Looking for a cozy getaway? This country property is perfect!

The Eagles Nest is located on 40 acres in the heart of Southern Iowa. The cabin has 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms; 2 with Queen sized beds and 1 w/ a full size bed and bunk beds. The Eagles Nest has a fully stocked kitchen with an island and kitchen table; seating for 8. The living room has a large screen TV/Dish Network and high speed wireless internet. The main bedroom has a 40” tv with Netflix. Just outside the door is a large deck with a gas BBQ grill, table and chairs for dining. Beyond the patio is a large fully stocked pond for fishing or just enjoying a relaxing ride in the kayak. On the grounds are corn/bean fields and wooded areas. This property is perfect for family/friend gatherings, hunting parties or just a simple get-a-way.

Excellent, roomy, well-equipped “bardominium” cabin. Beautiful area. Fun pond to fish or kayak. So fun for my grandkids and their parents and us!

The Eagle’s Nest was very inviting, comfortable and made it easy to relax. The views were great. The kids were able to kayak, fish, and have a fire for s’mores.

Beautiful Escape

This property was lovely! If you want to get away from it all, this is it! We loved being able to go fishing and kayaking right out the back door! The host was excellent and responsive!

Relaxing getaway

We stayed here for a long weekend. It was very quiet and peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, having a bonfire and just relaxing and drinking coffee on the deck. The house had everything we needed and the host was quick to respond to questions.

Country Style

The property was very clean and well kept. If you want a little country style living this is the place to go. Nice pond for fishing and kayaking and very quiet and relaxing.

Family Reunion

We had a great time weather was awesome. Not too many fish biting but everyone still had a great time! Owner was very friendly and responsive. We had a large group there and plenty of room.

Peaceful privacy

We had an awesome time during our stay. The ponds are great for fishing and kayaks. Our daughters had so much fun exploring the property and fires waterside each night! It was the 1st time fishing for both kids and many fish caught, so much fun.

Peace and quiet

Just what we were looking for...peace and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Spent the days on the back deck overlooking the pond and watched the family of geese and listened to nature. Perfect!
