Sunset Cabin is a wonderful property in the heart of North Devon! The house was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The outside area was a lovely place to enjoy warm sunny evenings and the views were fantastic. Whilst remote in a quiet, peaceful setting, it was an easy journey to the beaches, Exmoor and other attractions. We would definitely recommend Sunset Cabin for anyone looking for a quiet getaway to Devon.

Responsive host. Quiet and rural location with great space for our dog to run around. Was worried the cabin would be too hot as our stay was during a heatwave but it was surprisingly cool. Comfortable and well equipped, would recommend

Lovely cosy cabin

Lovely cosy cabin with beautiful sunset views. Clean and comfortable, everything you need for a great stay. Great walks nearby. The cabin is great if you have a dog due to enclosed garden area.

Excellent, would come again.

Sunset Cabin was one of the best we've stayed in so far. Everything you need, very quiet, secluded and peaceful. Will definitely be booking to stay here again. Really didn't want to leave. Thankyou Matt & Pru for a wonderful stay.

Weekend break

Fabulous property in a beautiful tranquil location but with all mod cons you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Great base for exploring. Lovely host who was very responsive to any queries by phone - would love to go back for a much longer break!

Brilliant

Really nice place to stay, beautiful grounds, our dogs came with us they loved it. We had privacy but knowing help was there if we needed it, beautiful part of Devon, will go again if youll have us.

The lodge was very easy to find and the directions from the host, were perfect. The Cabin was easy to access. The inside was very clean, beds made up and everything you needed was available, from hand soap, toilet rolls to dishwasher tablets. We found the outside was lovely, however a little disappointed that the outside eating was not as shown on the photos, it was a very large picnic table which made it hard for us to get round and sit outside to eat food. The outside of the Cabin was in need of a little tlc. However the gazebo with the undercover area was perfect to sit and read no matter the weather.

The cabin was beautiful and had a real wow factor when we arrived. Check-in was straightforward and easy. The outdoor space was stunning and perfect for both us and our dog, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings.It was a shame that the weather wasn’t kinder to us during our visit, as we would have loved to make even more use of the outside area. Even so, it was still a lovely place to spend time and unwind. The cabin was comfortable, well-presented, and felt like a real escape from everyday life.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again, especially in sunnier weather to make the most of everything the cabin has to offer.

This was me and my husbands second time staying at Sunset Cabin and again we were not disappointed. Such a lovely spot, beautiful clean cabin with plenty of things to do nearby. Great stay

Great cabin, in a lovely quiet wooded spot perched on a hill, away from hustle & bustle but only 15/20 mins from Barnstaple. Nicely secluded with fenced garden so great for dog & surrounded by trees. Lodge was lovely & cosy, well appointed with good size rooms, comfy beds, although smaller bedroom with bunkbed is really only for children. Heating was great, when needed, plenty of games, good tv & Wi-Fi, kids highly delighted that Netflix came on at switch on! We only stayed for 2 nights in late Oct, would have happily stayed for more.

Amazing trip at Sunset Cabin

Had the truest of relaxing weekends at this lovely cabin and location! Matt and Pru were excellent at communicating details after the booking and throughout. Making it a very easy journey, even when we arrived in the dark :) The location is amazing with lots to do around the area, and of course our excellent hosts provided many suggestions. Sunset Cabin itself is lovely inside and out and has everything you would want and ever need. We found it very clean, well maintained and above all so very comfortable. Again couldn’t ask for a better experience with the hosts, loved the location and property and will be looking to book again when we can. Thank you Matt & Pru so much for a wonderful experience and letting us share your amazing location!

Great Stay Can't Wait To Come Again
