The surroundings of Villa Lara

Villa Lara is situated in the residential area “Aigua Viva Park’. This beautiful villa is only 9 kilometers away from Lloret de Mar. Lloret de Mar has a few lovely beaches where you can sunbathe all day long, or actively water ski, swim or surf. At night there is more than enough to do. After dining in one of the many restaurants, you can still have a coffee or grab a drink outside. You should definitely visit the gardens of Santa Clotilde that date back to the beginning of the 20th century. The historical, natural environment is ideal to relax and heal the mind. The gardens are designed by a famous architect from Barcelona, in assignment of the marquis of Roviralta. A beautiful combination of stairs, fountains, squares and viewpoints in the middle of the beautiful variety of the Mediterranean trees and plants. The gardens are situated excellently, with a breathtaking view over sea. A visit to Tossa de Mar is also worth the trip. This authentic Spanish village is built around the medieval fortress Villa Vella. The old fortress has impressive towers and walls, and you can find lots of small streets and stairs and excellent fish restaurants in this area.
