The host was great. We were able to check in early and the check out process was simpler than any other short term rental stay I’ve ever done. The apartment was well equipped and the outside area is just what we wanted. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely property in Lisbon

Lovely property ideal situated to access Lisbon. The property was clean and comfortable and the outside area was amazing. Joana was very approachable and helpful.

Wonderful apartment

Three of us stayed here and found the site very spacious, clean, well-equipped and lovely. The host Jose was terrific and provided many suggestions for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We didn’t rent a car so we didn’t need to park. There are little stores and cafe’s around the corner. José’ was great in welcoming us with wine and treats and information about the area.

Simply beautiful

Beautiful, clean, and well-equipped accommodation with a personal touch. We were personally and very warmly welcomed by José. Our stay at Graça Garden Home was perfect and we felt very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this property! The hosts were extremely accommodating. Gave us a warm welcome and tutorial when we arrived. They were always prompt in answering our questions. Short walk to the bus and small local shops.

The apartment is comfortable and roomy and has a patio and a nice terrace which is very unusual for Lisbon. It’s an easy walk to shopping and the old city. Jose, the owner, was extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Well equipped and conveniently located apartment.

Very accommodating host that communicated clearly. Not in the center of town but easy to get to the main attractions. Close to mass transit and walkable neighborhood. Nice garden area as part of the apartment.

A wonderful stay

A wonderful apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. A great place to relax after a busy day. The private garden is perfect in the evening. It is an easy walk to coffee, the market, and food. The apartment is clean, modern, attractive and quiet. Jose is wonderful. We look forward to being able to stay again in the future.

The best vacation home ever!

My friends and I stayed at Graca Gardens for our first time visiting Lisbon and loved it! Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We also loved the outdoor garden areas; it was so nice to have our own outdoor space to relax and we used it every day of our stay. For location, it was very easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go from the apartment. We especially liked walking since we could sight-see around Lisbon as we walked. Definitely the nicest vacation home!!

perfect home base

this location was close to transit and lovely local restaurants and cafes; we were four people and did not mind sharing a bathroom...there was lots of space our host was most gracious and left thoughtful little treats for us - wine, bread and fruit were wonderful after a long journey; José was also very responsive and we did not wait long for answers to our questions

Lovely oasis

This apartment is everything we needed as a base in Lisbon. we were able to walk to a great grocery,lovely little restaurants, and our host was wonderful . He organized a private day long tour to Sintra and Cascais with a wonderful guide . The neighborhood is middle between types of housing .we felt very safe but lots of construction and a little bit of garbage problem because of it . I would stay there again. It has the most surprising lovely private garden ever and the host is wonderful.

Excellent...

We had a lovely time! José is very kind and lovely, and had a binder ready with lots of recommendations. The place was very well stocked, and he has great attention to detail. He welcomed us with our very first pastel de nata which was delightful.

Great home base for visiting Lisbon

Jose was an excellent host! Met us upon arrival and walked us through the apartment. It was comfortable and clean and Jose gave us some fruit, bread, and wine to get us started. Easy walk to nearby stores. There’s a great what-to-do in Lisbon note book that noted how far things are from the apartment. The garden area was a nice addition too.

Excellent place to stay

The apartment is clean, quiet and spacious for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed. Jose met us, checked us in and gave us the names of good restaurants. The garden is very special. Our only hesitation is the location — you need to be willing to take a taxi/Uber or walk a half-hour to get to the downtown areas. We didn’t have a car (driving one in Lisbon looked suicidal). Would definitely stay there again.

exceeded expectations

If we could give Jose a 10, we would. The place was in a great location, he was gracious, helpful, and kind. Great recommendations for local spots of interest. Our family had two separate departure times and he assisted w/ airport logistics. I couldn’t say enough kind words about the stay in Lisbon. Hidden gem ;)

Very nice stay

It was an awesome stay, and central to most of what we wanted to do. Jose was very communicative and kind. One thing to keep in mind for future guests is the quiet hours, 10pm can’t make much noise after that. As Americans we weren’t aware of that. Other than the quiet hours, I would give this rental a 5/5. It was clean, and as advertised. I felt safe the entire time as well.

great garden, spacious, clean, well-equipped

This home is spacious and provided plenty of space and all the kitchen needs for being in Lisbon for work for several days. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful for issues that came up while we were at the house, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and provided great input and support for some tourist adventures nearby. There are many stairs to get to the garden so could be a challenge for elderly or young children, but is lovely spot for coffee or wine and hanging out.

A Touch of Portugal

Jose was a very good host. He supplied the place with many essentials like kitchen spices, welcome fruit basket, fresh milk and tonic water along with access to personal care items such as sunscreen. It's a nice retreat in the garden to come back to after a day of sightseeing. :)

Graça Garden Home stay

Graça Garden Home We stayed at Graça Garden Home from July 5th to 13th, 2018 and very much enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal and short walk to the market and a pleasant walk to Alfama and downtown. Jose was a wonderful host and checked in to make sure we felt right at home. There were snacks for us on arrival which was helpful after a long flight and the apartment was clean and safe with a nice back-yard for relaxing. Jose was a great host and even showed toured our family around with his car which was above and beyond what we expected. Great stay and thanks again Jose!! Best, Adatia Family

Magic garden home

The apartment is comfortable, the gardens in the back so perfect for breakfast and when you get home at night. It was easy to grab Ubers to/from and we had the best meal at a restaurant near by. Grocery stores close also. The host is amazing, had wine, and some essentials for us (so thoughtful). He explained what was around and was so accessible if needed. Alough it feels funny to get to the neighborhood the first time, you will be happy to stay here. I would come back!

A Lovely Out-of-the Way Place to Stay

This property worked out well for two friends who wanted to explore Lisbon without staying in the heart of the city. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, we came back to our lovely apartment and spent a lot of time upstairs in the second level of our garden. We got around town by using Ubers that were readily available and prompt. The one slight drawback for me was that the neighborhood where this Vrbo is located didn't have that much to offer. We could walk to some mini-marts and a few restaurants but it wasn't the kind of neighborhood where you could spend a day stumbling in and out of interesting places.

Perfect host and lovely apartment

We stayed for 3 nights in Jose's apartment, we had a wonderful time. Jose was very accommodating with check in and departure times, and the milk, tea, coffee and other food left for us was very much appreciated. Such a wonderful host, available for any questions during our stay and so friendly and welcoming. The outside gardens were a great to sit out in after a long day's site seeing. We walked into the center each morning (about 25/30 mins) and got an uber home each night, €4/5. Ubers in general are such good value for money. We would definitely return to Lisbon, a great city. Great stay at Grace Garden Home

Enjoyed our stay at Grace Garden Home. We definitely got lost trying to find our way a few times but there is easy access to the 28 tram, train and other buses to Lisbon or Expo attractions. An Uber to most places $6.00 and to Sintra $22.00. The accommodations were clean, plenty of hot water and a private out door space. Our host made certain we were comfortable. He went beyond what was expected, fresh flowers,fruits, coffee, tea and water. We settled in comfortably. I would definitely return. In the future.
