Our third visit to Ormrods in 2 years. For peace and quite in real comfort in one of the prettiest villages on Exmoor this holiday home is perfect. The views from the house are fantastic. We walked everyday and found so many places of interest and some great pubs too.

Location is great, very good village shop with post office. Royal Oak amazing food. Tea rooms well worth visit or two. The house was just fantastic. And the views were beautiful. Off on dog walks every day with lots of places to discover. Highly highly recommended

Excellent property - kitchen very well equipped which you dont normally find in a holiday rental. Beautiful garden, beautiful village and very friendly locals. Daily visits from a couple of cheeky Jackdaws an extra delight but beware as they know no boundaries and everything is fair game!

An extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. Withypool is a picture post card village with friendly locals and an excellent post office and shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and looked forward to returning to Ormrods at the end of the day.

Another lovely stay at Ormrods and the weather was stunning too. This house is so well situated 2 minutes walk to the tea room with scrumptious sandwiches and cake, and a 5 minute walk to to Royal Oak pub great food and very friendly, and the post office/shop is well stocked with essentials and gifts, the garden runs down to the river which is full of little trout, the garden is a bit steep but most of the time is spent on the balcony taking in the amazing views. Very pleased.

Location excellent for Exmoor and the coast. Good to have the village shop, pub and tea rooms within walking distance. House has wonderful views but garden and path from car parking area steep. Good to have basic Sky package, but the TV is small for the room. Aga/Rayburn is quite difficult to use and the oven takes a long time to heat up. Having said that, there was plenty of hot water, and heating if desired. We enjoyed our stay.

First visit to Ormrods although have been visiting Exmoor for over 30 years - we were delighted with the property which is very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was incredible and at times far too hot but the house provided some cool comfort especially when the bifold doors onto the terrace were fully open - the views are delightful, just hope the trees and shrubs do not encroach too much on the vista. We would not hesitate to recommend Ormrods and should like to thank the Owners for letting us share their home. We hope to return next year!

It is a lovely house in a perfect spot, lovely tearoom, friendly pub which serves excellent food, and a well stocked shop/post office with all the essentials and gifts too, everywhere is dog friendly, Dulverton is a lovely little town, good tearooms, good food at The Bridge and for a special meal Woods at the top of the town is excellent and again a well stocked CoOp supermarket. The only issue is the garden is not totally dog proof, our energetic large dog easily managed to jump up the bank by the kennels and try to follow one of our party to the shop, luckily we were with him and saw him do it and the lane to the house is very quiet.
