We had the best stay at Sea Breeze. The house is beautiful with everything we needed and more! The toys and games were a huge bonus for entertaining the children. The views were also stunning. We had a really lovely time!

We had a really lovely stay. The property is amazing with lots of space and great views of the sea. Our kids loved all the toys and games available to play with. There were lovely walks in either direction so we had a great time exploring and lucked out with some March sunshine! Would definitely recommend.

Stunning seaside house

We had such a fabulous stay - so comfortable and welcoming with the most amazing views of the sea. It was a property that felt so roomy that everyone had space and privacy but we also had lovely areas that we could hang out in . Wouldn’t hesitate to book again, the hosts were perfect to in all there communications

Gorgeous house in a stunning setting. Our extended family of 12 appreciated the cleanliness, lovely neutral decor and the layout suited our configuration of different ages and genders. The roads and towns of Cornwall during Summer are v busy so it was a lovely respite to come back to the tranquility of Sea Breeze. The walks on SW Coast are stunning and some walks to the beaches were a bit of a scramble for one of our older family members. The house is well equipped and two dishwashers were genius! It could do with a simple Espresso machine so I am glad I brought a spare and used the pods supplied. Understandably, there were no food staples of any kind in cupboards apart from a few teabags, milk, sugar and instant coffee. Be prepared and bring whatever you would use on a daily basis. It could also do with a decent BBQ as the brick built in one proved a bit inefficient, the rack was too high above where the coals are placed to cook properly. Beware the parking situation as we had 4 cars for the 3 spaces available. Overnight parking is not permitted in any of the public car parks during the Summer. We squashed the 4 cars in the space (3 in allocated spots and one horizontal) which required quite a bit of juggling every day but worked okay.

Outstanding location ... but ...

We visited in December and on arrival it was freezing cold in the property. No logs to make one fire on arrival, even though told a starter kit would be available. Heating took 24 hrs to warm the house, we had to go to Driftwood to get 2 plug in heaters for our first evening, it was really cold! Also local knowledge that the pub in walking distance was seasonal, and therefore closed during our stay, would have been useful, as we’d planned to make use of that. Yes, a beautiful location, but the property is a bit tired and grubby; hot water supply not enough for 4 adults to shower, big puddle by front door the whole time and water damage evident in wooden entrance. Beds were lovely, comfortable and nice bedding ... this review is to inform the owner in case they are not aware. Dawn, Richard, Diane & Tony

Fantastic place

We have been coming to porthcurno for years, but this has to be the best house we’ve stayed in here. We loved our stay at Seabreeze - such a lovely house , spacious, clean, homely and well equipped, with the most amazing views ! It was the perfect place for our extended family get together. We walked miles on the coastal path, saw a great show at the minack, played games on the beach (Porth Chapel, 10 mins walk is our favourite) and spent lots of time relaxing in the house and garden. The kitchen is so well equipped, we ate in every night - enjoyed eating, chatting and playing games in the gorgeous conservatory with its magical view and twinkly fairy lights! Jessica has been great at communicating and answering any questions . Thank you so much- we highly recommend your place and hope to return!

Fantastic house in breathtaking location

What an incredible location in the depths of Cornwall, with stunning coastline and beaches on the doorstep! Porthcurno, Porthchapel and Pedn Vounder beaches are within walking distance of the house and not to be missed. The sea views from the house are stunning and was a delight waking up to the sun shimmering over the ocean in the morning. The house was the perfect place to gather together for the weekend with a well-equipped kitchen to cook meals, conservatory and large dining table to eat together and massive sofas to sprawl on and watch films. The bedrooms are all super comfy and was plenty of space for 6 of us and a dog. Jessica made booking easy and has been a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be returning to Sea Breeze in the future!

A piece of heaven

Stunning views, gorgeous beaches, quietness, wonderful bird life . Leave your car at home, avoid the crowds on the roads, walk the coastal paths, visit the local beaches or minack theatre. Great for families, walkers, birdwatchers, sun worshippers . We visited penlee Park to watch an outdoor theatre production which was excellent. We also did a boat trip and were lucky enough to see a rare sight....bottle nosed dolphins swimming abreast of the boat. The Cornish folk are friendly and helpful. You will wish that you owned this house.

Wonderful setting!

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze Cottage. There was plenty of space for the whole family, the kitchen was beautifully decorated and well stocked with utensils (even the knives were sharp which was a rare treat). We loved having the upstairs loft for the two of us while the kids each enjoyed their own room downstairs. The view over the sea from the deck and windows of the house was wonderful and as we were there in winter we pretty much had the beaches to ourselves. It was a little cold but then we did choose to go in March and right after a snow storm!
