We enjoyed our stay in Sestri Levante and found the location extremely convenient. The apartment is only a few minutes from the beach promenade, surrounded by restaurants, and there is a small grocery store directly across the street. It is also very close to the train station—almost too close, as the building is adjacent to the station parking area. This made train travel easy but did result in noticeable train noise. The apartment itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with bright, updated finishes. The building elevator was very helpful when arriving and departing with luggage. The washer-dryer worked well, which was a huge plus during our stay. The kitchen is functional but does not include a coffee maker, only a water kettle. Guests who plan to cook should also bring basic condiments, as even essentials such as salt are not provided. The biggest drawback is the air conditioning. There is only one wall-mounted unit located in the living room, and it faces away from the bedroom. As a result, the bedroom can become quite warm. A floor fan is provided, which suggests this is a known issue, but it does not fully compensate for the lack of a second unit. Normally we would have opened the windows at night, but the train noise made that impractical. Adding an air conditioner in the bedroom would significantly improve the comfort of the apartment. Communication was good overall. Sara met us at check in and speaks English very well. She is responsive mostly on WhatsApp.
