The villa was fanatastic and John was a great host. He was extremely helpful and always happy to answer any queries we had as soon as he could. We stayed as 3 families with young kids and they loved the two pools. It is also a very short walk to shops and restaurants which was fantastic. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect stay for family get together

Plenty of room for the 7 of us Great facilities- a fully functional kitchen and laundry a bonus Quieter area of Phuket- so peaceful at night and mornings on the patio Good local restaurants some 200mtrs or so from villa for breakfast and dinner Beach an easy 2kms away The host John was very attentive and went above and beyond The airport pickup was seamless

Beautiful home, everything one needs is on the property. A ten out of ten!

This was a wonderful vacation for our whole family. The house accomadated 8 adults and 5 children with ease. The pool and the grounds lived up to the pictures, really beautiful surroundings. The location was ideal, very walkable to the beach, restaurants and shops. John was an amazing host, providing any assistance needed. We really looked at the reviews and we wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Our stay at phuket

We had the most wonderful time the villa was brilliant but be careful of extra electric charges as the maids put on the aircon when we didn’t want it or when we was out and it all adds up. The villa has everything you need and more the staff are lovely and overal we had the most amazing time. John the host was there for us when ever we needed him Thank you for making our stay fantastic

Thanks for the review and I would like to add some clarification to your points about the electric charge. 1. Our staff are instructed to turn off the AC when they are cleaning and the guests are away. 2. The over use was probably due to your extensive use of the large AC unit in the lounge and not ensuring doors and windows are closed whilst the AC is in use. 3. We showed you our bills for the past months and your usage was about 50% over the average usage for similar ocupancy and the electric we provide free included in the rental (120 Units per day) generally covers what most most guests consume. 4. We only charge at the government rate for overuse and there is no financial benefit to us when guests go over the limit. 5. We agreed immediatley to reduce the extra charge by about 60% to ensure that you left the Villa as a happy guest. Trust makes the situation clear.

Great stay with Mountain Wiew Villas

We had a fantastic stay in the villa. My husbond and I invited our children with families to come with us to Phuket to celebrate my husbond turning 80 in Nowember, and I booked at John Harradine Mountain Wiew Villas, and it was a great choice! We where total 12 persons, and everyboby agreed that the villa very nice, spacious, clean and everything was fine. We had a wonderful time together, and I want to thank Mr. John for being a nice and helpful host! We will tell everyboby about this place and recommend it highly! Best regards Tone

French group of 18p

We were 18p (10 adults and 8 children). We really enjoyed our stay in Mountain View villa. The villa is perfect for 18p, large pool, confortable bedroom and beds. John is nice and always available for advices. We took the catering services of a chef. The chef and his wife were kind and perfect. They have prepared and served all kind of meals that we want, especially nice thai food. The villa is placed closed to a lot of shops and restaurant. We really recommend this villa and all the services belong.

Beyond Expectations

To say we were excited to get to the Villa was an understatement, but when we arrived we were blown away. We had 11 people staying together and not once did it feel crowded. The pools are fantastic, the wifi more than satisfied three teenagers and the bedrooms and ensuites were spacious, clean and well maintained. The attentiveness of the friendly staff was excellent and unintrusive. The villa is 100 metres off the main road and facing the mountains which made it quiet and peaceful. Heaps of fantastic places to eat, get massages or hang at a bar watching a game. Thank you John for providing us with everything we needed and attending to us with such a positive attitude, even though you are not 100% at the moment. As I said to you, you have my dream job.

Perfect getaway

This was a fantastic vacation for our family which included 6 adults and 1 teen. The house provided very comfortable accommodations with ensuite bathrooms. The house felt very spacious and the pictures depicted in the listing do not do the property justice as it's so much better in person. John is very attentive to his guests. He kept in contact throughout the booking process, just prior to arrival and personally checked our group in upon arrival. John checked in with us during our stay to assist with anything we may need. We did have a medical emergency with one in our group (food poisoning from the US) and John made a point to check in on her well being. Ultimately she was transported to the hospital by John's driver, Khai, where she received great treatment and was able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Mountain View Villa One is set back off of the main street on a small court which made you feel like you were very secluded and away from the hustle and bustle. The location of the villa made it easy to walk to restaurants, bars, convenient stores, pharmacies, shops, markets, and cafes. Khai was very responsive throughout our stay with arranging transportation to many locations outside of the Rawai area. Chef Jokher and his son were outstanding! We were not dissapointed with any meals during our 10 day stay. If you are considering chef services, this is the way to go. Maid staff, pool and gardening services were not intrusive and were quick about their duties. There was plenty of seating around the pool for meals, playing board and card games and relaxing on chaise loungers. The pool always felt refreshing day and night. The backyard has a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills which made for amazing sunset photos. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you John for your hospitality and great conversations!!

John was a great host to his amazing property. Easily accommodated us 4 adults and 4 teens and had everything we needed for a relaxing 2 weeks. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Phuket.

Great stay

Very nice villa and a great host who frequently checked if everything was good. Excellent arrangement with taxi which came to the villa when we wanted, and really nice to have massage on the sunbeds. All in all a great place to spend the holiday.

