Efi's apartment is comfortable and well-appointed, in a great location in Athens--close enough to Plaka to walk comfortably, but less overwhelmed with constant tourist traffic, and with good markets and restaurants nearby. She is very responsive and helps to make the whole experience positive, including connecting us with her driver who took very good care of us.

Apartment was great! Location and amenities and short walks to everything you want to see! Only downside was a handheld shower…would stay again and probably will!

Location was great! Host arranged for an airport transfer for us which was nice, Cute apartment but it was not as nice the pictures reflected, appliances dated, some of the pots and pans need to be thrown out, we had a duvet cover on our bed with nor insert. The shower wand had to be held and there was no door so you needed to be extra careful or water would be everywhere. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location. Walking distance to Acropolis, markets and restaurants. Felt very safe. Great communication with host. Not used to European hand held shower. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet in the evenings.

Great apartment with a great location. Air conditioning worked really well and on those hot days was much needed. Nice view from the balcony. Efi was super accommodating and let us check in early because our cruise docked early in the morning. Efi also helped set up transportation with his driver Spiros. Spiros was also great offering great suggestions for places to see and eat. My family had a wonderful stay and the location made it easy to explore the city.

Property was just as listed. Clean, comfortable apartment right in the heart of Athens and convenient to acropolis and toPier for cruise. Host was communicative and responsive and helpful with setting up airport transfer. Would definitely stay again if back in Greece!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was super convenient:short walk to Acropolis and other sites. Efi responded very quickly to all of our inquiries.

Property is in a great location. We walked all around. Found plenty of great restaurants, a good grocery store only a few blocks away and a tour company to arrange to see the Acropolis. Overall, we highly recommend this VRBO...

Host communication was exceptional! Apartment was as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed the balconies. Secure building with an elevator. Check in and out were very easy.

When we travel, we love to walk about and explore our location. Efi's apartment was perfect for this: you'll be hard pressed to find anything better located - and at a very affordable price.Spyros - our driver from the airport arranged by Efi - was a fantastic guide. The rule of thumb is to follow every his every suggestion. We checked in through Spyros and the whole process took about 5 minutes.The apartment was thoroughly cleaned for our arrival. While there are some odd design choices, the apartment was appealing, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. We did wish it had a microwave as the ground floor of the building has a fantastic takeout place with different dishes every day. No microwave meant we had to eat it immediately or eat it cold later as the stove/oven wasn't practical. There could have been more cutlery, and more and better quality cooking pots and pans. However, there are tons of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of excellent quality so if cooking isn't your thing, you'll be fine.Others have posted about the shower and it's a thing. It's handheld mounted about waist-high. You can't bathe in the shower tub. There is no shower curtain to prevent water from spraying outside the shower. We managed, but this really should be addressed. It's a lovely apartment, but the shower as it is will have significant effects on the bathroom.Overall, it's a great apartment close to everything you want to see - and we loved the view from the balcony.

This apartment is in the prefect location for walking the city and visiting local attractions such as the Acropolis and Parthenon. We were surrounded in every direction with multitude of tavernas and only a 10-15 minute walk to the Acropolis. The apartment itself is clean and updated with all the basic amenities except for a microwave. It is on the 4th floor of a small apartment building with a secure entrance and an elevator. The balcony was lovely for sitting out early in the morning for coffee or late in the evening. The size is perfect for a couple. Our host also arranged our chauffeur from the airport and back; which is a lovely convenience. We would definitely stay again.

Positives: Host was pleasant to deal with. Location of apartment is excellent. Mattress was firm. Negatives: air conditioners (two) stopped functioning on the third of our four day into our stay, resulting in a very uncomfortable situation. Instructions were given for neither the stove, which had to be reset to work, or washing machine, which also had to be reset. We spent about an hour on Youtube figuring out how to make both of these machines work. The washing machine, as it turns out, required us to turn off power to the unit and then open and close the door 16 times-not something we would have been able to figure out for ourselves! Instructions for both should have been prominently displayed in the apartment. Host told us that the washing machine instructions were in a drawer, but it turns out the only document there was a picture of the front of the machine! If Efi solves these issues it will be a perfectly fine place to stay.

I checked the air conditioners after your departure and the mode was set to heat. I wrote you a message that the snowflake should appear on the screen, not the sun. There was a page with operating instructions of the washing machine. All of my previous guests used the washing machine without a problem.

Great place in Athens

Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment in Athens that is close to Acropolis, Plaka, and all the great restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend, and would stay there again!

Our host Efi was fantastic and all communication was ‘spot on’. The apartment was even better than expected and the location was perfect. We would expect to stay again in 2026 and have already recommended it to friends.

The property was in an excellent location for touring the area. Communication with Efi was great and effortless. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. Having a washing machine for our clothes was great since we were over a week into our vacation and needed to wash some. There was no dryer, but there was a good sized rack on the balcony that worked great. The apartment was well laid out. The air conditioning worked great. I didn’t like that you had to pull the key when leaving the apartment that killed the power to all outlets, so our devices would not charge when we were out. The place could use a little more cleaning attention. My wife gets freaked out at hair, and there was quite a bit of dark hair around mostly on the floor around places like the toilet. I think the biggest disappointment was the shower. There was no shower per se. There was a wash basin to stand in and a wand to wash off with that. It was also right next to a massive window with a pull-down blind. Poor design in my opinion. Water would get everywhere. If you are the type of person who likes to come home after a long day of sightseeing and take a nice relaxing shower, this isn’t the place for that.Other than that, we enjoyed our experience. For the price, I think it is a nice place to stay.

Beautiful, Central, Clean & Convenient

Great host, beautiful accommodations, central location. Lots of great restaurants nearby, walking distance to grocery stores, fantastic restaurants, museums & acropolis. HIGHLY recommend!
