The property was great ! The lady in the office is Awesome ( give her big stars) gave us some great places to take the kids . All the staff were kind and helpful . Great location close too west Yellowstone entrance. Walking distance to food and downtown. Overall we will be telling our friends and family about your location .

Such a good, clean place!! Highly recommend staying here. Each room had an oscillating fan which was nice, we kove fan noise at night! Window unit in the main LR. Bathroom was so clean and plenty of towels for all (there were 4 of us). We were only there about 12 hrs but it was a relief to have a nice, clean place to stay and right in town near everything! Great communication and very nice staff! HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here (and I am picky;).

Perfect location to explore!

Loved this little cabin! Was great location for all the 4th of July festivities and great proximity to hike Yellowstone, Raft and Zipline. Super clean and perfect size for a couple or small family.

The on site washer and dryer were coin operated. One washer and two dryers for 6 cabins. Towels were changed daily by housekeeping. Good location for entery to Yellowstone. Bare bones, not warm and welcoming. Basic TV not smart TV, DVD player no DVD's, no books, cards, puzzles games. Kitchen has cookware and salt and pepper. Grocery stores are poorly stocked and expensive.

Good, if not very good!

Having seized the opportunity to visit Yellowstone for Fall Break, I spent a few days looking at the plethora of listings for cabins in the West Yellowstone area. I ended up choosing #130 Slough Creek Cabin (2 bed, 1 bath). I was surprised by the convenience of the large mud room, at the entrance. Overall the experience was good, if not very good! It appeared as though daily the unit was checked by management, used towels were replaced. The location is good. The internet was sufficient for updating social media status, and uploading videos and photography captured while driving the nearby national park. Also as one of whom is afflicted with asthma and allergies to pets, this was an ideal place to stay. Their rooms are non-smoking and pet free. I look forward to renting again in the future. (Please note that guests are responsible for cleaning a unit before checkout, else you will likely be charged an excessively hefty cleaning fee. Also note, that if you fail to checkout by 10:00 AM you may be assessed a $100/hr late checkout fee. Consider yourselves advised.) Also note, that VRBO provides no actual service despite charging a booking fee. You are still responsible to call the Faithful Street Inn, make the reservation, fill out the rental agreement and either fax or mail it to the Inn. My only regret was not booking with the Inn via their website instead of using this service which really just appears to scrape data from their website. I would also like to point out that the unit have programmable electronic door locks, it was my observation that each morning the locks would unlock automatically. So unless you locked the deadbolt, anyone could walk into your cabin.

Thank you for reviewing our facility here in West Yellowstone. We try to remedy all problems mentioned by our guests. We regret you had problems with the electronic lock we have. After looking into it we were unable to find a defect but did change the code as we do after all visits and have had no issues since. We do have a strict cancellation and checkout policy since our units are vacation rentals and take time to clean properly. Many guests ask for a late check out on their day of departure If our cleaning schedule allows we are happy allow extra time with in reason. Thanks again for staying with us and many thanks for leaving the cabin clean as you found it! Glenn

Slough Creek Cabin is one of 9 cabins located on 3 adjoining lots in the small town of West Yellowstone, Montana. We are in a quiet residential area just 6 blocks from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, a Giant Screen Theatre, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, and the Yellowstone Historic Center. We have two in-town grocery stores that have most of what you’ll need. We offer clean quality lodging to friends, families, and small groups traveling together visiting Yellowstone National Park and the greater Yellowstone area. We try our best to exceed your expectations!

Of the 5 towns located just outside Yellowstone National Park, West Yellowstone, Montana, is the most centrally located for touring the park. We are just a one hour drive to Old Faithful Village and one and a half hour drive to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Yellowstone's boundary sits at the east side of town and we are surrounded by national forest on the other three sides. In winter, you can cross country ski or snowmobile right from town to several of the national forest trail systems. We are also close to several area rivers where you can fly fish or go white water rafting.
