This property is excellent! Host Leslie was very responsive and easy to deal with. The kitchen is well stocked (not food but everything you need to cook). Beds were very comfortable. There is something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this beautiful converted barn.

Great place to stay. Very clean and the host thought of everything. Great communication and easy check out. Will keep it on the list to stay again when in the area.

We were very happy with this rental. I cooked a number of meals for my family during our time there, and that can be difficult in an unfamiliar kitchen, but I found everything I needed. Our host was very flexible about check in and check out times which was also super helpful. She really seem to want to make it easy for us. The location is essentially in the middle of farmland and very quiet. We loved our stay and highly recommend "the Barn."

Beautiful barn

The barn was beautiful, charming and cozy. The barn and surrounding area made a wonderful family retreat special and memorable. Leslie is a wonderful host! Highly recommended!

Great Getaway!

The is a fantastic place! We were looking for a nice retreat. The back deck was the perfect place for morning coffee!

Leslie was very helpful both before and after renting. She checked in with us during our stay. She even made the effort to return an item that we had inadvertently left. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Thanks Leslie for a good trip.

Beautiful Barn

Home was great and has a wonderful story behind it. Felt like home right as you walk it. Communication was great, plenty of amenities that made the stay great.

A lovely stay!

We had a great visit at this property! It was a convenient location for us, as we have family in the surrounding area. The barn is spacious but with a cozy feel and all the renovations they have done are impressive. It is stocked with everything you could want for your stay and then some. We will gladly return again!

Leslie is a great host!

We stayed at the barn for multiple nights and very much enjoyed it! We had a lot of space in the yard to hang out. Overall we would recommend staying at the barn!

Great stay for Family Weekend

What a great property! Our family enjoyed our stay while visiting Kenyon College. It's just a short drive to Gambier from the Barn. The property is clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. We love the it is pet friendly. Highly recommend.

Summer Farm Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in the barn. We liked the peaceful setting and the home-like family accommodations. There were 9 of us and it was easy to fit ourselves in for a cozy, family weekend. Leslie was great to deal with all the way. We will be back someday.

Lovely and comfortable!

The barn is far more beautiful in person than the pictures if you ask us! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the owner Leslie is very generous and kind having left us a lovely bottle of wine as we were celebrating our 21st anniversary. We definitely plan to visit again sometime! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

A Delightful Experience

7 of us siblings stayed at the barn. The barn is charming. Full kitchen. Bed linens were great. Beds very comfortable. This is a beautiful property in the country. Thank you!

Beautiful updated barn in a quiet country location.

This past weekend our crew of 7 moms stayed at "The Barn" for our college reunion. The owner was gracious and provided us with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There were also fresh eggs from the neighbors! We had a wonderful time and if you are looking for a peaceful weekend away, this is the place to stay.

Country Getaway

Enjoyed the unique renovated barn setting. Perfect for our weekend family wedding nearby. Could have used better outside furniture on porch. A little too much of the owners stuff in the house. The coffee machine was nice and very cozy.

I am so sorry you were not happy with the outside furniture. I have Adirondak chairs from Frontgate, recliners, and outside plastic chairs for the fire pit. You are right, the barn has lots of eclectic stuff specifically related to the history of the barn. It's a fine line between portraying the barn's history and too much stuff! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take it to heart!

Restored Barn that lives up to Listing

Leslie was super helpful and accommodating during and after our rental. Large open family room area and kitchen with a modern take. A large loft area with sleeping and tv room is available but we never left the living room couch to enjoy it. The property is very cool and is definitely distinct from the neighbors, so it was very easy to locate from the direction provided. A nice place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Living in the Barn

Awesome property! Very unique and definitely not a "cookie cutter" stay. Leslie was very attentive to every need. She left personal notes and a welcome gift. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was fine. Awesome area to explore (mounds, winery, Granville, Heath, Alligator Mound,). Was a nice place to get away. We had fun visiting our kiddos at Denison. Looking forward to returning...maybe graduation weekend. Very memorable stay.
