feeling at home

This place is cool, comfortable, clean, warm and well located out of the turistic rush. We did a great choice booking it!!! Contact with Idan was easy and fluent and thought we didn't get to meet him, we could feel he cared for us.

Beautiful flat in a fantastic location

I've stayed at Origami House twice now, and it has been nothing short of fantastic each time! The flat is very spacious and well-appointed. The location is wonderful- just a short tram ride into the center of the city. The neighborhood that the flat is located in is awesome too and is home to great pubs, restaurants, and shops. Idan and Marta are gracious hosts! If you're looking for that perfect flat for your visit to Prague, look no further!

Mooi, verzorgd appartement in super leuke buurt, enorme service van eigenaren

Het was een mooi verzorgd appartement. Met de lift kwam je bij de bovenste etage waar het appartement was. Wanneer we vragen hadden, reageerden de eigenaren vaak binnen het uur. De wifi viel uit (met pubers erbij niet handig) maar werd zo snel mogelijk opgelost. Het appartement was compleet met vaatwasser en wasmachine. De bedden (vooral het 2 persoonsbed) lag heerlijk. En waar we niet bij stil hadden gestaan, maar wel merkten: het appartement lag in een hele gezellige wijk vol met kroegjes en eettentjes, erg leuk!! Een aanrader waar we graag nog een keer komen.

Nice, clean apartment in a good location

It was lovely to be picked up by Joseph from the airport and met by Ivana at the apartment with a warm welcome. The apartment was fine & good value for our needs - spacious and easy to use, quiet and in a good spot for picking up trams into the centre. There were a few things that could have been better ... our 17yr old son needed a proper bed - the one he had to use is bit small for an adult. There weren't really any special touches which I think make all the difference - some milk in the fridge and some fruit in a bowl really help, especially when you arrive late. And only one towel each, and just one tea-towel really isn't enough. These things are easily remedied though and would make this place great!

Great stay in the beautiful city

We spent a weekend in this apartment and we liked it very much. Just enough space for 4 of us, right equipment (only knives were very well hidden ;-)) and the tasteful furnishing. The location is perfect, it's not far from the city center, we even could walk downtown but you can find bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Convenient public transport as well. The great discovery was "Letenske sady" recommended to us by Josef who brought us from the airport. This is a place with splendid view of Prague and beer bars. I had very good contact with the Idan and Marta who quickly responded to all my questions. And we thank Ivana and Josef for welcoming us and tips for the stay. I definitely recommend this apartment.

best choise

We spent a wonderful weekend in this beautiful new house! It's comfortable, cozy, bright, and with a wonderful view of the city. Holesovice is perfect for those who want to stay very close to the city center but away from the tourist chaos! Idan was very very kind and helpful: he offered to pick us up at the airport (with a car equipped with a perfect place for our 4 year old son) and he gave us many valuable tips; Absolutely recommended! Best choice to visit Prague! Many thank's to Idan and his family for their hospitality and their beautiful home!

The apartment is fantastic, big, clean, fresh and a wonderful place to relax, great local restaurant

Thanks so much to Idan for making our stay in Prague so enjoyable, your apartment is great, so close to lovely restaurants, thanks for the recommended places. We enjoyed breakfast at The Farm, and dinner at The Lokal! The trams are so close, we were in the centre in minutes, we also walked from the apartment up to The Palace/ cathedral, to amazing views! Our daughter also enjoyed Prague's AquaPalace, which we used the underground station, which is also close to the apartment. Thanks again, for picking us up from the airport & thanks for all the extras in the apartment!

Bright, cheerful apartment......very nicely appointed

Great location.....literally a 6-7 minute tram ride to the Old Town.....recently renovated apt.with modern kitchen and lounge area....bright and sunny......ideal for 2 or 3.......spacious primary bedroom and extra wc. Would definitely rent this space again. Jim

Parfait

Nous avons passé 4 excellentes journées dans cet appartement conforme aux photos, largement assez grand pour nous (un couple) et adéquat pour une famille, très calme (pas de nuisances sonores) contrairement au centre ville grouillant de touristes, bien desservi par les trams tout proches qui permettent d'accéder rapidement à différentes parties de la ville. Le quartier est agréable avec ses magasins, restos et cafés locaux. Les propriétaires sont à la fois très bien organisés et sympathiques. On reviendra !

Stilvolles Wohnen im Hipsterviertel / Living with style in prague's hipster quarter

Ideale Wohnung für 2 bis 4 Personen. Ruhig, große Küche, gute Matratzen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für alternative Stadttouren. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei, und so kamen wir in viele coole Stadtteile, wo wir kaum Touristen trafen. Aber auch die Innenstadt ist sogar fußläufig in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Eine Tramstation ist ganz in der Nähe. Leider ist die Innenstadt von Touristen vollkommen überlaufen, ähnlich Venedig. In näherer Umgebung gibt es mehrere moderne Cafés und Bars, ein sehr gutes Restaurant (mit Namen Lokal). Die Wohnung ist stilvoll bis ins Detail und praktisch eingerichtet, großes Bad. Wir werden diese Wohnung sicherlich noch einmal mieten.

A beautiful apartment in a good location

This is a wonderful newly renovated apartment with modern fixtures and appliances. It is close to several tram lines for access to all parts of Prague, and is close to the city centre with good access to subway trains as well. The hosts, Idan and Marta were well organized and very helpful both before and during our stay. I would recommend this unit and hope to come back again some day.

Clean, conveniently located

The apartment was clean, comfortable & spacious enough for 3 people. It is on the top floor of the building so there was a view of the surrounding area. The kitchen had enough supplies. The extra toilet & sink room was definitely a plus. Host provided shampoo & soap. We were greeted by the host who shared a wealth of information about places to go & the surrounding area, another big plus. There is a supermarket up the street, cheese shop, bakery & local restaurants all within 2 blocks. There are 2 tram lines within 2 blocks. We did not wait even 10 minutes before a tram arrived. You are in Prague, but away from the throngs of people & noise of the center. Definitely recommend staying here!

practically, pleasantly renovated apartment in a nice district

We lifed in a apartement with a very friendly appearance. The public transport is nearby. Its a good place to relax between city trips in Prague. The owners are very prudently, organized and the communication was friendly and service oriented. We recommend this apartement, if you searching a smart accomodation in a interessting city, in a district with old and new shops and restaurants and with the chance to meet local people in the streets not only tourists.
