Declan was a great host. The apartment was very spacious and well laid out.There was alway plenty of space at the pool. Very close to the supermarket, town centre and lots of restaurants.We would 100% recommend this apartment.

Declan’s Denia appartement is spacious, comfortable and very well situated next to the marina. The residence is very calm in May; we systematically had the decent sized pool to ourselves. We had a hire-car and the secure underground parking is a definite plus, but if you don’t, it is perfectly possible to do everything on foot as the town and beaches are within easy walking distance.It’s our fourth stay with Declan, who is very responsive and accommodating, accepting a late check in and a late check out to fit around our flight times. A Welcome Pack awaits you on arrival, which is much appreciated when you are on a late flight.Thank you Declan. We’ll be back!

The apartment is quite spacious and was very convenient for us with 6 persons. The airconditioning is keeping the rooms cool during summer. Kitchen has everything to cook a great meal and the pool and beach / port closeby are beautiful. Well recommended.

Lovely apartment with very large sunkissed terraces, excellent location, gorgeous pool, highly recommend. Very helpful host. You can’t go wrong with this place!

We had a great time. Denia is a lovely town and seems to be a big hit with Spanish tourists which is always a good sign. The apartment was comfortable for the four of us. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Overall the apartment was a little tired which is why only four stars but we would recommend the apartment and the location which was close to the beach and the town. Underground parking was also a welcome benefit too.

Fabulous property in a lovely location

This property was perfect for our family holiday. Gated community very close to the beach and marina with an easy walk into town. The property had everything we needed and the terrace was a lovely space to chill. We all loved the pool area and it was great place to come back to after a day of exploring. The instructions and attention to detail from the host were excellent. Overall a fabulous place to stay

Very clean, nicely equiped. A bit strange to recieve/send the keys by post. Worked fine however. Can recommend!

Amazing Condo with Beach across the street

Declan was amazing and helped us through the checkin along with paces to eat in the area. There is a small market and pharmacy a block away that will have what you need. The large grocery store is just minutes by car or a short 15-20 min walk. The master bedroom is perfect on the ground floor so no stairs. There are 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs as well along with a terrace for each side of the property. Kitchen has a large fridge and everything you need. The massage terrace off the living room was amazing. Plenty of space for a large family. You wont be disappointed if you rent here.

Excellent accommodation : lives up to 5-star rating

We had a great holiday in Declan’s appartement, which certainly lives up to its five-star rating. Thank you to Declan who is very quick to respond to any queries and organized a late check-in for us. Thanks also to his local representative, Hana, who welcomed us for an even later check-in than planned, due to the late arrival of our flight. A very generous welcome pack awaited us and was highly appreciated as the restaurants in the area were no longer serving at midnight. Declan’s appartement is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, perfect for our party of five. We stayed in June, and had the communal pool to ourselves on several occasions. Declan has complied a useful guide with places to visit, recommendations for dining. We would definitely recommend this appartement for a holiday in Denia

We were very pleased with the apartment and its equipment – it had everything we needed and more! We were traveling as a group of seven, including two adults and five kids, and the space was absolutely perfect for us.The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped. It has everything you might need during your stay. The living room is lovely and cozy – a great place to relax together as a group. There are actually three terraces, which was such a nice surprise, giving us lots of outdoor space to enjoy the sun and the views.We were also really impressed with the overall quality and comfort of the apartment. The area is absolutely amazing – peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. The swimming pool is lovely, very accessible, and not overcrowded at all, which made it perfect for the kids and for some quiet time.Denia itself is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants, charming places to walk around, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are really happy with our holiday and can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to relax – whether you're a family with children or a group of adults, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Worked well for family

Location was perfect for us. The apartment was very clean , very well equipped with a great welcome pack and lots of space. The beds and linens could do with an upgrade as they weren't comfortable. The lower star rating is because of the issue with keys. We struggled to manage with one within our group dynamic. We also made a mistake and took the key to post back which we know we shouldn't have. Dealing with property manager was prompt and efficient but less so for the onsite staff.

It was indeed unfortunate that the guests immediately prior took a set of keys home with them by mistake, leaving only one set for the next guests (above). However, for that to cause such a deviation from our normal 5 star reviews is a bit of a surprise. Especially given that these new guests then made the very same mistake themselves and took another set of keys home with them. Quite ironic. So, even though this is the first time this has happened in over 10 years, our guests comfort is most important so we have arranged contingencies to cope with guests mishandling of keys on departure in the future. We have also ordered new bed linen for good measure.

