Great VRBO

We spent a lot of time exploring surrounding area because we were so centrally located. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants.

We try to stay here whenever we go to Joseph because it is convenient to everything we like to do. Shopping, the lake, quiet time.

The room was perfect and clean. Management was onsite daily asking if we needed any towels or anything. The grounds were lovely with the running stream in the ack and deer at our back window each day. I highly recommend Mt. Joseph Lodge!

The property was just like the pictures in the brochure on the web site. My husband is a double amputee and in a wheelchair so accessibility is important. The rental was perfect for his needs, the bed wasn’t too high, the shower chair was perfect, the counters and tables weren’t too high! We had dish tv, Internet access, and we were walking distance to everything!! Loved it! We will definitely be back.

Great place

All was good with this place. We could not have had a better time until the last night when a someone checked in the night before we left and walked around until the early hours of the morning.

Girls Weekend

Online booking was easy. Owners replied very promptly to questions, and were very accommodating. the condo was clean and spacious. Just a few miles to a Wallowa Lake. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for our weekend getaway

First time visitors who will return again

Our overall impression of the unit we stayed is it felt like we were staying in a hotel room that had a little bit more commodities than your typical hotel room. It appeared that the entire building had been renovated so everything felt very new, even the wood fixtures in the unit. With that being said, the kitchen has some cooking supplies but not everything you would have at home so keep that in mind if you are going to be cooking in and bring your own cooking utensils and/or pots & pans. We like to have tea or need hot water for our pancake recipe and there isn't a tea kettle that we could find....we heated the water in a pan, but it isn't as convenient. And if you are a person who gets hot when you sleep, you should bring a fan - there are no ceiling fans in the bedroom but there is a portable a/c unit which we would have on for most of the time, but we would have it turn off in the middle of the night because it's a bit loud. So extra fans will help with the air flow once the a/c unit goes off. Other than that, the place was in a great location - the grocery store was 2 blocks away and all of the shopping & restaurants were right out the front door. We will probably look at staying near Wallowa lake the next time we visit just so we can experience the area up there, but if we were to stay in Joseph again we will stay at the the lodge and be sure to bring some items from home:)

Almost Perfect

Very clean and modern unit. well located will all amenities you need. Only negative I can say is the portable A/C unit sitting on the floor in one of the BR is annoying and noisy but we didn’t need the other room so it didn’t affect us much and only used it sparingly while we were away. Overall a nice place.

Few improvements could happen!

Lovely place, perfect location, really clean. Nowhere to put things in the bathroom or bedroom except hanging space. A table or shelf in either location would be great. Overall fantastic, quiet and central. Thanks

Excellent accomodation

Very comfortable and clean, with a spacious well-stocked kitchen and eating area. Lovely outdoor seating areas with beautiful views of the mountains. Easy walk to downtown Joseph.

Great place and location

Very comfortable and nicely furnished, new place. Loved being right at the edge of town. Walked everywhere. Be prepared if you plan to eat in. Great kitchen/gas stove, but a little tricky to make a larger pot of soup. Had to dash to local grocery store for a bigger aluminum pan. Need anything special for food prep - bring it with you. And we should have brought playing cards/game for cool, fall evening entertainment.
