Know for its incredible hunting and fishing & LARGEST MOOSE in Manitoba! Beautiful RIVERTON. This Adorable renovated cottage in 2016 is ready for Rent! BRIGHT! FRESH & CLEAN! Located just minutes from the water. Cottage is approximately 900 sqft. Walking though you will notice warm cozy & natural finishings with pine and grove walls and ceiling, many Oak cupboards, Open style kitchen with Island and bar chairs, updated appliances & a full kitchen with stove/oven/microwave. Large bathroom with new shower, new sink, new toilet and new flooring throughout. Sleeps 6 people maybe 2 more with other accommodations. First bedroom has 1 Double bed and a single bed, 2 dressers for clothing, bedroom #2 has one bunk bed (double on the bottom and single on top part) also has a dresser & closet, plus sofa bed in the living room for 2 people. Please bring your own bed sheets!

Included to use, new BBQ, patio furniture, Fire pit, full size newer fridge, oven, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, pots pans, cutlery, plates, glasses and much more

Great option for a stay in Canada

It was a perfect house for us to stay at instead of a motel, having room while fishing in Canada to keep all of our stuff is a huge bonus. The house was fully furnished and had anything you needed at the house already! Thank you so much!

Hidden Gem

We were pleasantly surprised by the big accommodations provided from this little home. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children, and were able make ourselves at home. The owner, Gina, was always quick to respond to questions and provided clear instructions. Riverton is a charming community with all the necessities near by. We spent most of our days at Sandy. Bar beach and enjoyed drinks with friends around the fire at night. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway.

Great location

Gina is a great host. Her property is in a great location for a fishing week and easily accommodates 5 adults. The house is well stocked with amenities and is spotless. There is a grocery store close by if you forgot anything. This is our 2nd time using the house and we are already booked for next year as well as a friend has booked a week.

Good location for a place to stay for fishing

Everything was good for use as we were ice fishing and spent the day on the lake and the cottage as a sleeping retreat. Says sleeps 8, but would have to be young adults or kids, there is no hide bed or pull out, just a couch and a larger love seat and the cot is a flat folding lawn chair item. I would prefer if the ad said no bedding bring you own sheets, I am glad Gina mentioned that otherwise we would not have had sheets, for a Vrbo unit would be nice to have sheets one less thing to pack. Last there is no satellite/cable tv as the ad says as well just dvds and vhs movies. Over all our stay was good and Gina was good to deal with and we would stay there again for our annual fishing trip.

We had a very nice stay....

The property on the outside...was less than desirable! The neighborhood was a bit run down! The inside of the house was BEAUTIFUL! Just like in the photos! The inside of the house was VERY nice and clean! The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could have needed in it....table settings, pans, utensils, silverware, and also towels, toilet paper, etc.... That was a blessing!! The beds were nice...we needed to bring our own sheets...which was fine... The house does NOT have wifi! The town had a gas station which is a plus... Overall...we had a great weekend...

Great family getaway

Riverton Cottage

What a great little cottage, clean well stocked with amenities and close to shops, fuel and the water. Gina, the host, was a pleasure to deal with. She was prompt in answering any questions and provided easily understood check in and check out procedures. A very great property that I will use again next year for our annual fishing trip.

Great stay in Riverton

I was in Riverton for Ice Fishing and rented Gina's place for a longer stay - very clean and cozy. Gina was very acommodating.

Excellent Property

Overall, my experience with this property was excellent. It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want, the owner is very contactable and I could not say anything was not as advertised. I am already planning my stay next fall at the same place.

Yet another great stay

This was my families third stay here and it was amazing as always. Property is clean, has everything you need, Close to Gimli and hecla so great for day trips, and the town is very welcoming.

Sister Stay

This older house in Riverton Manitoba was cozy, clean and well located. We were able to do short day trips to local areas we were interested in and come back and relax. The kitchen is very well supplied with appliances (except an electric coffee maker) pots, and dish wares.

Fantastic time away from home!

Gina is just the most adorable host we could wish for. Her cabin is very well located in a calm and beautiful area - right in between Gimli and Hecla - also with Sandy Bar Beach few minutes away, we had plenty of nice beaches to choose from. Riverton is a small town with great restaurants and a unforgettable sunset. The cabin has a great selection of dvds and cds, barbecue, fire pit, washer and dryer and so many fun gamos to enjoy outdoor! Thank you Gina for the wonderful time and for all your generosity!

Great get away just outside of winnipeg

Cute clean cabin with everything you need for you're stay. Gina was very helpful and even gave us a tip on where to buy cheap firewood near Riverton. The cabin is in town near a dock where you can go fishing with beautiful scenery and an affordable grocery store within walking distance. Riverton in general is a very beautiful town with great local restaurants, fishing, and great people. Very close to hecla, gimil and local attractions you can adventure out to during the day. 100% would book again we loved our stay here.

We loved everything about this stay. The cabin was very nice and very comfortable. everything was set up nicely. It was nice and and It had everything a person needed. I really liked that most of the windows would open nice and wide to let the breeze come through. It wasn’t to far from Hecla or Gull Harbour. There was lots of places to stop and fish or wade in the water. I would definitely stay here again if it was available. The owners were very nice. In fact we had forgotten something there and Gina messaged me and she brought it back to Winnipeg for me. The stay was awesome in every way.
