The main house has 2 master suites with a fun giant sleeping room that sleeps 12 people. The new attached guest house has 2 additional bedrooms and a separate bathroom. The 1200 sq. ft screened in wraparound porch is perfect for ping pong and other games. Great for large family reunions or Fl. Gator games. (Gainesville is 30 mins away)

Great getaway retreat

Property was amazing! The lake view was beautiful and plenty of space for outdoor activities especially for a bigger group. The inside was open and spacious and gives you summer camp vibes for adults. Kitchen was fully equip and we had everything we needed during our stay.

Blessed

We found this property while searching for an escape from hurricane Milton, we needed something for 21 of us to be safe and most places were already taken, to our surprise we found a lil piece of Heaven.. House was awesome, the Lake even better! But even better was the owners graciousness and generosity in our time of distress! We were truly blessed to find this home…. 🙏

Family Get together

The space and location were perfect. We wanted a place on the lake that had a great dock and could accommodate our whole family to celebrate my mom’s birthday! This place checked all those boxes. Small nit picks, but should not detract from this great property. dryer didn’t work, Could have been a little cleaner. Need better boat cleats on the dock. Be nice if main bedroom had a King bed and the mattresses were a little higher quality.

Perfect

The property was amazing, host ultra cool, and the entire process perfect…. Dock and house in excellent condition, super sweet screened porch and the landscaping was beautiful… plenty of room for lots of guests and privacy for everyone as well. It was a phenomenal stay and we will definitely come again !

Great family stay

My family and I stayed here for a week full of events! The home is very spacious and provides a great space for a large group -- plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and beds; multiple refrigerators; open kitchen and living room area; and an excellent outdoor space!

Ringing in 2024 with family!!!

We had a great time with family...several did a littke fishing off the dock and even caught a nice bass . put it back in the water...needed more cups for coffee because it was cold but we managed...just loved being with each other and ringing in 2024..thabjs for sharing the lake house with us Mark....

Fabulous getaway

Wonderful location for the family to come together and relax. The property is definitely off the beaten path, but the house and surroundings are well worth the journey!

Fun long weekend

This was an enjoyable stay, the place was clean, owner responded to all my questions, the place had all the equipment we needed to cook and BBQ, the view of the lake is incredible. Will come back again.

Amazing graduation and family reunion location

We loved our stay at The Lake House! The house is perfect for a large gathering and accommodated is perfectly. Everything was working and clean. Plenty of kitchen stuff to cook for a large crowd. The dock is gorgeous and in great shape. Great location to get out of the hubbub of the city and enjoy lake front quiet time. The yard is huge and there is plenty of parking. Thank you to the fabulous owners for an amazing weekend! We will definitely be back!

Family lake retreat

The property has tons of space and amazing views of the lake. The setting is spectacular and couldn't be more relaxing. Everyone in our group had their own space and the place was very well equipped. My only suggestion would be to update the listing to reflect that a couple things we counted on were no longer there... Gas grill, Cornhole game. We left our game at home thinking we didn't need to bring it. We played other games and used the charcoal grill instead. Not a big deal. Last comment is that there isn't much comfortable seating in the living area for a property taylored for such large groups. The lake and the view are the real gem here. Perfect setup for spending outdoor time. The host was responsive to questions/issues. Thank you Mark.

Perfect location

It was wonderful location on lake with big deck and big yard. Plenty of games for kids and very responsive host. Would come back again

Wedding weekend, lake house stay for wedding party

Gators v LSU

Lake was beautiful. Home was amazing. Cozy. Quaint. 30 min from Gainsville. This place seemed like a family loves it, cares for it, enjoys ling stays. Uber not avaliable. Make sure transportation is arranged ahead of time. I booked a 15 person van from enterprise. Worked perfectly. Months in advance. Just an fyi for future tenants. Out of town is the best place to be.

Amazing property Mark was a big help. Great place for family did a lot of skiing and fishing

The adults and kids had a great time. A lot of eating fishing and pulling knee boarders and tubes. One of the most relaxing places we have rented

Great stay - beautiful yard and lake!

Loved this property. Nobody wanted to leave. The location is rural - very quiet & peaceful. We had large gatherings so sitting around the dock & gathering in the large living spaces was fantastic. Everyone had room and sleeping arrangements were plentiful.

Gatornationals Family Reunion

This is our 5th year staying at the Lake House. We have a new generation of our children joining us now. The host is very quick at responding to any questions we have. We always are counting the days our next year vacation.

Beautiful view

The house was nice but not worth the price. House could have been cleaner. Beds are not very comfortable. Had to replace light bulbs, which was not a major deal in comparison to dealing with the plumbing issues. From day one, one load of laundry and 4 showers in, we couldn’t flush toilets and standing water in the guest shower. We only had 12 adults and 2 kids. The property and view of the lake was beautiful! Will not stay again due to plumbing.
