We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage and enjoyed every minute! It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and really cosy and comfortable. The log burner was especially appreciated for cosy nights by the fire after a full day exploring the spectacular North York Moors. The views from the cottage are beautiful and the surroundings are perfect for anyone just wanting to get away from it all. The owners, Gordon and Gill could not have been more kind and welcoming to us and our little dog! Would definitely recommend! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Had a beautiful holiday here at Featherholme farm cottage situated about 5 miles from the little town of Helmsley, the cottage is nestled in a small valley on the North Yorkshire Moors, surrounded by forest and woodland, and hills, beautiful views from the cottage, lovely garden, well kepted and clean, hosts very welcoming and helpful, and ideal holiday for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle, lovely local walks and river near by for those who want to fish. For us we felt right at home straight off, although if you’re a little less mobile the 2 steps to get into the bungalow are a challenge. It doesn’t have wi-fi and the cell signal is spotty and only available next to the window ledge of the patio doors. But if you want to escape technology and really chill out, this is the spot. We had a lovely short break.

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is situated at a wonderful place amidst the nature. Great views. You can walk from the house. There is no signal which adds to the effect of relaxing. The farmes are very friendly and caring. The kitchen is very well equipped. Thanks to our host!
