Neil and Mike’s place was beautifully presented, absolutely spotless and perfect for family. The children’s books in the twin room were a great addition for a bedtime read :)

First time staying at Berry Farm Cottage, the location is beautiful and very peaceful while only being a (very pretty) 25min walk to Bridport. Mike and Neil were really helpful and had left a lovely selection of apples from the orchard and snacks on arrival. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy, and well equipped - looking forward to staying here again!

Berry Farm Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing stay. Very well appointed, comfortable and a relaxed atmosphere. The garden, too is beautiful and very quiet. Highly recommend and we hope for a return visit.

Lovely cottage set in beautiful grounds of main property. We had a great week exploring the surrounding area including the Swannery, the Botanic Gardens, Portland Bill and Lyme Regis. The cottage was exceptionally clean and we were very comfortable. The hosts Mike and Neil were excellent regarding communication. A good choice.

The title says it all - we love it here! Neil and Mike are great hosts, the cottage is beautiful and so much to do and see in the local area. Very highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage in a great location; peaceful but close to lots of amenities, including beautiful beaches. Will definitely return.

Fantastic garden!

A great, well maintained cottage but the real highlight was the massive, private garden. Perfect for a picnic and prosecco in the evening. Would definitely stay here again, the welcome book was also incredibly comprehensive - much to do in the surrounding area!

Quiet rural retreat

Lovely property, great garden. Ideal location for exploring West Dorset. Keep an eye out for deer in the garden!

Peaceful coastal oasis!

Location & property are ideal for a seaside getaway. Hosts Neil & Mike go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay at Berry Farm Cottage. Unique, private setting with exquisite gardens & scenic views of fruit trees and pastures. Clean, well-appointed and delightfully designed.

Everything about Berry Farm Cottage is excellent, the property, the location, cleanliness, great hosts. We come to Bridport a lot and wanted somewhere that could accommodate my wife and I and our adult son with special needs, we wanted large private and secure grounds, which Berry Farm has that we loved sitting in and out son could wander around in, in an hour we heard roughly 20 different birds (Merlin App). We could walk into Bridport in 15 minutes as well, which is perfect. The property is very clean, comfortable and well decorated, my wife has even googled the downstairs bedroom wallpaper as she now wants it for ours back home! Neil and Mike are great hosts, responding immediately to any queries and there was a lovely welcome basket on arrival and milk in the fridge. We are definitely coming back next year and family members are now looking to stay. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Berry Farm Cottage over New Year. We are a family with 3 young children and Neil and Mike were so welcoming with a great hamper, New years/Christmas decorations and games and books for the kids to play with. The cottage was lovely, cosy and very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful and the restaurant recommendations from Neil and Mike were spot on. Thank you again. We hope to be back soon!

A long weekend in Dorset

We love the area and booked Berry Farm Cottage as it looked lovely on the website. We were not disappointed as it was perfect for our stay to celebrate two 60th birthdays. Thank you Neil and Mike for the effort you put in to making us feel so welcome.

Dorset at its best

A very cosy cottage in picturesque surroundings. It is worth staying just to hear the birds but there are many more reasons. We often say there must be somewhere else to stay but we always return.

A beautiful gem!

We've just had the perfect week away! The cottage and large garden are beautiful. The owners have thought of everything that guests may need. It's family friendly and comfortable in a lovely location but easy walking distance into Bridport and a short car journey to the beaches. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Charming cottage near Bridport and Jurassic Coast

Immaculate and very stylish. Four adults enjoyed a great weekend due to the very thoughtful use of space. Too wet to take advantage of number of walks direct from door, a one hour touring radius covered to the East Lulworth Cove, Portland Bill, to the West Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to the North Sherborne. Closer to home Abbotsbury, Chesil Beach, West Bay and Bridport itself with interesting independent shops, lively pubs and very good range of restaurants. Our hosts were on hand but discreet. What’s not to like.

Four Meet up in Dorset

We were two couples wanting a little break away together and needed a place to stay. Berry Farm turned out to be perfect. It is set in the most beautiful grounds and if you get lucky with sunny weather during your stay you'll be able to take advantage of an early morning cuppa in the orchard. The hosts seemed to have thought of pretty much everything, including mirrors by the window and plug sockets for those of us needing to do hair and make-up. It is in a great location for taking advantage of the surrounding area. If you don't want to go out in the car, I recommend taking the river walk from Bridport to West Bay. I have Coeliac disease and I can honestly say that all the places we ate in, catered very well for a gluten free diet. I particularly liked 'Rise' in West Bay that actually boasted on their menu the use of dedicated fryer's for gluten free (although be aware that service can be quite slow). This is a fabulous little cottage and I can totally recommend.

Immediately felt like home. The cottage is bright, airy, spotlessly clean and exceedingly well appointed. The garden is simply wonderful - if it were Escape to the Country, we’d buy it! There are thoughtful touches throughout from quality linens, a welcome basket (thanks again) and outdoor furnishings for every occasion. Definitely one of the best holiday properties we’ve rented and we’d most definitely return. Mike and Neil are the hosts with the mosts!

Fantastic place to stay!

Berry Farm Cottage is a real home from home! Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with an eclectic and stylish mix of furniture, furnishings and ornaments, it has everything you need, well equipped, well thought out and with a lovely surprise of a welcome hamper on arrival. Great location close to the shops in Bridport and close to the sea and major sites in this lovely part of Dorset. Mike and Neil have an eye for detail and one or both of them have that creative streak that makes this holiday cottage a big step up from the norm? I’ve weekended many, many times with family, friends or as a couple and loved everything about Berry Farm Cottage. Antony, Emilia and Adam

Wonderful Property!

Berry Farm Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. In addition to being beautifully presented and very well equipped, it is in a gorgeous location just outside Bridport. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to come again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful week. This part of Dorset is perfect. As was the cottage. Set in a small village with easy access to Bridport and all of the lovely costal towns and beaches. The cottage has everything you could ever want. We will return.

Perfect getaway!

Neil & Mike are most gracious and generous, for sharing their scenic cottage in West Dorset. Would highly recommend for a small family or couple (with perhaps another couple as guests), seeking to recharge in peaceful setting. Ideally located near Dorset's Jurassic coast; convenient to villages, restaurants, scenic pastures & farmland, and hiking trails. Berry Cottage is thoughtfully designed to meet all your needs for a relaxing holiday. Thanks Neil and Mike!
