Wonderful view over Menton

The property and the garden offer a breathtaking view over Menton, which you can enjoy sitting under lemon trees. Miguel and Maria were the perfect hosts and always welcoming and helpful.We are very grateful for a wonderful week.

Paradise in Menton

Beautiful property nestled in the hills of Menton. It had all amentities that were needed. Miguel was very patient with our lack of French. The 300 m hike (as it was a hike) back to the house from the coast is not for the faint at heart but good to help refresh after a food filled day in town! Would go back for sure!

Mostly wonderful

Miguel is a wonderful host as is his wife Maria. Their bespoke room was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Exceptionally clean. We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. Anyone with heart/breathing difficulties would struggle with this. The garden is a beautiful spot looking out over the med, sadly the room is facing their home so privacy was an issue for us, if you dont mind that then its a perfect spot.

Menton in Springtime

Small but perfectly formed. Comfortable studio with adequate facilities situated in the garden of the owners. A private garden with numerous seats and loungers is designated for the sole use of residents of the studio. The garden areas is laid out with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, avocado tree and has a panoramic and picturesque vista over Menton and beyond to the Med. In the terraces below and enviable vegetable / fruit garden. The property is as previous reviews state, an energetic climb up the steps from the village, less so if a car is available as this can be parked nearer the house. The solution is to plan your outings and minimise the trips down to the town. Public transport is easy, cheap and plentiful along the coast as well as up to the many medieval villages which are well worth the scary journey up the twisty narrow roads which are not for the faint hearted. Maria and Miguel were very friendly and helpful. Their English is limited as our French is but communication was manageable. A delightful couple.

Gîte situé dans un cadre enchanteur entre les anciens grands hôtels Winter Palace et Winter palace et le monastère de l'Annonciade (visite obligée à Menton)Bon accueil des propriétaires dont la présence est très discrète bien que leur maison soit en face à 5 m du gîte.Les photos et le descriptif disent tout sur ce logement bien coquet. Cet un studio donc convenant à des personnes ayant un rythme de vie synchrone !La place de parc proposée se trouve à 150m au-dessus du gîte. L'accès se fait à pied en descendant le chemin pentu et en escaliers du Rosaire. Les bagages doivent être portés, Au portail de la propriété il reste à gravir un escalier, lui aussi assez pentu, d'une trentaine de marches. Tout cela , bien sûr, à renouveler au départ ! Le propriétaire offre son aide pour le transport d'une partie des bagages.Du fait de ces conditions d'accès, c'est un logement réservé à des personnes bien ingambes !

Un petit havre de paix sur les hauteurs de Menton Très bien situé entre le Vieux Menton et la nouvelle ville , très proche de la gare routière et de la gare. SNCF. Après il faut quand même le dire quelques marches …mais le paradis se mérite Très bon accueil par MiguelLogement très fonctionnel ,confortable et propreMagnifique terrasse et très beau jardin avec vue sur Menton et la mer méditerranéeJe recommande fortementMerci Maria pour ces délicieuses, confiture de citrons et de komkat J’espère à très bientôt

J'ai passé un excellent séjour à Menton.la location était parfaite.(ça grimpe pour y arriver mais quelle vue !)Les propriétaires présents sur place sont disponibles et très discrets.Un grand merci à Miguel d'être venu me chercher et de m'avoir reconduit à la gare.Si je reviens à menton à l'avenir, je relouerai cette location sans hésiter !

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber. Die Beschreibung traf exakt zu. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, vertrauensvoll. Sie waren bei Fragen z. B. zu Einkaufs- und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, Entfernungen zu Gaststätten etc. stets ansprechbar. Der Standort entspricht den Fotos ohne wenn-und-aber. Es war sehr ruhig. Ich würde und werde hoffentlich wieder zu Miguel und Maria gehen. Ich spreche meinen großen Dank an Maria und Miguel aus, dass ich in ihrer FeWo wundervolle Tage verbringen durfte.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la location de Miguel. Nous avons apprécié la propreté du logement, le jardin et la superbe vue sur la ville de Menton. Nous remercions vivement Miguel et son épouse pour leur accueil et sympathie pendant tout ce séjour. Nous avons été surpris par l’accessibilité de la location, car Menton est une ville pentue et il faut monter quelques marches pour accéder à la location. Le calme et la beauté du lieu,nous a fait oublier son accessibilité.

Paradies für sportliche Menschen

Das Appartement entsprach exakt der Beschreibung, der Garten ein Traum, die Aussicht unglaublich, das Ehepaar Miguel und Maria sehr sympathisch und jederzeit ansprechbar!! Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, da das Haus ausschließlich über Treppen zu erreichen ist. Ansonsten ein herrlicher Ort!
