wonderful location

Lovely stay

The Farmhouse is spacious and comfortable. It's location is stunning. 10 mins to the nearest shops. The complimentary wine was also appreciated

Idyllic Setting & Great Property

We had a wonderful vacation in the Loire Valley - property exactly as described. Great communication and help from Minnie, and on-site with Herve. Helpful information awaiting us in the property - would stay again for sure & will recommend to friends and family.

Rural idyll

The property was very spacious and characterful, and the estate manager could not have been more friendly or helpful. The countryside was very beautiful and very tranquil, but we were also close to many interesting towns and attractions. We had a lovely time.

What a lovely, peaceful position the gite is in - next to the beautiful Chateau Pas de Loup and surrounded by vineyards, forests and the wider countryside. The gite is extremely spacious and has a large kitchen, very comfortable sitting room and outside space- the two communal bathrooms are quite sparse and could perhaps be next on the list for refurbishment but they did their job. Finally the gite was perfect with a dog - lots of lovey walks in all directions alongside the vines and into the woods. Would definitely return again for another stay!

Beautiful peaceful cottage

Pas du Loup is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. The house was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Herve the property guardian was attentive and sorted an issue we had with the heating as soon as it was reported. There is a lovey walk around the estate grounds which we did a few times (just beware there is a lot of dog mess along the path at the top of vineyards, so you have to watch your step). The leaflets with ideas for days out were appreciated and we did Biopark, Breze chateau and Futuroscope. A really enjoyable week.

Peaceful

Clean and peaceful. Plenty of space inside and out for kids to run around. Good access to local facilities and recommendations but need a car to explore. Useful to have washing machine. Beds and linen nice quality and lots of hot water. Locally a welcoming and excellent boulangerie and butcher in Montsoreau. Excellent wine at Gratien & Meyer, Château Targé, La Grande Vignolle (Filliatreau) and particularly Cave Monplaisir in Chinon. Good chateaux for kids Ussé, Chinon and the gardens at Château de Rivau.

Nous avons été accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse au domaine Pas de Loup. Le gîte est très agréable et la région riche en activités. Les enfants ont été très impressionnés par la collection d'avions de chasse...

Gîte très agréable pour passer un séjour reposant entre amis

Un bien bel endroit

Même si l'arrivée de nuit n'a pas été des plus aisées, nous avons quand même réussi à le trouver. Mais ce n'est que le lendemain que nous avons pu apprécier pleinement le site. Le gîte quand à lui nous a tout de suite conquis, dès le soir de notre arrivée, notamment en termes de places. Les petits bémols : dommage qu'il n'y ait que 2 SDC+WC et le prix du ménage nous semble un peu élevé.

Super week-end entre copains

La maison est spacieuse et birn entretenue. Nous etions 4 couples d'amis et la maison etait tout a fait adaptée. Les chambres sont grandes, les espaces de vie plus que corrects. L'environnement est superbe et tres au calme. Nous recommandons.
