Hello Robert, Thank you for your feedback. I personally met you for check-in and enjoyed spending some time showing you around Baycation. We had a great conversation about your dental practice and your interest in possibly making the move to the keys. It was a pleasant check-in, and at the time everything appeared to be going well, so I was genuinely surprised to learn in your review that you decided not to stay for your two night stay. The bedroom A/C was cooling, but I agree that it was struggling … It was super hot and given our temperatures, I consider an A/C issue something that warrants immediate attention. I keep my own home base in close proximity to Baycation so that if an urgent issue arrises during a guest stay, I can get there quickly and do everything possible to resolve it. Unfortunately, I never received a call or message letting me know that you were having an issue with the bedroom temperature or that you had decided not to stay, I would have responded immediately and done my best to resolve the situation while you were still there. Since you visit I have replaced the bedroom A/C with a brand new unit. I take great pride in Baycation and in being personally available and responsive to my guests. I always encourage guests to contact me right away if something isn’t as expected so I have the opportunity to make it right. I’m glad that, as you noted in your review, you found Baycation to be “just as advertised” and a “great house boat” :) thank you.
