Perfect location for relaxing holiday

The villas are in a peaceful location but also conveniently located for several local tavernas, supermarkets and for going out and about. Car hire essential and villas are within an hour or so of Chania and Heraklion and approx 20 mins from Rethymno. Villa layout is good, very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and polite and offered lots of tips about places to eat/visit. We had one issue with no water one evening but George was on site within minutes and sorted the problem very quickly. Kitchen equipment a bit basic but most things there. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing get away from it type of holiday.

Small but accommodating

I visit Crete often and for the first time I'm staying in two new "mini pool condo" that are springing out across the island. Each is clean, modern and offers a/c. The villa I'm reviewing is small but will accommodate 4 people (2 bdrm.) The furniture layout works against the small villa as seating and dining is clustered into tight corners. The large tv/couch location feels like sitting in the front set of a theater. My main complaint with a caveat, is the cutlery. I had a serrated knife to cut veggies and the knife blade would bend trying to cut a carrot. Caveat is I have heard guests steal nice things, but please think like a cook and offer proper cutting utensils. Beds were comfy tho mine never had bedding offered. I did not contact to request as I sleep cool. Nice big pool. Great effort overall, needs more details addressed.

Thank you ever so much for this magnificent review and for your loyalty over all these years! We are delighted that you continue to appreciate the villa, its location near Rethymno, the tranquillity and our facilities. It is an honour to know that Maria and our team put a smile on your face with every visit. Your suggestions regarding the coffee machine, kitchen utensils and small details such as matches are very valuable. We shall certainly improve these points and explore the idea of a welcome basket with local products for l Kind regards, Oreotravel

Good evening, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your stay. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the villa's design, comfort, excellent location, and the quality of the beds and linens. It is also wonderful to know that Maria's warm hospitality and attentive service contributed positively to your experience. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to her. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive comments. Your observations regarding the storage space, the bathroom amenities, and the quantity of kitchenware are valuable, and we will share them with the property owner for consideration. Regarding the swimming pool, we understand your concerns about its uniform depth and accessibility. We appreciate you taking the time to explain how this affected your enjoyment, and your feedback will be carefully reviewed as we continue looking for ways to improve the guest experience. Thank you once again for your honest and thoughtful review. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even more enjoyable stay in the future.

Amazing place up in the hills

This place is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as it says in the description. Great if you want to get away from the main area of business but be in close enough distance. Highly recommend getting a car as it’s up in the hills but it’s everything you could want.