Well Equipped Apartment

The apartment is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need. Beach towels, bath towels, all bedding, very well equipped kitchen and plenty of beach toys. The living area is very comfortable with the option of air con if required as it is very hot peak season and very humid. The bedrooms are very nice with good quality beds and the bathrooms are very nice. The large terrace comes with two large electric awnings and a very comfortable dining table and chairs. The terrace is particularly pleasant in the late afternoon and evening when the sun has gone overhead. The complex is very secure with entry com, lockable outside gates and a lift that requires a key to get to the car park which is below the apartment. However we did feel that the apartment was more vulnerable as the main patio doors do not lock nor does the kitchen windows. However at no point did we have any worries and it maybe something the owner has not been made aware of. The pool area is rather lovely, the pool is big enough to swim in as well as play about and there were no objections to small inflatables and balls. Most days at some point we had the pool to ourselves which was a real treat. The grounds are clean and well tended and we also enjoyed a few games of paddle tennis. Declan the owner is very efficient with regards to any queries you may have and the app that is current and up dated is very handy. The only thing we found slightly odd was having to wait in before we went on holiday for the keys, however now having stayed there i can see the complexity of things with the need to access the outside doors on arrival. The town of Denia is very nice, however it was really hot and humid so we didnt even make it to the castle! Instead we spent all our days seeking out beaches and absolutely adored Las Rotas beaches where we went every day to snorkel. Also having the added advantage of having no sand! We also explored Javea, Calpe and on the way to the airport had the Benidorm experience! We enjoyed several meals out but particularly enjoyed Miramare, despite it not having that good reports on Trip Adviser. The main street closes at night to traffic and we enjoyed walking down there around 10ish at night for a frozen yogurt, they were delicious. Many thanks to Declan for renting his apartment.

Another great review, with lots of good feedback. I am constantly adding previous guests suggestions of great places to visit to the HomeAway mobile app, so be sure to use that. We check the apartment after each set of guests have left and we've checked all windows and door locks are working properly.

Hemos tenido una gran experiencia en este luminoso y espacioso apartamento en Denia con vistas al mar. La comunicación sobre la reserva, la obtención de la llave y la devolución fue estupenda, Declan un magnifico anfitrion, muy pendiente de todo.

Apartamento perfecto muy cerca del centro de Denia

El alojamiento se encontraba en perfectas condiciones, a un paseo del centro de Denia y a 2 minutos de la playa de la Marineta, aunque no es de las mejores. La piscina del complejo es grande y poco concurrida. Las zonas comunes están muy cuidadas. La interlocución con el propietario, fluida y siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos a gusto.

Très bel appartement climatisé en duplex avec piscine. Hôte très chaleureux et hyper disponible. L'appartement était propre, rien à dire. Beau balcon qui donne sur la piscine (pas de vue mer directe). Parking souterrain parfait pour la voiture. A recommander.

Ist o.k für eine Familie

Die Wohnung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Sie benötigt Pflege, eine Grundreinigung und Instandhaltung (Bidet undicht, GWC läuft durch, Terrassentür und Fenster nicht schließbar, Handtuchhalter abgebrochen usw.) Das Bett und das Bad im unteren Beteich ist für große Personen nicht geeignet. Die Lage ist aber top. err erreichbar.

I’m very proud of the fact that 89% of my reviews achieve the maximum 5 star rating, so I take anything less than complete guest satisfaction very seriously. As soon as the guests reported an issue I offered to fix it immediately, but they declined my offer. As soon as the guests completed their three week stay (which I gather they thoroughly enjoyed), I had the minor issues fixed.

Vi bodde i leiligheten i 6 uker, og hadde et flott opphold. Denia er en meget vakker by.

Leiligheten var som avbildet, og utstyrt med alt som vi behøvde til et lengre opphold. Og en hyggelig overraskelse i kjøleskapet ved ankomsten. Kontakten med utleier, og informasjonen vi fikk, var også svært god. Meget godt fornøyd.

Het was geweldig

Het huren van dit appartement was in één woord fantastisch. Het contact met de verhuurder was super. Niet alleen vooraf maar ook tijdens ons verblijf. Bij aankomst stonden er heerlijke welkomst hapjes en drankjes voor ons klaar. Het appartement had alles. Een fijn groot zwembad op een perfecte locatie. Op loopafstand van strand, haven en centrum. Het ontbrak ons echt aan niets. De verhuurder stond altijd voor ons klaar en was erg flexibel. Het appartement is een echte aanrader voor iedereen die een fijn verblijf wil hebben in Denia.

Translated: Renting this apartment was fantastic in one word. The contact with the landlord was super. Not only in advance but also during our stay. On arrival, delicious welcome snacks and drinks were prepared for us. The apartment had everything. A nice large swimming pool in a perfect location. Within walking distance of beach, port and center. We were really not missing anything. The landlord was always ready for us and was very flexible. The apartment is a real recommendation for anyone who wants to have a nice stay in Denia.
