This detached barn conversion sits close to West Tytherley and can sleep eleven people in five bedrooms.

Downs View Dairy is a converted barn situated near the village of West Tytherley in Hampshire. It contains five bedrooms which include a family room sleeping four, a double with an en-suite, two twins and a single room, there is also a shower room and two bathrooms, the property can sleep 11 people. Also inside, find a kitchen with a breakfast table, a utility, a dining room with comfortable seating and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. The exterior offers off road parking for six cars and a front lawn and patio with furniture and a barbecue. Downs View Dairy is a characterful getaway for family and friends to enjoy.

Amenities: Oil central heating, woodburning stove. Electric range cooker. gas cooker. 2 x fridge/freezer, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. One cot and one highchair available. Off-road parking for 6 cars. Front enclosed garden with lawn and patio with furniture and BBQ. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. NOTE; there is 2 steps from the kitchen to the sitting room and 2 steps into the ground floor double room from the dining room.

A very enjoyable stay here in this very large property that suited us really well with 9 adults - plenty of space, communal and living areas and bedrooms. The property was quite clean, probably quite difficult to get a property this age super clean. More than enough crockery (could of done with some more bigger pans though) but the bathrooms upstairs need updating - 2 just with baths (2 x showers downstairs, one as an ensuite and one standalone). The utility area was great with the dog. I had texted Sykes (who manage the property) a week before the check in date to ask for the full address but didn't hear anything back at all. Luckily we guessed right for the sainsbury order! Enjoyed the log burner in the evening as well, thanks.

Big family get together

This is a great property in a lovely location. 10 of us there, including a 4month old baby. We have a wonderful time, plenty of space, plenty to do. We would definately go back there again. Highly recommended. 10/10

The house could be amazing with a bit more attention to detail. Showers need a good clean to get rid of black mould.

The cottage itself was everything we hoped for, and more! The layout was ideal for our family, offering loads of space, a safe enclosed garden for the dog, and fantastic local walks right from the doorstep. Having a lovely village store and pub within walking distance was a massive bonus, and the location made it easy to head out on further adventures. The owner was also wonderful and incredibly accommodating.The only downside was the pre-arrival experience with Sykes. Their communication was very poor; they were completely unresponsive to my questions, which ultimately forced me to make an expensive international call to get everything sorted. Five stars for the property and owner, but room for improvement from the booking agency.

What a lovely place, owners very welcoming,

What a beautiful place, owners very welcoming, will be coming back, great places to visit Salisbury especially Paultons park (peppa pig world) for my grandchildren. Would highly recommend the property and surrounding places

Downs View Dairy

Excellent choice for a large family group, and base for some great country walks. Peaceful setting. Only slight issue was sound proofing from down stair living rooms to bedrooms limited.
