Tres Palmas Costa Rica is 45 min from the town of Puerto Jimenez, up the mountain in a lush rainforest with lots of wildlife to see. We are an off the grid villa that needs 4x4 transportation to our gate code access. We require food service from our own chef/property manager at a separate cost of $50 per person per day for all 3 meals. Our water view over looking the rainforest is unforgettable.

The beach is a short walk down our tropical pathway through dense primary rain forest. It's common to see all four types of Monkeys, Scarlett Macaws, Toucans, Sloths, Anteaters and other wildlife.
The property is surrounded by thousands of acres of rain forest that connects to the famed Corcovado National Park. Corcovado National Park is home to 80% of all the wildlife species found in Costa Rica.
We can plan or book your entire trip to Tres Palmas Costa Rica starting from San Jose. From travel arrangements to tours, we provide more than just a stay with beautiful views.
We will arrange any tours you might want to go on and activities you might want to attend. We can also setup onsite massages, wedding and honeymoon planning, thrilling fishing charters and much more.
With our onsite chef, he can him prepare dishes that you have requested or simply let him create authentic Costa Rican cuisine for you. All seafood is fresh and caught locally. All fruits and vegetables are fresh picked and grown locally.
THE HOME
Tres Palmas is one of the largest and most exotic rental homes in all of the Osa Peninsula. It sleeps up to 16 guests very comfortably in our four detached private suites, all with private bathrooms and alfresco showers, and a large loft in central house.
There is a massive palm thatched rancho which serves as the central gathering and entertaining area of the house. It is nearly 3000 square feet that encompasses two living rooms, a TV room, dining room, gourmet kitchen and a large center circle that is ideal for Yoga groups.
TEMPERATURES
Being elevated on hilltop, Tres Palmas catches all of the cool Pacific Ocean breezes. Since it also borders the cool rain forest on three sides, Tres Palmas stays cool and refreshing throughout the year.
You will actually need to cover up with a thin blanket at night, as the window with louver's and screens lets in the cool nights breezes coming in off the ocean.
FOOD
It is nice to eat as the locals and since we are surrounded by water, fresh seafood is available all year-round. Nothing flash frozen or farmed just all natural. From local cuisine to his touch on other dishes, you will not go hungry.

We have a full-time masseuse on-site so you can get a massage anytime you like. After a long day hiking, there is nothing better than a nice massage with the natural sounds of the forest.

The Osa Peninsula is one of the most biologically diverse places on earth. Boasting over 700 species of trees, 365+ species of birds (with several endemic species), 117 species of reptiles, and almost 10,000 species of insects, the peninsula is home to 100,000-acre Corcovado National Park, known as the crown jewel of the Costa Rican national parks system. Bosque del Cabo Rainforest Lodge offers a rare opportunity to comfortably vacation among all this rugged natural splendor. At the end of our mile long driveway, you’re transported to a private Eden joining the raw nature of the rainforest to the tranquil beauty of manicured grounds and breathtaking views. The nature lodge’s lush gardens, full of tropical fruits and flowers, attract many of the colorful resident wildlife species. Residents of the area include flocks of macaws, toucans, and parrots. Monkeys, coatis, kinkajous, agoutis, and sloths are daily visitors. Peccaries are often seen, and from time to time even jungle cats (like pumas, jaguarundis, ocelots and jaguars) are spotted on the property.
4x4 Car is highly recommended, but if you like we can arrange ground transportation to and from and you can hike around Cabo Matapalo, many of our guest do and so much to see and do on foot.
With 3 meals a day per person and plenty of adventures to book, food and tours will be a separate cost.
Parties, have to be arranged with the Manager Trevor. No use of kitchen appliances such as stove, grill, and oven are allowed due to past damage. Being so remote, it is not possible to fix these in a timely manner. Three meals a day are provided with a separate charge.
