Haripergo - a bridge for the Amalfi Coast

The flat is on the second floor of an historical building in the heart of the city center. the flat is composed by a big living room (with a sofa-bed) with a kitchen corner and a big table for lunch and dinner (6 people) two double rooms each one with private bathroom.

The name Haripergo comes from the word that the Longobardi used to indicate the guest house. Really close to the house the are a lot of places of interest like the monumental complex of S. Pietro a Corte (with its roman thermal baths) and the recently restored Palazzo Fruscione (often stage of cultural events).

The main goal we want to reach is to show the best aspects of our culture, inviting you to test the best local wines, showing you portrait made by local (and sometimes famous) artists and trying to succeed in making you in touch with our country : it's even possible with a reservation to have your personal chauffeur who will bring you wherever you want (Pompeii, Paestum, Vesuvius, Royal Palace of Caserta, Amalfi Coast) for a really affordable price. Summing up the intention is to offer to our guests all the pleasure that a good trip has.

- Smoking is not allowed inside;
- I hope that my guests will act in this guest house like if it was them home, in the respect of the location and feeling in a comfortable space.
- It is possible to organize transferation to the airport or to the interesting locations the guest want to visit by car, with an additional cost.

Licia and Domenico are the perfect hosts. Domenico met us near the apartment hours before check in. He allowed us to leave our lluggage before check in, then met us there again and helped us carry our luggage to the apartment . The apartment is lovely, much nicer than the photos. Two large bedrooms and two large bathrooms. They’ve thought about everything you’d need, coffee, cookies, fruit, oil, vinegar salt and pepper. There’s even a beach umbrella! The location is perfect for exploring the amalfi coast. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Of the 4 vrbos we stayed at on this trip, this one was our favourite.

you will be well taken care by the sweetest family that also live in the building. the place is a traditional building in old town, however maintained extremely well and comforting. spacious for a family of 4 we were very comfortable, safe neighbourhood, and the host makes sure you are well settled, have a comfy stay, and get everything you need. a bit difficult to arrange the taxi to the train station and the host arranged them for us, and they always showed up on time.

Great location and apartment

The apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean and centrally located within the city. The hosts were exceptional. Answered all our questions, very kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment.

Our stay in Salerno was terriffic. The location was great for exploring the city as well as providing easier access to explore other towns without having to navigate the Amalfi drive each time.Licia and Domenica were wonderful hosts and provided assistance with securing a parking garage spot for us prior to our arrival.Thank you so much!

The hosts were an 11 out of 10! They were warm and helpful with everything we needed. I was traveling with my mom and they checked in regularly to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The apartment is in a great part of Salerno (Centro Storico) and we could walk everywhere. The apartment had plenty of space, was well-appointed and very clean, and we particularly liked the comfortable beds. Each room had a small balcony in addition to the large outdoor patio. We loved the outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee daily. It was a great place to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, though with so much delicious food right at our doorstep, we didn’t cook much! Thank you for an extra extraordinary stay!

Salerno stay

Location was lovely. Close to lungomare and in historic old town. Two perfect bedrooms, comfortable, nice bathrooms. Fantastic porch. Very friendly host. Our absolute favorite place in Italy. Salerno is not a small city by any means, but as a tourist it felt like such a hidden gem and this apartment was ideal.

Great Old City Salerno location

Marta was great to work with, very helpful and responsive. The location in the old part of the city is very charming and the apartment provides easy walking distance to the Ferry and the Train station for day trips to Paestum, Amalfi Coast and Vietri Sul Mare. An evening walk down the Via dei Mercanti is a must do item.

Great apartment, great location, and wonderful host

The apartment was perfect for our trip with 4 people. The location was central and very close to everything. Marta met us at our drop off point and helped us with our luggage to the apartment. She went over everything and gave us some great tips on activities and restaurants. She left us some fruit and breakfast food. I highly recommend this property and will stay there again if ever back in Salerno. We loved it!

