We were a party of 12 adults and the house and grounds were absolutely perfect for us, especially the beautiful pool. (Be sure to confirm the heating element is turned on though.) The house location is perfectly situated in a beautiful village within a short drive to many many points of interest. We all had an incredible stay and didn’t want to leave when our week was up.

We were welcomed by a beautiful garden and lovely shared spaces, along with a very well-equipped kitchen. It was an especially nice touch that the children could choose toys from a box full of games and toys.We spent a lot of time grilling, playing table tennis, and enjoying the local wine tastings and farmers' markets nearby. There is an exceptional variety of activities and experiences available in the area.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family to stay in! There were enough rooms, bathroom, and hang out areas for everyone to be comfortable. The property manager who checked us in was so kind and lovely, showing us around the whole property. The outside areas were spectacular! We were able to grill out, have enough space for everyone to eat together, and relax. The pool is amazing. I would highly recommend for large groups! On top of that, the location is great. It’s just a short drive to Bonnieux town and about 20 minutes to the supermarket. Perfectly located to explore the Luberon! A great experience.

We had the most incredible stay at this villa and can't recommend it highly enough. The design felt so intentional throughout, right down to the artwork featuring women, giving the whole stay a great "girl trip" energy.The kitchen deserves its own mention, easily one of the best-stocked I've seen in a vacation rental, from the blender and food processor to a full range of pots and pans. Even the plates were beautiful. We set the table differently every day, and it made mealtimes feel like an occasion rather than an afterthought.Everything on the property, the rooms, living room, and pool, felt larger in person than in photos, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, perfect for morning yoga. The furniture deserves a mention too: unlike a lot of rentals where seating is uncomfortable or not enough for the group size, here everyone found a comfy corner and we spent hours just hanging out in the living room.A few notes: some shade or umbrellas by the pool would help since it gets hot in full sun. We ran out of gas for the stove and a plancha grill; the host fixed the stove quickly even at 11pm, though the plancha was never resolved. We were also initially told toilet paper wouldn't be restocked despite a midweek cleaning, but once we flagged it to host Karine directly, she sorted us out the next day.None of this took away from a wonderful week. We'd highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the region and would love to return.

I have taken note of your suggestion regarding the pool umbrellas, and I completely agree that additional shade would make the pool area even more enjoyable during the hottest hours of the day. I also sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the gas bottles. Valérie, our usual property coordinator, was away that week, and unfortunately her replacement forgot to check the gas levels before your arrival. Regarding the plancha, I'm sorry it wasn't used during your stay. Had I known there was still an issue after the gas bottle was replaced, Jonathan would have been happy to come over and show you how to operate it, as it was simply a matter of restarting the appliance after changing the gas bottle. This is a delightful property, surrounded by oak and other trees. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of seating, both inside and out. There are plenty of facilities and the pool is large and deep at both ends. Provided you can manage a hill you can walk into the village, where there are several restaurants and you can buy freshly baked bread. The kitchen is good and there are two dishwashers.

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful get together with friends & family. I would highly recommend staying. The only tiny criticism was the kitchen although very well equipped is very small for a large group but it was a great excuse to stay out of it!!

Very nice house in a beautiful surrounding.

Very well equiped house. Nice bedrooms, very good kitchen, beautiful livingroom for perfectly hosting 10 + people. The garden and pool area is so big and has several beautiful places you can relax. Bonnieux and the surroundig villages like Lacoste or Saignon are gorgeous.

We say thank you for this wonderful week. We enjoyed everything. The magnificent pool, the Provence furniture , the beautiful evenings on the terrace, the game of boules and the wonderful summer weather and much more. We were 15 people aged 12 to 82. everyone really enjoyed this holiday.

Luberon paradise

Our group of 9 seniors loved the property. The villa is beautifully appointed, with cooking and dining facilities in abundance. The property is spacious, with a variety of places to relax, and a lovely outside dining area. There are also a variety of games and activities available onsite. The neighbouorhood is quiet and has miltiple walking trails in the local neighbourhood. The villa is a pleasant walk from the village of Bonnieux, with a good butcher, boulangerie and small. mini market with excellent fresh fruits and vegetables for meal supplies. A nearby wine cooperative and the market days at the surrounding villages made for a wonderful holiday experience.