Rawai Mountain Villa

John house is amazing! His staff maintains the property daily and keeps it in tip top shape. John is always available for any questions regarding day trips, transportation, or any questions about the house. The house is quietly tucked a block off the main road allowing us to walk for any supplies or restaurants that we may need and at the same time never hearing any traffic. Our group had a perfect vacation

More than we expected

John was an amazing host. He allowed us to view the property last year when we were looking for a wedding venue. Found the property online and the pictures didnt do the property any justice. It was simply amazing. John offered to help us through setting up for our special day. The location is amazing for large groups and families who want to avoid the Patong craziness. I couldnt fault the property or Johns hospitality.

Wery nice place. good place in bedromms and a wonderfull pool. Lovely owners.

We had 16 days in this wonderfull place. It was perfect with its pool for our kids. We enjoyed the service of the recomended catering for a barbeque evening. The owner was always helpful and helped us with every need. This is a perfect place for big families or several familys. we will go back again as soon we can. Thank you John

Spacious and luxurious

Our family had a great stay in Mountain View villas. The location was in a quiet yet central place close to beaches and shoppes. The villa itself were very spacious, clean, modern and overall very nice! The pool was amazing! John was a great host that was very helpful and friendly! Always there to answer your questions. The other staff at the villa was also very nice and friendly. To summaries; Perfect stay in a beautiful house with amazingly friendly staff! Will definitely come back one day.

Location perfect, Clean, Amenities 5 star, John the owner extremely helpful and attentive

Mountain View Villa 1 was the perfect home to stay for our family of 12. John's home was clean and very accessible to all the local Bars, restaurants and convenience stores and the house was perfect for our family that included small children, teenagers, adults (including very easy for wheel chair accessibility). The House staff were really friendly and did not impact on our privacy and enhanced our holiday making sure we had clean towels and linen, clean bathrooms and kitchen for our stay. We did not really need to leave the house as the two pools and the outside area were very comfortable. The outside dining areas were utilized very day even when we had some rain we are able to sit outside. Kai the house drive was available to take us t some of the local and far tourist sites as a group which was really nice to be able to travel as a group. I would recommend Mountain View Villa 1 to anyone that wants a relaxing, luxurious Phuket experience. Great valiue for money

Memorable 3 generations family of 15 -- A perfect holiday

Detailed well planned arrangements with owner John made us feel relaxed. The driver and chef are so obliging and we could order what we liked even the barbeque was terrific. Only complaint was the room in the basement which had mosquitoes and centipedes crawling in at night. Many restaurants nearby and we drove to see the sunset at Promthep cape nearby.Our grandchildren really enjoyed jumping and swimming in the pool daily. John even gave us a bottle of wine and refunded money for the electricity we underutilised!

Luxury and refinement, with a real touch of class

If anything, the initial property description (since updated) undersold this excellent property. I guess that was a reflection of its English owner and his partner. Our party of 13 spent 2 weeks in this lavish residence, spoiled rotten by the proprietor and his staff. The pleasant maids were ever present and on-hand to attend to our every need, re-appearing almost as if they had a sixth sense. The attention to detail in the build and maintenance of this property is impeccable. The proximity to nice and affordable restaurants is great so we relied less this time on having a full-time chef. I would recommend this villa to anyone interested in visiting Phuket, not just for the reasons stated above, but also because the owner puts in a whole lot of effort into making your stay on the island as good as possible, a great ambassador for Phuket.

Superbes vacances

La description de la maison reflete bien la réalité, tres belle villa , tres prope et entretenue tous les jours,la literie est parfaite, magnifique piscine .Nous avions opté pour les petits déjeuners et quelques soirées barbecue nous ne l avons pas regretté , le personnel est d une gentillesse extreme . Nous n avons eu aucune mauvaises suprises , john le propriétaire est une personne vraiment sympathique et vous donne de bons conseils sur les choses a faire dans la region . Si nous revenons un jour en Thaïlande on reviendra dans cette villa

Relaxing quiet spot in Phuket

We stayed in the villa with 2 other couples who had children and it was very well laid out to accommodate all of us and our different room requirements. The villa was beautifully furnished and the pool and lovely gardens were great. There was free wi-fi, and washing machine facilities. The rooms were lovely with comfy beds, affective air-con and en-suite bathrooms. You weren't able to flush toilet paper, so had to use the water hose to wash. The location was quiet and relaxing, but still walking distance to a few restaurants and cafes, and further afield by taxi. The villa was secured by gates, and had a parking area so easy to hire a car. The owner was nearby so always on hand should we need anything. Overall it was a lovely villa and very suited to families and couples, giving options to be together or have quiet time apart.

Great stay in these 2 villas

18 of us stayed in John's 2 villas for 9 days. Its a great spot for a group.. very hi-spec buildings and fantastic pools for the kids. Recommended.

Прекрасная вилла. Отличный вид на горы. Огромный бассейн (даже когда все 12 человек из нашей компании в нем находились - было достаточно комфортно). Большие удобные спальни. Отличное обслуживание. Рядом в двух км красивейший безотельный пляж на котором отдыхают в основном местные (в основном русские))) жители, поэтому на нем достаточно чисто и не многолюдно. Рядом с виллой куча ресторанчиков и магазинчиков. Отдельное спасибо хозяину виллы - Джону, очень приветливый и веселый человек. С удовольствием приедем еще раз.
