich nutzen. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Haus nur empfehlen, die Gastgeberin Judy gab viele Tipps für Restaurantbesuche und Strände, die sehr hilfreich waren.

Very nice people to deal with. I speak no Greek. The host spoke enough Greek that I could ask questions and understand the answer. He was a very interesting person to talk to. I would stay there again. Property was clean and the neighborhood seems to be safe. Everything worked as it should. I enjoyed my stay and so did my family.

Découverte du Péloponnèse en famille

Très bel emplacement avec de superbes plages de sable, proches de la maison. Possibilité de voir les poissons et les tortues dans la baie de Kiparissia. Tous les sites archéologiques tels que Olympie, l’ancienne Messène, Mystra sont facilement accessibles. Vous pourrez également visiter en une journée le Magne et les villages d’Arcadie. Judy a toujours été très disponible pour nous renseigner et répondre à nos demandes. La piscine et le jardin sont très propres et nous avons bien pu en profiter après nos visites. Le cadre est bucolique et nous avons bien apprécié le calme des champs d’oliviers . Nous recommandons vivement cette magnifique maison.

Villa and views

The owners were fantastic they could not do enough for you if you wanted gave you a piece of mind. The villa was great everything that you require is in the villa fantastic views the pool was cleaned every day and lovely Taverna and a nice pool bar near the beach every think you need for a nice break children loved it.

Wonderful stay!

The property and amenities were wonderful! Our stay was truly amazing! We had a large group of 13, ranging from young children to seniors and the villa was perfect. The location was great - lots of activities to enjoy!

I send all my guests this: a video of the route from Kalo Nero village to the villa, google /waze directions, written directions, GPS location and exact instructions for check in. Great Place to relax

We really love the villa, you drive up through the Olive groves to a raised site where you can see the sea in the distance, lovely sunsets. The villa had everything we needed and is only a 15 min drive to the supermarkets and Kyparissia is a great town. Judy was amazing, so incredibly helpful and thoughtful, she really wants you to enjoy your stay.

Lovely, spacious house with great outside space

We stayed at Judy’s house over a week in the start of summer. Judy was a great host and very responsive. The house was very well taken care of and spacious with all the necessary amenities. As we were there during a heatwave the fans in the bedrooms were not enough to keep the rooms cool but other than that everything was great!

Beautiful Place

Amazing holiday.

The house is beautiful and every detail has been thought through. Our kids loved exploring around the gardens and the pool was a massive hit, it was hard to get them out. It is located superbly on small hill amongst olive groves and short distance from friendly town with beautiful beach. It is also perfectly located to make visits to Olympia, Messene, Methoni all of which were so much more than we'd expected. If your wildlife lovers you'll love it too and our highlight was watching baby turtles hatch on the beach. Judy was so helpful and attentive too. She recommended local places to visit like a tomb with caves near by which you could wander through away from other tourists. Couldn't recommended this highly enough.

Magiskt! Toppklass!

Rekommenderar verkligen denna villa för er semester! Vi var 2 familjer som hyrde denna underbara villa. Vill ni komma bort från turism och verkligen uppleva Grekland i dess riktiga form så tveka inte! Byarna / städerna runt Kalo Nero är turism = 0. Restaurangerna är genuina och allt vi åt vara super! (Förutom mitt i staden Kyparissia på torget. Där var det inge vidare) Allt som skrivs om huset stämmer och bilderna visar verkligen hur underbart det är. Judy som äger villan är super! Verkligen en toppvärd! Hon svarar nästan direkt på frågor, ger förslag på allt man kan tänkas vilja göra eller uppleva. Vi fick tråkigt nog ett sjukdomsfall när vi var där men Judy som följde med oss till 2 olika sjukhus var med oss hela tiden. Fantastisk människa och gjorde allt för oss! Massa tack Judy 😊 Toppbetyg från oss på både villa och värd!

Beautiful Villa in cozy seaside town

We (7 adults and 3 children) had a great stay in this nice Villa 5 minutes from Kalo Nero a quiet town on the West coast with some lovely seaside restaurants. Great property owner, very responsive and helpful, and good suggestions for local restaurants. Nicely located to all major sites on the west coast. Bring mattress covers as beds are more suited for hard mattress sleepers (we found hard mattresses throughout Greece) and there are quite a few dogs in the neighborhood. We would love to come back again. Great job Judy.

Hi Gilbert and thanks for your comments. I am sorry you found the mattresses too firm. All the beds have firm (they are top of the range ) mattresses and have mattress covers. Taking your comments on board I have decided to order some added mattress tops to make them a bit softer. Yes you are right, everywhere in Greece has firm mattresses. Amazing!

Incredible Villa! Amazing view! Description and photos of the house are absolutely accurate. Clean and sunny, all facilities were available either for a long or short stay. The house is fantastic for large families or group of friends and i would recommend it for both summer and winter vacation. Child friendly with a separate playroom and toys it gave us the privacy and piece of mind we wanted while it excited our children.
