Very very happy about the stay, we have stayed here for Christmas. Clean, beautiful location. The cottage very well equipped, you can find everything you need. Would be definitely looking to stay here again.

Very nice cottage

We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location.

Very well equipped cottage, this is our second visit to Grinills and still enjoyed it.

Very well equipped cottage, this is our second visit to Grinills and still enjoyed it. Nice and cozy even though it was wild weather outside. We knew there was quite a drive to nearest shop, so prepared for that by making sure we had bread, milk and things for suppers. Beautiful views and lovely places to walk, even if we had to drive to them first. Would have liked a more secure garden for the dogs but that is our only issue.

Clean and idyllic location

We stayed at Grinills with my toddler and parents for a few days. The location was perfect for my toddler who loved running and rolling about on the beach, and there were lots of toys and books for him too. The views from the house were spectacular. Everything was really clean even if the decor is a little dated. The kitchen was really well equipped and all appliances worked well. The garage came in really useful as we had various bikes and equipment with us. We've since moved to another holiday house nearer Skye but missing Grinills and wishing we'd stayed there longer!

Grinills is located in a beautiful isolated spot with a lovely beach just across the road.

Grinills is located in a beautiful isolated spot with a lovely beach just across the road. The owners have tried to cover every base re games, dvds, Wii, beach toys, beach towels etc and it was lovely that they had thought of bread, cheese, butter and milk for us. There were also some staples in the cupboard like pasta etc and chocolates on the table. Grinills is not the prettiest house and the decor is dated and a little tired in places. However, it was clean and comfortable and cosy and we loved our stay there. Not being a pristine show house meant that we could relax with the children.

Spent a week with various family members & the dog in this nice wee house in a beautiful quiet corner of the world. Lots of activities to do & places to visit. Plus we were lucky with the weather :-) Only minor issues were a microwave with temperamental controls & my son reported one of the single beds a bit creaky. Would recommend & I would go back.

This is our 4th time at this property and whilst the cleanliness and location cant be faulted, some of the kitchen equipment is showing its age, also the twin room single bed mattresses have waved the white flag and need to be replaced. overall the property is a brilliant but needs a few pounds spending on it to bring it back to where it was 4 years ago
