The apartment is very spacious, bright, with elegant furniture and decoration. There was enough space for our family (two adults and three children). Every detail and furnishing was chosen with taste, love and care. The city of Lucca was easy to reach on foot. We drove to Florence, Pisa, Carrara and nice beaches of Lido di Camaiore with a car (everything within 30 - 60 minutes). The host Massimo was very friendly, hospitable and attentive to our questions and wishes.

We had the great pleasure of staying at Massimo’s beautiful apartment for nearly 3 weeks. His communication was amazing and his local tips for food and travel were so helpful. The apartment was like a home away from home - spotlessly clean and so many homely touches made it the ideal choice. The ample parking was so convenient - and so well located being a short walk to the beautiful walled town of Lucca. I would highly recommend this apartment - Massimo and his wife were the perfect hosts, thank you.

Wonderful location and property for a visit to Lucca especially if you have a car. Parking off street, lovely garden, easy walk to the center of Lucca, services right near the property, all the conveniences you need. The host was so helpful and friendly and had everything we needed and more! The home is wonderful - three bathrooms and three bedrooms, air conditioning, lovely kitchen, washer and dryer and nice dining and living areas. I would highly recommend this location for your stay in Lucca! We have been for visits several times in the past and have always stayed inside the wall but this was wonderful and convenient. We would stay at this property again! Having the modern conveniences certainly made our trip very comfortable! Massimo, the host, was very attentive and helpful and made check in and check out very easy. Wonderful stay!

Wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable. Massimo goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. We especially appreciated his recommendations for local cuisine and sightseeing. Everything is so accessible on foot and the bikes for complimentary use is so kind. Having access to parking and laundry on site is very convenient for longer stays. We would certainly stay here again!

We had such a pleasant experience in this beautiful apartment…more like a house. So much privacy behind this gated home with its beautiful yard. Massimo was so friendly and helpful, you couldn’t ask for a better host. We will definitely plan a trip back!

This is a must stay. Location is perfect - near grocery store, train station and gate to walled city. Massimo is the perfect host. Very friendly and informative. We had a great trip!

Perfect stay for a family of 5

The property is beautiful and well kept. The location was great for our family- it is a short walk to the walled city of Lucca, there is a Lidl close by, and the train station is a 15 minute walk from the home. Massimo was the best host possible and we loved our time there.

Beautiful retreat in Lucca

Perfect place for a family. Host was wonderful and attentive. House was beautiful decorated and furnished. It had everything we needed. It was lovely to come home every night. Easy to visit Pisa and Florence as well.

Great stay

My husband and family with friends stayed for 3 weeks.A very comfortable apartment and will laid out. The location is excellent. Massimo was very attentive to our needs and a super host. I would recommend this listing.

Massimo was a perfect host who took the time to fully explain all the intricacies of the accommodation and area. Daily walks into Lucca were so enjoyable. Upon our departure Massimo recommended the Pane e Marmellata which was just what we were looking for before our next destination. Bravo!

2 great days in Lucca

Massimo was very helpful, knowledgeable about the area with great dining recommendations and Very accommodating. The home is beautiful and just as described. Wish we were staying longer to enjoy all of its amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful experience staying here. Mossimo and his wife were so welcoming and accommodating. They even check on us and brought us towels later on. The flat is absolutely fabulous. Super close to everything and very walkable. The beds, sheets, decor everything felt like a 4 star hotel. We had stayed there Christmas break and they even had a Christmas tree up for us for the holidays. This flat felt like staying at your grandads luxury house not a dusty rental. This place exceeded all my expectations. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and cozy home in Lucca!

Massimo is a wonderful host for this lovely, cozy and very roomy apartment. The decor and layout are superb with comfy beds and living area. Super clean, well-equipped and a great location to explore the walled city. We highly recommend that you stay here—you will be delighted!

Lovely apartment with private parking and use of the garden, a short walk from Porta Elisa. The owner Massimo was charming and could not have been more helpful. The description and photos on the website accurately describe the property. We really enjoyed our visit to Lucca which is a beautiful walled city with many interesting buildings, lots of restaurants and good shopping.

We had a fantastic time in Lucca and the Apartment. Massimo was very kind and explained everything in Detail and welcomed us with a bottle of Proseco and water. Also he and his wife gave us some children Books for our daughter. I recommend staying in the Apartment and many thanks to Massimo.