Good location, good terrace, interior needs some work

Overall good apartment. Location is great. It’s back in an alley but well lit. Spacious apartment and the host was very responsive. However there was a strong odor from the en suite bathroom that impacted our stay. There appears to be some plumbing problem.

Nice stay in the old city

The neighborhood was a real Italian neighborhood and not a tourist neighborhood of tiny, twisty streets and passageways. It was a bit loud all day and night with people talking very loudly. We closed the windows and used the A/C at night and it was quiet and we slept well. Our hosts communicated well and were very responsive to our requests.

Beautiful, clean, great location

My 81-year-old mom and I have stayed in eight different VRBO apartments in Europe, all wonderful, but she said this was her favorite! My 23-year-old daughter was also with us; she found the apartment very comfortable and conducive to sleep, which she tends to have trouble with. The apartment itself is lovely, and we so enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning. The location is excellent: a five-minute walk from the free beach, and also on the edge of the old-city (i.e., more charming) part of the main shopping district and lots of restaurants. Despite the proximity to so much action, it's tucked away in a courtyard and very quiet. Would definitely recommend!

2-week stay in Salerno

Master bedroom had constant smell of a sewer. Very unpleasant. Had to have windows open all the time. Very noisy with people reveling until 3am! Location was central. No tourist information/suggestions in the unit. If you didn’t have internet, which was intermittent at best, you couldn’t plan anything.

Middle of Salerno old town

Property was ok. Think more needs to be made of the internal stairs going to flat. They are very deep and steep. We were all over 75 and managed them but with luggage it was daunting. We stayed 10 days and would have appreciated clean sheets and towels half way through. Very little in the way of cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom. We had to request a broom and mop. None of this got too much in the way of a wonderful holiday. The apartment is difficult to find but local shopkeepers were very helpful.

Fantastic stay for our family of 5! Exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed staying in the old city portion of Salerno. Walkable to so many great spots, to the beach, the ferry, and to explore the neighborhood endlessly. The A/C was incredibly welcoming on our very hot days. The private patio was so nice. And best of all, the host/hostess were so helpful, communicative and friendly.

Exceeded expectations. The apartment has all the great amenities. There are 2 full bathrooms and a fully functional kitchen. The private patio is a huge plus. The hosts were excellent communicators and responded quickly. The location was close to shops and restaurants. It’s extremely clean and updated

Italy vacation

This apartment is in a great location in the middle of the charming historic center of Salerno and convenient to ferry terminals to the Amalfi Coast as well as the main train station. The property looked just like the pictures, was very clean, well-equipped with everything our family of 4 needed and the air conditioning worked great which was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely Apartment in Old Town

The apartment was great - clean, spacious, well-equipped with a lovely patio. We loved the location - minutes to shops, groceries, and loads of great restaurants. Easy walk to Molo Manfredi pier (Amalfi Coast boat tours, fast ferry to Capri), Santa Teresa beach, etc. Just two things you may want to consider: there are about 15 tall stair steps up to the apartment, and if you have a car the parking garage is about a 15-minute walk. But that’s the trade-off for being in the heart of the Old Town, and it worked out great for us. … p.s. if you have a car, definitely go south to Paestum for the Greek ruins and the buffalo mozzarella.

Perfect Perch in Salerno

The apartment exceeded our expectations, and provided a comfortable base for our family of four from which we explored Salerno, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Our stay was perfection!

A great place

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved Salerno's old town and Lungomare, and it was very convenient to catch the ferry to Amalfi and Positano. The apartment was well kept and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen- there was also a lovely deck with a grill. Hosts Alessandra and Marta were very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

A perfect spot for Christmas (and any other time)

Situated in the heart of the old town but in a quiet bit this is the ideal spot for enjoying the lovely town of Salerno. The property is excellently kitted out and has two very good bathrooms. All the rooms are of a good size, the fruits and breakfast goods were a lovely touch. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and if we are lucky enough to go back to Salerno we hope We can stay there again. Doreen and David