Perfect home for a group of friends

The house had everything we needed for a weeklong stay for 9 people. Plenty of places around the property for outdoor gathering, well-equipped kitchen. The 2 refrigerators and dishwashers were helpful. We had Chef Ronald cook one night - best meal we had in France. It’s hard to tell from the listing it there are 4 bedrooms on the main floor, each with their own bath. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one bath, and 1/2 bath that has a shower and sink, but no toilet. We loved our time here - it’s hard to leave.

A Wonderful Place For Coming Together With Family

The Bastide de Bonnieux is an absolutely wonderful place to stay with a large group or family. From the beginning, the communication with Karine and Jessy (her property manager) was great. She was really responsive to questions we had, and shared a very informative handbook with us that had so many suggestions for things to do in the area. You can tell that Karine pays attention to the details, and this is what makes Bastide de Bonnieux such a lovely place to stay. The property is such an amazing place for family to come together and play. There are so many opportunities to do things on the property itself, that it can be hard to balance getting out and seeing the area with relaxing and having fun at the bastide itself. It’s a community building and family-oriented property that brings people together in conversation and play. There are so many different places to hang out and move to in the property that you never feel bored or like you’ve been sitting and looking at the same thing for too long. There is a ping-pong table situated right between the outdoor eating area and outdoor couch area that became a fun way for people to come together and play. There is a shed which has 7 bicycles that you can use to bike around the country roads (or bike into town if you are fit enough to bike back uphill). There is a badminton or volleyball net, a basketball hoop, a petanque court, a huge chess board, a small soccer pitch for kids, etc. It’s a 15-17 minute walk into the central ‘plaza’ of Bonnieux, or a 5 minute drive. You can bike down to the village, but biking back up is a bit harder on the legs and you’ll have to be fairly fit to not walk for parts of it. There is a great little store in town that sells great produce and a few staple items. There is also a nice little bakery for bread and croissants. Overall, the Bastide de Bonnieux is a gem of a place! We loved our time there and made so many great memories together as a family. The house has everything: plenty of indoor space, bedrooms that offered privacy, multiple outdoor hang-out spaces, plenty of games and recreation resources to keep everyone entertained and laughing. We highly recommend it and cannot speak highly enough about Karine, Jessy and the level of detail that goes into making a place so intentionally catered to visitors. There are not many places like it.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Bastide Bonnieux in vollen Zügen genossen! Das Haus hat eine zauberhafte Atmosphere. Es ist sauber und großzügig. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Küche! Sie ist einfach perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts! Besonders begeistert hat uns das wünderschöne Geschirr, mit dem sich ein traumhafter Tisch decken lässt. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts.Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Des vacances provençales parfaites!

La villa est située à distance de marche du village de Bonnieux, un magnifique village du Luberon on l'on trouve restaurants, boutiques d'artisannat et location de vélos. Le terrain de la villa est intime et magnifique avec beaucoup de végétation. Karine est une hôte avec qui la commuication est facile et rapide. L'accueuil s'est fait sans difficulté et même qu'une arrivée hâtive nous a été permise. Nous avions même une petite surprise au frigo à notre arrivée, une attention fort appréciée.

Une belle maison de famille

Un endroit merveilleux pour se retrouver en famille Vous avez tout sur place Les chambres sont préparées comme à l hôtel (serviette peignoir …) Vous pouvez avoir plusieurs ambiances lors de vos repas car il y a une vaisselle de folie Pétanque , piscine ,ping pong, jeux d échec géant …. Et l équipe est au top 👌 Merci

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage

Wir haben eine Woche im Oktober in diesem schönen Haus verbracht und können nur positives berichten. Toller beheizter Pool, den wir auch noch im Herbst benutzen konnten. Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Boule Platz, Fahrräder alles war vorhanden. Vom Haus aus gibt es viele Möglichkeiten die Provence zu erkunden. Unser Tipp: Wenn möglich E-Bikes mitbringen.

Vacances avec famille et amis

Une semaine parfaite pour du chill entre amis et en famille ! Piscine, boulodrome, hamacs… tout y est pour une semaine de détente. La villa est de plus très bien équipée. Je ne peux que recommander cette propriété.
