Welcome to the Cajun Getaway! This place is overflowing with southern charm. A great place for families, couples, solo adventurers or business travelers. The Cajun Getaway is perfectly secluded, and still only 5 or 10 minutes to a grocery store and restaurants. Located in Southwest Louisiana, otherwise known as, Cajun country. This getaway has all the necessities to make you feel at home. The decor is filled with lots of southern love and charm. Cajun Getaway is eight miles south of Lafayette La. The Cajun Getaway is your home away from home. It's a single unit and you will be the only guest occupying this private rental property. We do live onsite. Between our home and the Getaway is a swimming pool with soothing waterfalls. There is also a gazebo next to the pool where you'll have access to a gas grill and barbecue pit.

Property is one of a kind and hidden away. It feels cozy and secluded yet most amenities such as gas, restaurants and grocery stores are less than 15 minutes away. The indoors is very well kept and clean, and decorated to feel like another home and it did feel truly like a home away from home. Janice and David did their best to make us feel welcomed and at home. This was our 2nd booking here. Both times were very well spent and would definitely recommend to others and would definitely book again if given the opportunity.

Lovely, peaceful country home. The courtyard, pool, plants and birds singing was like an oasis after our day adventures in the heart of Cajun country!

This was definitely a wonderful trip, and our stay in Cajun Getaway was perfection.The property owners had everything in readiness for us, with a breakfast-stocked refrigerator, perfect comfort in every room, and they came and met us, showed usaround and welcomed my dog just like family! I could not have asked for a nicer place to stay! Thank you to The LeBlancs for such gracious hospitality, we will definitely return!

Janice’s home truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, everything was so welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere was peaceful and made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. You can tell Janice puts so much care into creating a beautiful and inviting environment for her guests. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Wonderful 'off the beaten path' find...Beautiful setting, attention to detail, hosts were available when needed. This was a wonderfully decorated property with the most thoughtful amenities (fully stocked kitchen, breakfast items, and every toiletry imaginable). Thank you for sharing your very special place.

Perfect getaway! Clean and relaxing.

Our stay was so perfect for our family. The house is beautifully decorated with Cajun charm. The hosts could not be friendlier, and everything provided was super clean and cozy. The pool and garden is gorgeous and the night sky is filled with stars. We can’t wait to visit again!

Awesome stay

Very accommodating host, they go out of their way to make your stay amazing . The house is located in a quite peaceful setting and very comfortable. This property is better stocked for anything you might need better than my own home is. We will definitely plan to return here. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Great getaway!

This is a wonderful property! Janice and David are such great hosts and went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. Vermillion Parish is a great place to visit and we will return. Our pup loved it, too!

Rang in the New Year under a clear country sky

The family and I enjoyed our stay, using the excellent BBQ to grill up some yummy food we enjoyed in the quiet countryside (aside from some adjacent fireworks). The home is lovely, with a great big TV and plenty of content to enjoy. Bed is comfy and the shower is great. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Quick getaway before starting a new job

WOW! Luxurious and comfortable, well-stocked with all necessary consumables. A perfect, quiet getaway in pretty surroundings! Gracoius hosts and very, very nice outdoor amenities, as well.

My wife and I needed some time away to relax and found this gem. Beautiful country location with great pool and stocked refrigerator. Wi-Fi on site and nothing but peace and quiet! Thanks Janice for a great time!
